Maison moderne et isolée avec vue sur le lac Crystal sur une crête boisée

Construit en 2015, c'est une cabane moderne dans un cadre naturel avec une sensation confortable mais ouverte sur la nature. Situé sur une crête sur cinq acres de propriété fortement boisée, il offre une intimité ainsi qu'une vue imprenable sur Crystal Lake. Il n'est pas rare de voir des cerfs, des dindes, des pics, des hiboux et d'autres animaux sauvages sur la terre.

Dormant confortablement six personnes, la cabine dispose de deux chambres privées et d'un loft spacieux, tous avec des lits queen-size. Un futon dans le grenier peut être utilisé pour un septième dormeur. La chambre principale a une salle de bain complète attenante. Une deuxième salle de bain complète est également située au rez-de-chaussée.

Il dispose d'une cuisine moderne entièrement équipée avec four micro-ondes, lave-vaisselle, poubelle et appareils électriques. La table à manger peut accueillir confortablement 8 personnes. Une laveuse, une sécheuse et un lecteur DVD sont disponibles. Sont également proposés:
• Un foyer pour feux de joie au coucher du soleil (avec bois fourni)
• Un grand pont avant
• Un grill extérieur
• Belle vue sur le lac et les bois
• Accès public à proximité aux plages et marinas
• Cinq minutes en voiture de Frankfort ou Beulah
• Le Betsie Trail pour la randonnée ou le vélo (accès à moins de 1/4 mile)

Veuillez noter qu'il n'y a pas d'Internet, de télévision par câble ou par satellite. Il s'agit d'une cabine moderne "hors réseau" qui est fantastique pour profiter des meilleurs moments de la vie. Si Internet est nécessaire, la bibliothèque publique de Frankfort est merveilleuse, tout comme la vitesse Internet à Stormcloud Brewing en ville.

Wonderful Retreat

This property is a perfect place to relax and explore the Frankfort area. So many things to do within a short distance and the suggestions from the owners are quiet helpful in planning excursions. Just sitting on the deck and taking in the woods, the wildflower garden, and the view of Crystal Lake was good for the soul.

Beautiful home located about 10 minutes from Frankfort, MI on a private road. Check in was easy. The hosts did a wonderful job of making us feel welcome including an activity book with menus. Easy access to Frankfort, Lake Michigan, Crystal Lake. Sleeping Bear Dunes are about 50 min away. We had 6 adults and a baby- plenty of room,

Beautiful location!

We all appreciated the lovely landscape, accessible location and thoughtfully cared for property. The quiet site was restful and offered a great spot to launch day trips, hang out in and return to after a day on the beach, dunes, or in local communities. Small issue worthy of note, the upstairs couch/futon is a single, not a double bed.

Peaceful Getaway

This property was very conveniently located with an amazing view of Crystal Lake peeking through the trees from the living room. The house was clean and having access to the washer and dryer was nice. If coming with more than four people, I would recommend bringing extra towels/rags as the host only leaves four sets.

Long weekend

We had a wonderful stay at this property during a long weekend visiting friends from college and spending time at Crystal Lake and the Frankfort Beach. The home was perfect for our three kids, my wife, and myself. The house had up-scale amenities (I enjoyed the coffee mugs) and a gorgeous view of Crystal Lake from the big living room window. The beds were also very comfortable.

Off the grid awesomeness

Property owners were awesome super easy to communicate with.Place was very cozy and close to lake we went every day we were here Using the fire ring to make s'mores with the kids was a memory that will be cherished The location is amazing Your right in-between Frankfort and beaulah so everything is within 15 minutes of the house We were worried about kids not having wifi but it turned out to be awesome

Was so serene & quiet! Did not miss the internet, TV or WIFI enjoyed playing games, laughing, & conversations with the kids! Beautiful home! 1 little thing was the BBQ pit was a little rusty but we just used some foil! Would definitely rent again & refer it to friends!!!!!

Perfect Location in Crystal Lake area

This is a beautiful home high on a hill across from Crystal Lake up a short gravel drive. The home is the perfect lake cottage with a beautiful view. Well appointed with everything you need for a stay and more. We stayed here in September for my husband to participate in the Ironman race in Frankfurt. The home was in a perfect location to get back and forth for the activities. We really enjoyed the easy access to all the nearby towns and restaurants. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen had what we needed when we prepared meals. If you want to enjoy the Crystal Lake/Frankfurt area this is the perfect place to stay.

Well stocked home away from home!

This house was perfect for our family and had more than enough room! I love how its in the woods and has privacy. The large deck was amazing and perfect for hanging out at night after dinner with card games. There is a little view of Crystal Lake, which was a bonus and we were even able to watch some fireworks from the deck. We were only a short drive away from stores, the Frankfort beach on Lake Michigan, our family cottages on Crystal Lake, the parade in downtown Beulah and Crystal Mountain. It couldn't have been a better location for us. The house was well stocked with supplies which was appreciated. We enjoyed our stay so much we might just have to come back next year!

This beautiful home, with all the amenities, was a wonderful place to stay! We were a 15 minute drive to multiple towns and lakes, wonderful shops and places to eat! Only a 30 minute drive from here to sleeping bear dunes, a very popular tourist spot . if anyone is looking to stay for a few weeks this would be the place to do it!! This home has a beautiful deck and we were surrounded by lovely smelling flowers and a breeze even on the hottest of days. Very nice outdoor grill and firepit. Home is situated up on a hill in the woods with a view of Crystal Lake. I cannot think of a negative thing to say about Fern Hill at all! You will need to take nothing on this vacation other than your clothes, swimwear and food! Everything is provided even A/C! We will definitely be returning to Fern Hill!!

Summer Vacation Review

My family had a great experience with the property. Nice and clean. We were familiar with the area and felt it was a good and short distance to access downtown Frankfort and Beulah. Kids were able to access and enjoy the bike trail easily. Good for everyone to unplug and enjoy each other’s company.

Perfect Location!

My family of 5 stayed here and it was a nearly ideal location for everything we enjoy. Equidistant to Beulah and Frankfort with plenty of recreation within minutes. The home is nestled back in the woods off of 115 which during the day you can hear traffic from if sitting outside but inside is perfectly peaceful. Nice crystal lake view from the huge windows was great and allowed for spectacular night sky beauty. The hosts were great in getting back to us when we had questions. The only negatives were that there was no back up paper towels for the kitchen or dish soap. No biggie we just bought some of our own. One note to anyone who may want to work remote or use their own internet/data. As described this house is off the grid which is a great way to retreat and escape the grid. However cell reception or portable wireless is still very slow if you’re attempting to use technology. In all this is a beautiful property in a beautiful and nearly perfect location with friendly hosts!

Excellent property and location

We had a friend reunion in Frankfort, so had 2 couples staying here. The views were fantastic, and the house was perfectly laid out for being together or separate. We had an easy time with check-in and check-out and no issues while there. Will definitely be returning as we make the friend reunion an annual event!

Amazing Vacation & Home!

If you think the pictures are beautiful, wait until you see the real view of Crystal Lake from the gorgeous floor to vaulted ceiling windows. We brought our 3 teen kids and 2 of their friends, and they loved the loft. The firepit is lovely, and everything was very clean and comfortable. Just a few minute drive to both Franfort & Beulah. Also just a quick walk to the Betsie Trail along the lake. Would absolutely stay here again.
