Our stay was wonderful! The property was perfect! The view was amazing! One thing to note, this is a perfect space is you are looking for a beautiful view in a beautiful space. Argegno is a smaller town and uber/cabs can be hard to come by in the evening, so arrange for transport ahead of time. If you are looking to be in the action this is not for you, however if you want a quiet beautiful stay on lake Como - I highly recommend

We absolutely LOVED this place and will recommend it to all our friends! The views were spectacular, Argegno was much more quaint and charming than busy Bellagio. The house was clean and a very close uphill/downhill walk to wonderful restaurants. The Rent All Como staff was very communicative and incredibly helpful and available. The pictures were everything we hoped for and more! We LOVED it here! Just make sure you’re comfortable driving the tight, narrow, mountainous streets and this is the perfect Lake Como experience for you!

Our stay at Villa Castello was fantastic! The house easily sleeps 8, the bedrooms are great and the view is spectacular. There is excellent walking access directly into town via nearby stone stairs & pathway. It was extremely convenient, only takes about 10min, and we used it every day. It's a big hill but even my 70 year-old parents could manage. Argegno is a beautiful, quaint little town. Overall, I highly recommend!

The Villa Castello was a great family stay. It is about a 12 minute challenging, very steep walk up the hill from the lakefront. The views from the deck were a spectacular reward, worthy of every step! We did not rent a car, so we did need to Uber up with the luggage. Four levels of bedrooms offered privacy for the entire family. Unfortunately the air conditioner was not working in one bedroom and it was quite warm.

Gorgeous home perfectly perched on top of the hillside

We couldn’t be happier with our stay at Villa Castello. From the ease of booking to the information provided before and during our stay. It was big enough for our family of varying ages. The walk to the town square is very quick, although the walk back up is very steep, not for anyone with difficulty walking, or even a stroller would be difficult. We ended up taking mostly taxis because we only stayed for two nights and had not planned well around other modes of transportation. The boat schedule is quite sparse and we did not explore taking the bus. Renting a car might be helpful for longer stays. The kids loved the jacuzzi and the common areas were perfect for the few hours we actually spent in the house.
