Cannot fault.Excellent location lovely walk from SKIPTON across the fields. A reserved parking space.SKIPTON itself is a beautiful town with plenty of lovely places to eat and visit.The cottage was better than the Photos, lovely garden / tub, excellently furnished with a Smart TV and reclining sofas. My wife and I were very happy. If you are ever in the area on a hot day I recommend driving to Ingleton falls with a swimming costume.

What a fantastic review Julian covering everything that is great in this area. You were blessed with excellent weather throughout your stay but agree Ingleton waterfalls are a must when in this area.

Great accommodation for elderly people

Just a few steps to get inside, but once you're there, everything is om one level with lots of extra's like addressing gown, tea, coffee, great TV and,should you be traveling with someone younger, a hottub.

Excellent Cottage….

This was a fab booking, really enjoyed the cottage and the hot tub was spotless! Sally’s guest book was one of the best I’ve seen, with great directions for us to follow when we wanted to walk to Skipton. The overall presentation of the accommodation was excellent with lovely little touches throughout.

My partner and I had a wonderful stay at The Granary over Christmas. The accommodation was cosy, peaceful, and beautifully decorated for the season, which made it feel extra special. One of the highlights of our stay was unwinding in the hot tub at the end of the day. It was private, relaxing, and the perfect way to switch off.Sally was a fantastic host and kindly checked in with us during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. We would highly recommend The Granary to family and friends and wouldn’t hesitate to book again in the future. Thank you, Sally, for such a lovely and memorable stay.

Short birthday break

We had a lovely three night stay in the Granary. The cottage was vary welcoming when we arrived and had everything we needed. It is tastefully decorated and very comfortable. We loved the private garden and hot tub. We are hoping to return and would definitely recommend.

This is a beautifully kept property, sparkling clean everywhere(especially the hot tub which is the cleanest one I've ever been in!), very well planned layout and classily decorated. The garden, although small, is well designed and feels totally private despite residences on either side - we never heard or saw anything from either neighbour. The whole patio area, including the hot tub, is protected from the elements by a lean to roof and feels really sheltered - we sat out for breakfast both mornings even though the temperature was only 7 or 8oC and felt comfortable.The hosts supplied everything to make our stay a home from home, including a jug of milk on arrival, ice cubes in the freezer, tea and coffee supplies, and lovely toiletries in the bathroom (which has a very spacious walk in double width shower). The large TV is welcome when the weather isn't great, there's a fire for cosy evenings plus central heating, and there are even board games provided if that's your thing! Friendly hosts (we met Sally on the first morning and had a lovely chat) who were very responsive and communicative when we made various enquiries. The village where the cottage is located is very quiet and peaceful, and Skipton is easily accessible via a short (less than 2 miles) walk along a quiet footpath, or if preferred alongside a road, on pavements. I visited with a friend, but liked it so much I plan to return with my husband later on the year. Very happy to recommend!

Faultless picture perfect accommodation and the hot tub was the cherry on top. Carleton is a beautiful location and a comfortable walk to the picturesque town of Skipton.

Lovely relaxing break

We will definitely come here again. It was spotlessly clean, we had a lovely few days here and the hot tub was so relaxing! A perfect place for couples, I highly recommend The Granary.

Stunning cottages

Beautiful place, lovely friendly hosts. Would defo be coming back in the near future it’s been an amazing few days to get away from reality!
