Great location, easy walking distance to the castle and lots of good restaurants. Everything we needed was provided and a nice starter supply of groceries to get us going. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

We absolutely loved our stay at Rose Cottage! Leading up to the date Gregor maintained communication and provided any information we needed. He helped us with our luggage; dropping into town for us to catch a bus to our next destination. We met Gregor before we left. He was lovely and cheerful and more than happy to help. We only wished we had read the compendium before the last day. We would've considered Gregor to take us on local tours. The beds were comfy and rooms were cosy.

Hi Grace, It was lovely to meet you and glad you enjoyed your stay. If you're up on Skye and can leave the kids with your folks, go to Elgol and get a boat £50 over to Loch Coruisk and hike up Sgurr Na Stri (467 meters) - internet it and you'll see what I mean.

Location was not convenient. Not close to any venues. Loose floorboards.Railing was coming off the wall Mouldy walls and ceiling. Carpet needs a good shampooing. Nothing like the description.

Lovely Cottage

We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely new decorated cottage, it had everything to make you feel at home and was very comfortable. The location was great, right on the door step to all the local amenities including lovely places to eat. I would recommend highly and have already booked to stay again.

Great central location

Really enjoyed staying in Inverness. The property is very central and everything in the city was easily walkable to. The property was clean and had everything we needed for our short break. Would recommend this property to anyone visiting Inverness.

Cottage is convenient to everything in downtown Inverness, and Gregor is a wonderful host. If we return to Scotland, this cottage will be our go to place to stay. Cheers!!!

Rose Cottage

Loved my stay at Rose Cottage. Gregor was a great host...even left us 'bits and bobs' in the fridge for our arrival. The cottage is in such a convenient location so we had no trouble getting around without a car. Would definitely stay again!

Great Place to Stay

We stayed at the Rose Cottage in July 2025 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Gregor answered every question we had in a very timely manner and even gave us a ride to the train station on our last day. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. It was also very helpful to have a washer and dryer to use in the middle of our trip. Thank you Gregor!
