Grand Old Forge Waterfront victorienne avec quai

Cette 4000 pieds carrés victorienne dispose de 3 salles de bains et 6 grandes chambres plus un repaire au premier étage avec un canapé-lit queen size. Il y a assez de lits pour 16 personnes, mais beaucoup de place pour les matelas d'air. Il y a un «quai privé 24'x24 pour la baignade et le canotage. Il y a aussi des kayaks et un paddle board pour votre usage. Avec une longue allée circulaire, il y a beaucoup de place pour le stationnement, et amplement d'espace pour manoeuvrer votre remorque. Bénéficiant de préparer les repas dans la grande cuisine ou griller un festin sur le 6 brûleur au propane grill. Alors asseyez-vous pour un pique-nique à l'extérieur à la table de pique-nique ou à l'intérieur à la grande table de salle à manger. Nous sommes situés à distance de marche du village de Old Forge. Nous avons aussi Tivo sur 3 téléviseurs dans la maison. La plupart des téléviseurs et lecteurs Blu-Ray sont également mis en place avec Netflix, HBOGo, Vudu, Hulu et Amazon Prime. Wifi gratuit est sur place et couvre bien la maison.
Pour les activités d'hiver, nous sommes situés à moins de 3 miles de McCauley Mt pour le ski, à 5 miles de raquettes et de ski de fond des pistes de ski à Fern Park, à .25 miles de Trail 5 pour la motoneige et le gaz se remplissent. Il existe une grande
garage qui peut stocker beaucoup de traßneaux, et avec une longue allée circulaire, il y a beaucoup de place pour le stationnement, et amplement d'espace pour manoeuvrer votre remorque. . Sortez de chez vous, montez sur votre luge et profitez de plus de 380 kilomÚtres damés des Central Adirondack Trails!

What an amazing place to stay with our family. The property is truly incredible inside and outside. The outdoors area was great for hanging out and fishing from the dock, making smores at the firepit and the kida loved the play set. The inside was so full of charm. The large playroom with lots of games was a hit with kids and adults. Kitchen was well stocked with so many appliances, cooking utensils and dishes. The place was very clean. Interactios with the owner were quick and informative. Great customer service. I highly recommend this home.

It was great. We are somewhat biased as this was our past family home so we already knew what to expect for the most part. There have been some great renovations to attic which is now a great getaway for kids of all ages in the game room. We made use of the kayaks and fire pit often. The location is perfect for getting to town using the trail along the lake. The large dock is perfect for sitting, swimming, fishing, and boating. The whole family loved creating new memories as well as remembering all the old times we had spent there growing up. We hope to come back again. Thank you!!

Relaxing Lake Getaway

Our family ranged in ages 8-80 and all of us had an amazing time! Fishing, paddle boarding, and kayaking was everyone’s favorite past time. The huge dock accommodated all of us. It was especially nice having Old Forge literally right around the corner. The beautiful house was enormous with plenty of room for everyone. This was one of our favorite vacations!

Incredible experience!!!!

The house was awesome. Everything was provided and the home is impeccably decorated. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the view was second to none. I was walking around the property in the evening and two deer walked right up to me as if I wasn't even there.

Extended family Christmas gathering

The house is beautiful, spacious and well equipped. The kitchen had everything that we needed to cook and feed our large crew. The kitchen, living room and game room provided good areas for group activities and bedrooms provided privacy when desired. It provided a good bonding experience for the three generations of our family.

Beautiful home

We loved this property. The location was great. Very close to the shops and right on the water. Beautiful home and fully equipped. We did not need anything. The only negative is there are a lot of stairs inside and outside. However it would not stop us from staying there again.

Wow, What a View!!!

This is the perfect place for a large group gathering; so many bedrooms and multiple beds in some. The home is comfortable with large seating areas and all of the utensils you would need. I loved that it was close enough to walk into town if you need some exercise or a very short drive if you choose. The peaceful porch and dock were the preferred gathering places for our group with a lovely view of the lake and the feeling that you are isolated.

This property is absolutely fabulous !!! Description and photos are spot-on.....Beautifully maintained and a huge house for the whole family to spread out. The 3rd floor game room took this property over the top !! I would highly recommedn this property to any large family looking to spend time at Old Forge .

Sibling Trip at Tucked Away

This property was much better than we expected. Every room in the house was very spacious. Everything that we needed and more was available to us. We would highly recommend this home. The location was very close to town. The fire pit and the dock were perfect!

Old Forge Family get away

This is a older lake house in perfect condition and very well suited for a large family or group. The location is right on the old forge pond/channel and also very walkable to town. The owners have spared no expense in insuring their guests a comfortable stay with every amenity they’ll ever need. We would definitely return!

Great location and great house

We had a family getaway with four generations under one roof and this house has something for everyone. The kids loved the game room ( not so much a room as it is the entire third floor!! Bubble hockey was the clear favorite). They also loved fishing, kayaking and the swing set. We did all the meals at the house and the kitchen has all the hardware you could hope for. The living areas and the front porch were great. The fall weather was perfect. We did a day trip to the Wild Center and everything worked out well!

The Gateway to Get-a-Way

I had done a lot of searching in three different areas of the state while looking to book and ended up in a place most familiar to me. Nestled in Old Forge, the gateway to what the ADK has to show and give you, this property was just what we all needed. Traveling from Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, and Rome, we all enjoy getting away from the city from time to time but also need a bit of modern still within reach. This property, in this location, gave us that. Clean, huge, well decorated, well maintained, and well-manicured made it all well enjoyed. The owners were great to coordinate with and the amenities offered by them and their property left us wanting for nothing more. A nice dose of medicine for the soul that was as sweet as could be. Our thanks to the owners and the town of Old Forge.

Awesome house in Adirondacks, close to Old Forge

We had a wonderful stay at the house in Old Forge. There was plenty of activities, kayaks and stand-up water boards right on property. There was even a wide range of sizes of life jackets available for our use. The 3rd floor game room was wonderful and got a lot of use on rainy days. The wrap around porch was a huge hit. There have been many updates since we last visited there 4 yrs ago, including railings on the steps to the waterfront and dock. The house is well stocked. We look forward to visiting again. I would definitely recommend this property

Great Getaway

The Victorian house inside and outside was beautiful and peaceful! We enjoyed everything from the large dock, the beautiful and restful porch, the large and well equipped kitchen and dining room, and the big bedrooms. We played games, kayaked, took walks, enjoyed the hot tub, and went to the movies. The town is only minutes away, and the house is really "tucked away" for privacy and quietness. Owners were very accessible and friendly.

Gorgeous LARGE place on the lake

This is a HUGE house with All the amenities right on the lake. The hosts were always just a text away and VERY responsive. Great house for some family time . Lots to do very close by or do nothing at all and just relax. We will be going back!

Wonderful Escape!!!

The house was AMAZING! It was so nice to escape the chaos of the normal day to day. It was close enough to the town that we could run and grab a few things if needed, but was far enough away that it was quiet and relaxing. The rooms are all large and there was definitely enough space to comfortably sleep all. The kids loved the game room upstairs! The private dock was nice for fishing and the fire pit was great for the evenings. All in all and excellent stay in a beautiful house!

A slice of paradise

Beautiful property, the house is more massive than the photos could ever show. We all were sad to leave when it was over, but what a great vacation it was. Highly recommended and forever grateful to have had the opportunity to stay at this gorgeous spot!
