Maison Trillium près du parc provincial Sandbanks

Notre maison (Trillium House) est une ferme patrimoniale de 6 chambres magnifiquement restaurée vers 1811. Il est situé sur une route de campagne calme entourée de champs d'agriculteurs avec vue sur le lac East. Nous sommes parfaitement situés au cœur de la région viticole du comté de Prince Edward, à quelques minutes des plages du parc provincial Sandbank, des galeries d'art, des antiquaires et du célèbre cinéma Mustang drive-in. Notre lieu familial est idéal pour les réunions de famille, les couples ou les retraites.
Location à la semaine uniquement pour les mois de juillet et août. Nous demandons à tous les locataires de signer notre contrat de location avant la date de location.

Trillium House is a beautiful property sitting on a large lot. It can accommodate up to 10 people. There were eight of us, all adults. Five nicely appointed bedrooms, plus another room in the loft offers two additional small beds. Two living rooms and a closed in porch offer plenty of spaces for relaxing. There also is a nice size deck with two patio tables and chairs as well as a bbq.A large table occupies the centre of the well appointed kitchen where all eight of us enjoyed breakfast and dinner. Prince Edward County is beautiful, it covers a large area and there are many places to visit.Everyone in our group would recommend Trillium House. We all enjoyed our stay there.

We loved every minute of our stay at this beautiful house. The photos don't do justice to this magnificient property. A lot of attention was spent on every small detail. This house tells a story...There was plenty of space for everyone to eat, talk, nap and play games.Hosts were wonderful and anticipated our every need.We even saw the most impressive thunderstorm with lightning showing the lake in the middle of the night.We cross our fingers it will be available for our next stay.

Great stay

The house was spacious and clean, and perfect for our group of 8 (4 adults, 4 kids). The big yard was also great for outdoor running-around. Location is excellent to be so close to the dunes and beaches.

Friends Weekend

Trillium House provided all the space and more for our stay. We were 7 adults and we thoroughly enjoyed the rustic, but comfortable charm of the place. We had initial concerns with there only being 1 shower, but in the end it proved to be a very minor issue. We would definitely consider staying here again.

We enjoy coming back!

This is a good house for two families getting together. There are many bedrooms and a variety of different rooms, meaning people can always find a quiet spot to curl up. The kitchen is well stocked for large groups with lots of bowls and large pots. We really enjoy the back yard and the proximity to Sandbanks for getting outside. A great place to stay.

Wonderful family gathering in country setting

It is easy to see that the owners care when you enter the house. They have carefully chosen antiques and decor to suit this beautiful victorian farmhouse. We were able to bring 8 adults and one 4 year old together for a weekend and comfortably eat, sleep and interact - despite the cooler temperatures keeping us inside more that we wanted. Different sitting areas abound for quiet or lots of conversation and all the beds were cozy.

Family celebration for mom's 90th birthday

We had family coming from different parts of Ontario to celebrate a great milestone birthday. The home was perfect with plenty of space inside to comfortably accommodate our needs. The home was very welcoming with subtle touches of the great country home it is. The rooms were spacious, comfortable & well appointed. The back yard was absolutely perfect with so much outdoor space to run, play and take in the natural beauty of the peaceful countryside. We will definitely keep this place in mind for future family gatherings!!!

Wonderful stay in Cherry Valley

We were a group of five adult couples who needed a property that had five separate bedrooms, and we fell on this listing which accommodated that requirement (that tends to be difficult to find!). We all really loved the place. It's quite a large home with many rooms to spend time in. The outdoor area is very spacious, allowing for many outdoor activities. We loved having the fire pit and wood at our disposal. We thoroughly appreciated being a 10-minute drive from Sandbanks beach. The only comment we wanted to make was the fact that there's only one shower, which caused a lineup for showering after beach day. We would highly recommend this place!

Room for all in this beautiful country home

I and my four friends truly enjoyed our November stay at Trillium House. We found a meticulously restored country house with well-appointed bedrooms for each of us. We often congregated in the cosy front room, which we used as a parlour in every sense of word. We particularly enjoyed the wood stove, even when closing the door tightly after adding wood proved problematic The country kitchen was equipped with a large dining table and everything we needed to prepare meals large and small. We enjoyed several hours in the comfortably furnished but cool back room watching movies on the large screen TV. Easy access to Sandbanks Provincial Park and other lookout points made day hikes fun. We had lots of space to park our four cars, with both Picton and Bloomfield within easy driving distance for shopping and restaurants. This was a beautiful home where the five of us could enjoy good company, good food and good wine!

superbes vacances

Nous avons séjourné au Trillium House du 14-21 juillet 2019 et nous avons passé une excellente semaine. La maison était parfaite pour 3 petites familles de 4 personnes, bien située à 5 min en auto de la plage Outlet. Le terrain est tellement grand que nous avons joué au soccer/baseball/volleyball sans jamais manquer de place. Il y avait un livre d'info et il était bien à jour. Je vous recommande cet endroit pour vos vacances sans problème! Sophie

Wow! Just spent 3 days for a reunion of high school friends at this wonderful establishment! We were 5 and though we've know each other for over 55years , it was great each having their own room..we loved have morning coffee in the sun room to chatting by the outdoor fire...we took a day trip into Picton and had the weather been a little warmer for older ladies - we probably would have taken advantage of the near by beach...This place was a GEM!

Late October Getaway

The Trillium House is absolutely perfect in so many ways. It’s quiet, comfortable, cosy, spacious, clean, close to everything in the county, has a well-appointed kitchen, several eating areas and useful information on site. Our hosts were helpful with every aspect of our planning and were available when we needed help. We highly recommend the Trillium House and look forward to another stay there.

Fabulous stay

We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay for the weekend. The house was very clean and it included all the amenities. The amount of space with large bedrooms, a big kitchen table and lots of spaces to sit and relax was perfect for our family gathering!

Weekend family house.

Owners very easy to deal with and very accommodating. Allowed us to park camping trailer on side of the property for extra family member with newborn for privacy and there own space. Also allowed us to host large family dinner 25-30 people witch the house easily accommodate.

Wine tour 2022

The property was great and suited our needs of 4 couples getting together for weekend of winery tours. Well equipped kitchen, lots of space to spread out and sunny deck on the back for breakfast made for an very enjoyable weekend.
