À quelques minutes de la ville historique de Grand Lake et des 415 kilomĂštres carrĂ©s du parc national Rocky Mtn, cette propriĂ©tĂ© constitue le refuge ultime pour ceux qui recherchent une beautĂ© des paysages et des activitĂ©s adaptĂ©es Ă  tous les Ăąges et Ă  tous les niveaux.

Niché au milieu des pins gris et des trembles, le Lakehouse in the Woods domine le lac Shadow Mtn, le lac Grand et le mont Baldy. Construit en 2007, ce magnifique chalet avec sa spacieuse plateforme enveloppante offre un design ouvert exceptionnel et un savoir-faire haut de gamme.

À l'intĂ©rieur, vous aurez beaucoup d'espace pour vous dĂ©tendre et vous Ă©tendre. La grande salle offre un mobilier en cuir confortable, une tĂ©lĂ©vision Ă  Ă©cran plat, un lecteur DVD et une immense cheminĂ©e en pierre naturelle. La cuisine ouverte comprend un grand Ăźlot de quartz pouvant accueillir 8 personnes et offrant une vue sur les lacs et les bois environnants. Il y a 4 salles de bains, beaucoup de savon et de serviettes, et une buanderie Ă  utiliser si nĂ©cessaire. L'entrĂ©e avant carrelĂ©e comprend un banc complet et de nombreux crochets pour suspendre vestes et Ă©quipements de loisirs.

Cela permet des frais de nettoyage moins Ă©levĂ©s et nous pouvons donc offrir la maison Ă  un taux infĂ©rieur. The views of the lake were wonderful. Access to RMNP was close and easy. Downtown Grand Lake provides a little of everything. The property was just the right size for our group of seven.

Lovely Home

Wow! Beautiful home, well laid out, several living areas on each floor. Kitchen well stocked and all appliance worked great. Great communication with the hosts from check-in to check-out. View from the large porch was beautiful in the morning facing east and beautiful at sunset too. Enjoyed the town of Grand Lakes too.

Colorado dream

We loved almost everything about this gorgeous, spacious home. The highway noise was significant and affected the amount of time we used the porch. We were also disappointed that the lower bedroom did not have a door for privacy. The hosts were wonderful though and we highly recommend this for a family vacation!

I want the house.

Wonderful property with such a warm and radiant interior. This is the house that absolutely welcomes a holiday with friends and family with a gentle rolling fire, sitting on the hearth, cozy socks, and warm mugs of tea, coffee, or chocolate. The kitchen is well stocked, instructions are clear for everything, and the owner is easily accessible via text. The portrait view of Mt. Craig through the living room or from the deck, overlooking Grand Lake, Andrews, and Shadow Mountain, are unreal. Every morning prompted a long look from the deck while I stayed.

Fantastic fall trip

We can’t say enough glowing things about this rental home. The owners were extremely communicative and flexible with our questions and requests. Some things we especially loved were the beautiful porch, outstanding view, and surprisingly - the zero gravity chairs to watch the stars at night. The house was fully equipped, comfortable and perfect for our family. We highly recommend this rental. The owners are absolutely fantastic with communication!!!

Fantastic stay at Grand Lake home

Seven of us celebrated Dad‘s 100th birthday at this lovely home. Mom and Dad stayed in the main level bedroom and the “kids” stayed upstairs and down. The kitchen was well-stocked with dishes and appliances (although we ate most meals in charming Grand Lake). The home is of good quality and well-maintained. Loved the year-round Christmas Tree in the corner of the living room. We spent a lot of time on the gorgeous deck that has the most stunning lake view. So relaxing. Definitely recommend and would stay here again in a heartbeat 💓.

Family Vacation

We couldn't be happier with this cabin rental! It is located close to all the recreational activities Grand Lake has to offer, but feels tucked away for a restful retreat after a day of fun out and about. It is cozy and peaceful, nicely decorated with a well equipped kitchen. We especially enjoyed the view of the lake from the cabin. The host was great to communicate with and check-in/ check-out was simple. We hope to come back and enjoy again!

Beautiful home

We had a wonderful vacation in Grand Lake and loved having this beautiful home as our "home base" for the week. The view from the deck overlooking Shadow Mountain Lake & Grand Lake was the perfect spot to enjoy not just the view, but the 4th of July fireworks too! The home is gorgeous, clean and stocked with nearly anything you could imagine needing to enjoy your stay and the hosts were awesome and available for any/all questions. A Relaxing Getaway

A beautiful home in a very scenic location. We enjoyed spending time on the deck watching nature go by. My son and I love photography and took amazing shots of hummingbirds, magpies, American White Pelicans and many other birds right from the deck! We had a moose visit the property for a photo shoot as well. The property is conveniently located near the national park and many other scenic byways. We had a wonderful time. Our hosts were very welcoming and gracious. I highly recommend this home as a wonderful place to stay.

We are Matt and Krystal Flynn. We were married in Grand Lake in the summer of 2016. We have always loved the beauty and small, mountain town feel of Grand Lake... not to mention the abundant wildlife that seems to enjoy the heart of Grand Lake as much as we do.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

We bought this property from the man that built it and wanted to acknowledge his hard work, attention to detail, and the desire to share this property with visitors from all over. We have traveled to this area for quite a few years to enjoy the beauty, wildlife, and recreation that it offers. Krystal and I loved Grand Lake so much that we decided to be married here. In the summer of 2016, we shared our marriage vows in front of family and friends from all over the country. We'd like to continue to share the beauty of this place with our family and friends, and all the new friends that will come to stay at this house. Not only is the Grand Lake area very near and dear to us, but we found that with this house in particular, that the views from the deck overlooking the lakes and mountains are absolutely second to none in Grand Lake.
