Chalet Champetre

A very comfortable stay in Les Allues. We had a car which was useful to get us to the gondola or up to Méribel. Our host was very helpful and responsive .

Excellent

Very cozy, Mary has furnished perfectly, lots of special touches. Candles, beautiful fire. Kitchen area perfect with lots of utensils, we didn’t want for anything as it catered for every need possible on cooking and home comforts. Thank you Mary.

Picturesque, quite location, stunning views

It had the wow factor on first seeing the property. It also felt very much home from home. We loved the log fire. Property was very clean and tidy with all the little extras. Mary (owner) was very helpful and could be reached at any time, if needed. Yes I would recommend this chalet to a friend or relative. The local restaurants were friendly with very good food. The local bus service, which was free, was very good and always on time to and from the three valleys. We had a wonderful stay and will come back.

When we stay, we always feel the view 'fills your soul' and is great de-stress calming.... the beauty and wonder of the mountains at their best. Marvellous!

Absolutely lovely property. If anything, the pictures don't do it justice! Difficult to get my wife and daughter to leave after the week. Liked the feel of a place which feels like a home for the owners, with a superfluity of kitchen paraphenalia, which is always important since we cook in a lot. Also really like Les Allues, and got into a routine as to how best to get to the skiing.

Our trip to Les Allues

Seven of us (2 couples and 3 kids) spent a really fabulous week in the Garden apartment. We were very comfortable - loads of space and the attention to detail was excellent. The apartment was well equipped and beautifully decorated. The bathrooms, kitchens and all facilities were first class. The aprtment is very central toLes Allues village which has a great vibe to it - really relaxed. Intimate restauraunts and friendly too. We will definitley be back as this is one of the best apartments we have stayed in over the years that we have been visiting the three Valleys.

Lovely comfortable chalet

The chalet looked good in the pictures and was even better in real life.Good beds, nice spacious bathroom, large cosy living room (we used the fireplace every evening) and well equipped kitchen.We drove to the nearby lift every morning, got there well before 9 and were able to park every day. The lift takes about 15 minutes to get right into the heart of Maribel and the slopes.We found it handy to book a locker at Chaudanne for our ski's and boots (make sure to book well in advance if you go during the hollidays).Communicating with Mary was swift and easy. We (2 adults and a 17 year old) can highly recommend this lovely chalet!

Séjour d’une semaine à 2 couples

Chalet spacieux avec terrasse sans vis à vis. Vue directe sur les montagnes pour l’une des 2 chambres. Village accessible à pieds en 5 mn. Mary toujours disponible jusqu’à notre installation. Un très bon séjour dans ce chalet confortable avec lits kingsize et peignoirs … service 4 étoiles nous reviendrons.👍

Idéal pour marcher l ete dans le secteur de Meribel

Appart très propre. Literie parfaite. Tres belle terrasse ensoleillé le matin. Tres belle vue. L ete il y a des framboises et groseilles dans le jardin accessible en dessous. Au dessus la maison était louée. Il y a une petite supérette dans le village. Les randos au départ de Meribel sont très agréables , on peut aussi aller marcher dans le secteur.

En anglais, j'ai une phrase pour ça " it fills your soul " ... ça remplit ton âme ' parfait pour un café tôt le matin pour commencer la journée. Que du bonheur

Le chalet est spacieux, magnifiquement décoré. La vue est merveilleuse et les petit-déjeuné pris sur la terrasse restent inoubliables. Un vrai havre de paix dans une ambiance cocooning, au coin de la cheminée ou l'on se réchauffe après une belle journée de ski. Seul problème le temps très vite :) ! Une mention spéciale à Mary qui s'assure de votre bien être et répond toujours très rapidement à vos questions. Grand merci à elle.

A beautiful apartment with amazing views

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this cosy spacious garden apartment which was a joy to return to after a day skiing! The property was clean, comfortable and very well equipped with stunning views. Mary was very helpful both before & during our stay giving us a lot of information which made our week so enjoyable. A very peaceful location & we did like Les Allues and the restaurants we visited there. Transport to the slopes was good & we personally enjoyed the gondola each day but buses were very efficient too. Thank you again Mary, for a lovely week. We shall certainly recommend it to our friends and would love to return.

A lovely,well-equipped apartment for 4 people.

Chalet Champetre’s Garden Apartment was the perfect base for our skiing holiday in the 3 Valleys: warm, cosy and comfortable with amazing views across the valley every morning as we drew the curtains. The apartment was very well-equipped so catering for ourselves was easy. The beds were large and comfortable. There was a log fire to add to the cosy atmosphere. It was a bit of a trek to the Olympe bubble so we used the car to transport skis and boots, but the quiet, peaceful location of the property more than made up for that. Transport to Méribel from Les Allues is simple, either using the bubble lift or the regular free bus service. There is a ski hire shop and supermarket a short walking distance from the apartment. This was one of the nicest places we have stayed in - we wanted to come back for next Christmas but it was already booked! Understandably so!

A beautiful Chalet you will return to.

The Garden apartment was a total oasis, the attention to detail was amazing the views down the valley were awesome, it was an absolute pleasure to sit on the Balcony and watch the weather over the mountains change while enjoying a breakfast or dinner. We enjoyed staying so much we only ate out one evening. on a more official basis: the listing is acurate facilities and equipment were beyond expectations property was clean and crisp we were well looked after by the owner and we would recommend to anyone. Our break was a summer walking water-sport week we ate at a local Pizza restaurant which was good in Les allures for water-sports we used France-raft and their instructors were excellent, though there is a rafting company closer in Moutiers you pass them as you ascend to the Chalet. We took a trip to Lake Annecy which was excellent for a summer swim paddle board or waterski. the area of Méribel and the surrounding three valleys are all set up for mountain bike enthusiasts and I can recommend you try this, they even have electric mountain bikes for people like me. For good value I would recommend doing the weekly lift pass currently at 55 euros which is cheaper that two separate day accesses to the lifts for hiking. for skiing the village has a system stopping at Les Allures which is the second point on the lift from Brides de le Bain. There is upgrades going on in 2018 to improve this lift system and add to its stops. there is a free bus service running all over the mountain and I would recommend a trip to the thermal spa in Brides de le Bain to relax after a hard days walking/skiing/swimming. If you are going to ski from the Chalet I would recommend you get lockers at the lift or up in Méribel to avoid lengthy walks in boots or just drive to the lift or bus and park, the parking seems adequate but this is in summer when its less crowded. Overall fantastic if the chalet gets a hot tub we won't leave
