We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Attack. Although we were notified before arriving that we would be staying on the third floor as opposed to the fourth with wraparound deck, which we had very much looked forward to using, it turned out to be a blessing in disguise as the elevator does not go to the fourth floor (which we were well aware of when we booked) . We found that midway into any trip, luggage seems to become heavier. Alessio graciously discounted the cost of the third floor apartment as a result of the change, and it really worked out beautifully for us. The third floor was spacious and had everything we needed with a wonderful view of Piazza Roma from the living room and of the side street from the master bedroom and bathroom. There was plenty of hot water for showers and the apartment was very clean and laid out well The location was absolutely ideal. When you exited the apartment building and made a left, you were literally steps from Piazza Del Popolo- a 45 second walk. Turning right when exiting the building led you to Piazza Roma (with both a small market minutes walk away and a café with fabulous gelato on the Piazza ) and where on several days there were outdoor markets. It was a three minute walk to Piazza Arringo.Alessio was a very responsive host. I had a slight problem with the washer door. He appeared within three minutes of my contacting him, addressed it, and I was able to do a load of wash as planned. We would highly recommend The Attack.

A great apartment in an excellent location.

We loved the apartment. The terrace afforded great views all around. The location was excellent. It was close to all the main sights, yet at the same time very quiet. Parking was relatively convenient—it was a short walk (though uphill), and cost only 2 euros/day. The apartment was well-equipped, though it would have been great if there is a bigger coffee maker—there was only a small “moka” so we had to wash it in the middle of breakfast in order to make more. But, all in all, it was a great stay.

Fantastic Apartment/Host

We highly recommend this spacious, clean, completely updated and modernized apartment in the very heart of Ascoli Picena, in the Marche region of Italy. The host, Alessio, is prompt in responding and super helpful with everything from parking to restaurant recommendations. The location is superb, literally steps from two of the major piazzas in the city, walking distance to everything you would want to do. We chose to park our rental car on the street nearby -- it was cheap, easy, and safe. You can drive your car right to the apartment to unload your luggage, then drive to the parking where it costs 1-2 euros per day. It is a five-minute walk back to the apartment. There is a speedy elevator that takes you to the third floor; the apartment is on the fourth floor, so you have to walk one flight. The outdoor wrap-around deck affords beautiful views of the piazza and the mountains in the distance. After having stayed in a 12th century castle in Greve, we especially appreciated the MODERN PLUMBING! If you are considering a visit to Ascoli Picena, we highly recommend this delightful city and this comfortable, spacious, clean apartment.

Nice accommodations

My family and I appreciate Alessio’s patience with our schedule. Our flight was delayed and had problems with the rental car in Rome which delayed our drive to Ascoli. He was kind enough to let us check in at 10pm. His apartment had everything we needed.
