Our new favorite house to rent in Emerald Isle! The ocean views and beach access were exceptional, and the oceanfront deck is large with great deck furniture. Very comfortable bedrooms and family room, and the kitchen was completely stocked for cooking and eating. We loved our week here!

Our family has rented Sue’s home twice and thoroughly enjoyed both stays. The house is beautiful and clean, and we so appreciate the many amenities geared toward small children.

Wonderful home for the whole family!

We enjoyed every aspect of our stay in Windoon East. The location and easy access to the beach was wonderful. We especially loved the gift bag with lotions, local coupons, etc that waited for us upon our arrival. We would definitely choose to stay again at Windoon East!

Have been staying on the Island for 20 plus years. This house did not disappoint. The kitchen and living room were large enough for our two familys and enough bedrooms and baths to not drive us crazy with 8 kids. Charcoal and gas grill provided aling with ample beach chairs and beach toys. Kitchen is well equipped for cooking and lots of plastic storage wear for leftovers on hand. Both master bedrooms had a great view from the attached 2nd story deck and plenty of livingroom windows gave a dune and sea view from first floor .

My family and I had such a wonderful and fun Thanksgiving vacation in Emerald Isle, NC. The home was so warm and cozy—truly the perfect layout for a family of all ages. Also, we tried out the recommended spots, Flipperz and The Sweet Spot, and they were absolutely delicious! I completely understand now why Sue is a Premier Host. She truly thought of every little detail, and it made our stay feel effortless.

This was the best house we’ve ever rented! Our adult children and their significant others joined us and we were all happy with king sized beds and our own baths. The owner is very thoughtful as the house is well stocked with everything imaginable from the kitchen, to beach chairs and games. You’ll have a great time at Captain’s Choice!

If you're looking for a great house in a great location along the beach, look no further. It's far enough removed from the built-up parts of the island that it was quiet and not at all crowded, but close enough to everything to be convenient. We woke up to the sounds of the surf and watched dolphins swim along the shore from the deck. The house is easily large enough for a good-sized group without being too large. It was clean and had everything we needed for the stay. All in all, an excellent place to spend Christmas or any other time of the year.

Wonderful Views, Clean and Bright House

We had a great stay here. The house was very clean and had everything we needed (lots of pots and pans, serving trays, Keurig, books, board games and a great kids room upstairs). Sue was super responsive and helpful. We look forward to staying here again.
