We had a great stay. The house was in a great location and was well stocked. The pool was lovely and there were plenty of spaces on the property for spending time together with your fellow guests.

Great girls trip!

This property was amazing! It was perfect for our weekend girls trip. We had plenty of room to relax and have our own areas and the property was clean. The backyard and pool are beautiful. I hope to be back in the future!

Beautiful House in a Quiet Beach Neighborhood

Immaculate house just as described and shown on the website. Beautiful in-ground pool and beach access right across the street. Very attentive host, easy to communicate through email, phone or text. Had a wonderful a wonderful stay.

Lovely Stay for Two Families

Check-in was smooth, house was clean, host had great communication. We did a lot of cooking and they had everything we needed. FYI- upstairs bar TV needs a Roku, etc, which I’m sure many people travel with these days but we didn’t. My only complaint would be that the king and double mattresses left something to be desired. The bay/sound beach was great for sunset walks but not as nice for swimming as nearby Cape May beaches. The included beach tags were a nice touch!

Spacious house, proximity to bay beach

We loved our stay at the house! There was ample space for our extended family group of 9. We especially enjoyed the backyard and pool and proximity to the quiet bay beach. It was also very nice that beach chairs, umbrellas, and 4 beach tags were provided for guests. Listing photos were accurate, though it would have been nice to know before booking that guests are responsible for laundering and folding all sheets and towels that are used (or pay extra for linen service). We ended up bringing our own sheets and beach towels because of this policy. Make sure to bring shampoo/conditioner (it was not provided) and be prepared to sign a short-term rental agreement in addition to the VRBO booking.

BUYER BEWARE!!!

The night we checked in, it was obvious it had not been cleaned from the previous tenant. A lot of long black hairs in the master bathroom, toothpaste on the faucet and in the sink, an old bar of soap on the floor of the master bath shower, and just a general state of uncleanliness. It was late, so I took pictures for proof and proceeded to clean the house before the rest of my family arrived. When we left, we left the place much cleaner than we had found it. About a week after we had rented the house, the owner notified me that there had been damage to the back deck railing. From photos the owner sent me, I recognized that there had been furniture in front of the damage when we were there. I told her there was no way we had done that damage. I went on to inform her of the condition of the home when we got there and sent her the pictures. She did not refund my security deposit and since then she has been non-responsive to me. I have filed a complaint with Home Away.

Thank you for your summary. We strive to provide the best service to our home. To clarify again, we were not notified of any cleaninliness issues until after the issue with the burnt railing was communicated back to the guest. We have used the same cleaners for years and have always heard from our guests that they were impressed with the cleanliness. On the listing, we recommend that all guests report any issues within the first 24 hours of their stay so that we can immediately rectify any issues. Unfortunately we were not notified of the cleanliness problems until well after the guests stay. To clarify again, only $150.00 of your refund was held and used to pay for the replacement, of the burnt railing, which was very generous. The other $350.00 was refunded. After each guest, I require the cleaners to report any issues, damage or missing items. I also pay my maintanance person to inspect the premises inside and out for any damage and missing items after each guest vacates. And in some cases my husband and I will also inspect. The railing was in a very open and conspicoud space on the first floor deck and is immediately visible. We take great strides to care for our home and ask and expect that all our guests do the same.

Beautiful Beach House

This was our second year staying here. The house is spacious and has everything you need for a week at the beach. The decks have nice outdoor furniture for sitting or sharing a meal outside. The shed has beach chairs, lawn games, etc. It is close to restaurants, Cape May and Wildwood. We saw dolphins on the Whale Watch and enjoyed swimming in the pool. Lidia was easy to communicate with. I highly recommend this house. We will be back!

Family beach trip

The location was really peaceful with everything you need just around the corner, including a deli, seafood restaurant, pizza place, ice-cream, and even an escape room. The house was perfect for my family, because of the three bathrooms and five bedrooms, and we spent every night relaxing together in the family room. The pool is super clean, and the three-foot area was popular with our shorter family members. All around great visit!

Friends reunion

Rented the house for a reunion for all of our high school friends and couldn't have been happier with the house. Everything was perfect and clean. The house itself was beautiful and everything worked and was functional. Lydia was very easy to communicate with and check-in/check-out was super simple. Great weekend overall!

Great house for beach vacation

This was our 2nd year. The house is perfect for our group of 7 adults and 3 kids. Lots of room and places to hang out together, with a beautiful beach on the Delaware Bay right across the street. We had a wonderful time and hope to come back next year.

Family Vacation

We had an amazing 5 days in this clean, large, beautiful home with our adult children and young grandchildren. The bedrooms were big and spacious as were the 3 full bathrooms. We loved that we could walk to the beach and spent hours reading, playing in the sand and taking walks along the beach. We enjoyed meals on both the upper and lower decks. My 2 year old grandson played in the yard each evening. The shed is filled with everything you need for the beach as well as balls and games for the backyard. The outdoor shower was great for rinsing off the sand after a day at the beach. Cape May beaches and shopping/restaurants are a short 15 min drive. We liked being away from the crowds but being close enough to drive in for a few hours to shop or get food. This was the perfect house for us!

Great house and location by the bay

We had a wonderful long weekend at this house. The layout was perfect for our group of 10, with lots of space for hanging out together. Loved the decks and proximity to the beach. Hope to come back again.

Great stay😊

This was a beautiful home in a very nice area close to Cape May and Wildwood. It is a short walk to a beautiful bay beach. The sunsets are gorgeous!!!! The home is well stocked with paper towels, toilet paper, etc. the home was large enough for our family of 6, 4 adults and two teenagers. The only issue we encountered was the towels were left in the laundry and dryer by previous guests. We alerted the owner and she was very kind and apologetic. It didn’t influence our stay as we brought our own linens. Thank you for sharing your home with us:)
