Kingfisher Barn, pour 10 + 2 personnes (5 chambres)

Kingfisher, du nom des martins-pêcheurs que nous voyons de temps en temps sur les douves clôturées, a un porche qui mène à travers une porte stable à un salon / salle à manger décloisonné avec une table à manger, 12 chaises, une chaise haute, des canapés confortables (un dont un canapé-lit) et un poêle à bois pour les froides soirées d'hiver. Il y a une grande télévision à écran plat avec TNT, lecteur DVD et home cinéma avec son surround. Il y a une cuisine entièrement équipée avec cuisinière, four micro-ondes et laveuse / sécheuse ainsi qu'un grand réfrigérateur-congélateur de style américain pour votre commodité. Il y a deux chambres doubles en suite avec lits zippés et link au rez-de-chaussée et également une toilette séparée. A l'étage, il y a deux lits super king-size et une autre chambre spacieuse avec fermeture éclair et lien. Ces trois chambres sont facilement assez grandes pour ajouter un lit zed si nécessaire que nous fournissons ainsi qu'un lit de voyage.

3 granges attenantes pour animaux de compagnie ont été converties avec sympathie pour offrir un hébergement spacieux et confortable. Nous fournissons le wifi gratuit, le chauffage central au fuel, des cuisinières, des jardins clos et privés, un parking privé et des barbecues intégrés. Il n'y a pas de marches pour entrer dans les propriétés et certaines chambres doubles avec salle de bains au rez-de-chaussée pour ceux qui peuvent avoir du mal à marcher. Nous sommes heureux que les propriétaires d'animaux promènent leurs chiens en laisse autour de la ferme où il y a de grandes opportunités pour observer les oiseaux. Les granges sont situées sur la ferme elle-même avec vue sur la campagne et la belle église Sculthorpe sur l'allée.

Fabulous barn

Loved the property perfect for all our daughters and partners to have their own bathrooms. Nice social area to eat, cook and play games.

Great property in great location

Great property for staycation. Bedrooms all really good size with comfortable beds. The zip lock twin bed set up worked perfect for us. Living space is great and works really well. There was an issue with the oven which impacted us being able to eat all together so hoping the owners can get that fixed for future rentals asap.

Brilliant house

Property ideal for both couples and family we did a mixture. House beautifully kept and equipped. Good location for all coastal resorts, lovely garden so peaceful and safe. Would be ideal for all year, kitchen had everything you could wish for. Bedrooms very large lots of storage space, fans all rooms. All in all a great holiday would go back.

40th celebrations

Having had our holiday in Poland cancelled at late notice we booked and added the hot tub, we really cannot fault this accommodation.... everything you can think of has been catered for, an idyllic escape from reality. Can’t wait to return with our staffy this time as the gardens are really secure and we regretted not bringing him with us this time!!! Thanks so much

Half term holiday with attitude

Wonderful atrtactive child and dog proof barn conversion surrounded by bits of moat and wonderful farmland. Close to an interesting church and a village play area for smaller children with a zip wire. On the way to the coast is a microbrewery!! . You are close to so many interesting sites. We crabbed at Wells, went to the Visitors Centre at Saltmarsh and the stony beach at Cley, walked miles along Holkham beach where the children dipped in the cold North Sea water. Even the 5 year old enjoyed the 8Km walk at Sheringham where dogs can be free off a lead in places. The welcoming gifts at the Barn was lavish. We enjoyed the wine and chocs and after a long journey the other items were well appreciated. Very thoughtful owners who give immediate response to queries. The baby ducks on the moat kept the smaller children amused but the dogs had to be well restrained!!! The Games Room was a boon when it rained. I even had a chance at 74 to show I could still play pingpong competitively!! Thanks come from all of us 8 visitors with 2 dogs....

Mums 80th Birthday Celebration

We had a fantastic time and as we had all 3 barns we felt luxuriously spacious, extremely comfortable and while having lovely meals all together there was time and space to cluster into smaller gatherings. Everything was well thought out, very clean and well equipped. We also had the Sat night meal catered by Mange Tout which was excellent quality and value.We would definitely go back but its already booked. Thanks for adding the perfect benue to our lovely family celebrations. All the staff I have corresponded with have also been incredibly helpful. My only slight confusion was the system for payment as this was complicated and felt quite automated a little like the request for this review coming 3 times and so I presume its computer generated and as far as some of us are concerned personal is best Jo B

Beautiful cottages, beautiful location,

Fantastic for our group of 30. Wonderful space to dine altogether. Very clean and well maintained, the owner was very helpful from booking to greeting us. The cottages were lovely and spacious, with en suites to every room. The welcome pack was first class and included bacon, eggs, wine and delicious sweets. Never had that before. I would recommend these cottages to everyone. Well placed for beaches etc we would like to come next year please

I am Tony Pointer, farmer and now self catering accommodation owner aswell. After transfering the old grain barns and pig yards into my name in 2007, it has been my task to make these barns into the accommodation that our own family would be happy to stay in, and i think with my wifes help we have succeeded. I also enjoy meeting all those that stay in the barns and taking on their comments about the barns, which fill me with the confidence that we have got most things right(if not always the weather!).

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

Having been born and brought up,and being the third generation on this family run farm, it was my ambition to convert these old barns which were starting to fall down. I felt that entertaining people instead of mucking out pigs was a better option for the future after going through the difficulties brought on by foot and mouth twice and swine flu outbreaks in the countryside.
There are so many lovely things about the North Norfolk coast that i find it hard to tear myself away from this area, and i hope those that stay here will take home some life long memories.

These barns are built so that each barn can contain each family seperately, but also if all barns are booked together the people staying can enjoy the group feeling, as we can hire out marquees and bouncy castles especially for the warm weather periods.
There is ample parking space and a large grassed area at the end of the barn for all to play on.
