Le Giglio di Firenze est un appartement confortable et lumineux situé dans une position centrale, à quelques pas de la gare Santa Maria Novella et de toutes les attractions principales du centre-ville. La maison se compose de deux chambres doubles (avec 4 lits simples), d'un salon avec un canapé-lit et une table à manger et d'une belle salle de bains avec une double vasque et une douche. Great downtown apartment

Great downtown apartment! Very basic, but it had everything we needed for our four days stay. There is some street noise at night in the front bedroom, but didn’t bother us too much. Also, please note there is now an elevator, so much better with luggage.

Florence Stay

The management check was very difficult and provided no knowledge of the property and assistance with move in. Property was adequately prepared. The property was very well located. If the management check in and site preparation can be improved it would get a higher rating.

Great location

This property is in the heart of Florence and works well for walking around the city. Be sure you have whatsapp as that is how the property manager communicates with you but it doesn’t say that in the directions. The linens and bedding are very basic but overall a great place to stay.

Good Choice for Florence Apartment

We enjoyed our stay at this apartment. Location was great - close to train station, food store, ATM, plenty of restaurants. Great views from the front windows. Apartment was comfortable and clean. We requested a coffee maker and received one later on the same day. Some of the lamps/lighting did not work - or we had trouble turning them on. More written instructions would be helpful. Overall we had a very nice stay!

Great location

While the location was great it was not a good place to stay in 90 degree weather. It had one fan and they brought another (that didn't work). Being on the top floor with lots of steps we were sweating constantly and could never cool down.

The Air conditioning didn’t work when advertised the place had AC. The place wasn’t clean at all.the kitchen can use some more utensils. Location is great but the place wasn’t. They never mention 4 floors with no elevator.

Great location

Comfortable beds. Fans provided! Nice bathroom. Clean kitchen. Great location-near city center! Some reviews mentioned the noise factor, but to be fair, if you want to be near all of the attractions, you’re going to get the noise. There was construction going on across the street as well as constant noise from the street below, but that’s what you get living IN the city center. Just bring some earplugs. No toilet paper provided which is kind of common-I really don’t get it, though. How about at least a starter roll??! Check in was a little frustrating…I let the host know when we landed, when we got in the taxi, and approximate arrival time. I got communication until we actually got to the door. Then nothing. Had to ask the nice guy, Dennis at the corner shop for help calling them. An hour and a half later someone finally showed up and let us in.

The Firenze experience

We were not told the apartment was located on the 4th floor with no elevator. But, we managed to plan our days so that we only had to climb the 93 step once per day. When meeting the property agent Vladimir, he brushed off the inconvenience and did not offer to carry luggage up... The apartment functioned fairly well for us space-wise. The location however turned out to be not so favorable. The street outside was a walkway for folks at all hours of the day and night, and the sound of their talking and celebrating was highly annoying. The location otherwise was good --- we were in walking distance of all sights. Provisions were minimal. For example, no coffee maker, washing machine detergent, dish detergent. One item which wasn't management's fault --- mosquitoes. The apartment is in an older building with no screens.

Mosquitoes ruined our stay

This unit is in a wonderful location. It had everything we needed (except we had to buy a roll of toilet paper). However, this unit is on the 4th floor, plus there is a loft room. There is no AC in this apartment. There are also no fans provided (there was a broke fan on top of a wardrobe in one of the rooms, but it didn't work). I reached out to the property manager and she gave me a number to a servicer that was supposed to bring out needed items (fans and vapes). I was able to get one fan, however, there were 6 paid for guests and one fan wasn't doing it. Therefore we had to sleep with the windows open. I asked for vapes from this service provider, but they never came out. Over the course of the next 4 nights, we got eaten up by mosquitoes. We tried to create a screen, but they're able to get through the smallest of openings. I had 27 bites on my face, my older daughter had 107 bites on her arms, my other daughter was covered in bites all over. It was brutal. I reached out to the host and they never even responded back. Such a bummer, because otherwise, we really enjoy his apartment. It made that leg of our trip a little more rough ad uncomfortable than it should have been. And then to be ignored was disappointing too. Thank you.

Book at your own risk. You were warned ⚠️

I dont even know where to begin. This was the vrbo rental from your worst nightmare. First off, you will be in contact with so many different people, for us it was atleast three. And it's so hard to get a hold of them, and when you do they redirect. When you arrive, you will be welcomed by 93 steps up with no lift carrying all your luggage. And if your experience Is like ours the host letting you in will not know how to open the door and you will be waiting with all your luggage at the top of the narrow staircase. He then forgot to show us the breaker at the bottom of the stairs case and makes you go back down. Then when you walk in the wear of the apartment is horrid. The place looks so dirty. There are stains on the furniture, dirt all over the place. Mold in the washing machine making it unusable as well as mold in the kitchen. I didn't even want to sit on the sofa because of all the stains. The mattress (if you can even call it that) is 2 inches thick. And the wood panels holding it up continually fall off every time you roll to your side. It's actually dangerous because you could fall through the bed. Our sheets and towels were dirty and when we asked for a replacement for the three guests they sent 1 set. We also had no hot water and couldn't get a hold of the host for about 13 hours through their "emergency line" which in turn we were asked to climb up to the attic and take photos of the boiler. Which wouldve required finding a ladder. It was not until we asked for a refund we got offered maintenence but we had already left, because we were not hearing back from the host. This place should not be on vrbo or any other rental site.when we called vrbo support they couldnt even get in contact with the host. Thats definitely suspicious. I wouldnt let family or even my enemy stay here. The other reviews have to be from friends or family. DO NOT Waste your money. We had to book a hotel. It was unlivable conditions and we are a very relaxed group.

Découverte de Florence

Bien situé. Il manque beaucoup d'outils pour la cuisine(ouvre bouteille, serviette à mains, guenille, spatule,tole à cuisson, sel-poivre...) La salle de bain est bien avec la laveuse. L'accueil de Oscar a été rassurante.

Appartement idéalement situé dans le centre ville de Florence. Propre avec équipement minimaliste… dommage que l’annonce ne dit pas que c’est au 4ème étage sans ascenseur. L’air conditionné ne fonctionnait pas donc très très chaud en été !!!

Very central and spacious Apartment

Vorab: nach den letzten Reszissionen hatte ich etwas Angst, was uns erwartet und wollte umbuchen. Wir waren positiv überrascht. Es gibt kleinere Mängel, aber keine so Schlimmen, dass man dort nicht wohnen kann. Geräumiges Apartment und genug Platz für eine Familie von 5 Leuten. Super zentral, alles schnell zu Fuss erreichbar. Völlig ausreichend für zwei Nächte. Sauberkeit in Ordnung. Check-in auch. Eine kleine Klimaanlage wäre schon ein Muss. Wir hatten recht angenehmes Sommerwetter, von daher war es auszuhalten. Aber bei einem längeren Aufenthalt und Außentemperaturen über 30 Grad wird es schon sehr warm. Die Ventilatoren müsste man mal reinigen oder regelmäßig austauschen. Die schlimmen Treppen sind nicht so schlimm (außer man ist gesundheitlich eingeschränkt), es gibt einen sehr kleinen Fahrstuhl, den haben wir fürs Gepäck benutzt. Selbst unser 5 jähriges Kind hat es auch mehrfach am Tag geschafft die Treppen zu erklimmen. In der Stadt muss man ja auch laufen. Empfohlenes Parkhaus die Straße runter war top und schnell zu erreichen. Lebensmittelgeschäft direkt gegenüber. Super Eisdiele gleich an der Brücke hinterm Apartment über den Fluss.

Great Location, Nicely Appointed

This apartment was perfect for our family of five. It was very nicely appointed and had everything we needed. A good location and minutes from the train station, but in a great area with supermarket nearby. Do note the weather when you will be booking; there is no air-conditioning system. Our hosts were responsive and accommodating.
