What an amazing villa! Situated out in the countryside providing peace and quiet, yet only a short drive to some stunning beaches and local places of interest.The property had everything we needed for chilling by the pool, hosting sumptuous BBQs, and watching the stars come out.We recommend a few visits to the Cetina Gorge for White Water rafting and zip lining, and we loved our day on the open seas, island hopping from Split and exploring hidden bays.We absolutely loved this holiday and we highly recommend this villa.

Wonderful stay

Great house and the most helpful, friendly and welcoming host Josčo. The pool and pool area was really nice. House and outdoor area was really nice and clean. Great BBQ and outdoor kitchen. We had a great week and hope to come back soon.

Fantastic villa, with all you needed. Outside area was great and pool a good size. The entrance quite tight on driveway, worth getting premium insurance if you hire a car.

The villa is incredible, clean, beautiful views and a home away from home. Joško was an amazing host and went above and beyond to make sure we had the best holiday. We feel in love with Croatia and cannot wait to come back. Would highly recommend staying in Joško villas. The location was also perfect.

Cool and peaceful stay!

Great place for the week with family, lots of space for the kids, clean and tidy pool, comfortable beds. Very welcome owner. House itself in the middle of green valley, very quiet and safe place for kids. Close to Omis (10min by car). Good base for active tourist looking for the rest after intensive exploration of the local attractions. My family was absolutely satisfied.

Fabulous Villa & Location

This is a fabulous villa in a beautiful peaceful location. The villa was very clean and had everything you would need as well as extremely comfortable - home away from home. The outside area and pool were great with beautiful views of the mountains and it was lovely to be able to pick fresh vegetables and herbs from the garden! Joško and family were wonderful hosts and booking and communication was excellent. We had a wonderful holiday and would definitely come back - thank you Joško and Blazenka.

Family Get Away

This beautiful property was without fault and Josko and family were wonderful hosts, being in touch and on hand if needs be but allowing of space. My three children loved both the inside space for relaxing as well as the outdoors area - the fact there was sufficient space for garden activities and a trampoline as well as the pool was superb. For me what made it extra special was the peace and calm of the remote location, however a restaurant was within walking distance and the town only 10 minutes away by car. Inside facilities and equipment were second to none also and everything is of a very high standard. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Amazing outstanding stay!!!

It was amazing experience to stay in this villa. We enjoyed it so much! It was very quiet area. Everything was clean and exactly as was described. Beautiful swimming pool and surrounding area with umbrellas, lounge chairs and sitting area with garden full of locally grown vegetables all that you allowed to eat. Very clean and fully stocked kitchen and bathrooms, comfortable beds. We had a feeling of real Europe there, sleeping well with open windows during the night.. 15 min to drive to Omis and 20-30 min to Split. You definitely need a car to move around the area. Please ask the owner for local restaurant: tasty and delicious food!

Lovely Villa

The villa was perfect for 8 adults! The villa is beautiful inside and has any amenity you might need. The pool and patio area was very nice too. It is about 35 minutes from Split which was very easy to navigate. There was a really bad storm on the day we were suppose to go to Hvar. The ferries were cancelled, so we happened upon the town of Omis. Super cute town with a tower built into the mountain that was built in the 1500's. Highly recommend this little town and the best part is it is only about 15 minutes from the villa. The owners were fabulous and very easy to communicate with. Thank you for a wonderful vacation getaway!

Perfect for both adventure and relaxation

There was plenty of room for our group consisting of six adults and three children. We enjoyed our stay very much. The place was really tidy and well-equipped and Josko and Blazenka couldn't have been more kind and thoughtful hosts. When they found out that we are big consumers of coffee (like all the full-grown Finns!) they brought us a filter coffee maker alongside the coffee-capsule machine. They also surprised us bringing a couple of extra sun loungers. It was nice, too, that we were allowed to freely use the vegetables growing around the Villa. Talking about the surrounding of the Villa: it is amazing! We cycled and hiked a lot. There were couple of little bit cold and windy days which were perfect for those activities. Other side of the coin was that the pool water was a bit chilly.

Tolles Haus umgeben von Natur

Unser Aufenthalt in der Villa Donari war fantastisch! Das Haus liegt toll gelegen in einem Tal mit Blick auf die Bergkette. Perfekt für alle die, die Natur und Ruhe lieben. Wir waren 7 Erwachsene und haben die große Küche, den Grill und den Pool genossen. Die Betten und die Anzahl der Bäder waren genau richtig. Zu Fuß konnten wir ins Dorf laufen wo ein leckeres Restaurant ist. Das Meer und der Einkauf sind nur 15 Minuten entfernt. Josko und seine Frau waren perfekte Gastgeber! Ich kann die Villa Donari nur empfehlen!

Underbart hus med en fantastisk trädgård

Ett underbart hus som överträffade våra förväntningar. Väldigt hjälpsam värd som alltid fanns tillgänglig och som rekommenderade en fantastisk restaurang i närheten. Huset var rent och fräscht och med en underbar trädgård som passade vår 2-åring perfekt. Eftermiddagarna vid poolen var helt fantastiska! Vi kan verkligen rekommendera detta hus!

Lovely villa in fantastic rural location

Villa was fantastic, and we really enjoyed our stay. Joško was a great, friendly host and went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect - nice Touch is the veg garden to help yourself to tomatoes etc .... we loved the rural location in the mountains! Villa is not over looked by any others. Total peace! Really nice restaurant within walking distance, not to be missed (also kid friendly, even though not mentioned on menu).... all in all perfect :)

Excellent stay in Croatia

Very easy booking and communication with Josko was excellent before and during our stay. The villa is a lovely home and very clean and tidy with all amenities you’d expect and we were all very comfortable indeed. Location requires a car but was very easy to get to Omis, Split and Krka. Josko was an excellent host - thank you .

Located at the bottom of a very small uneven track. Only one air conditioning unit on landing , bedrooms have fans. Outside furniture dated and well used. Otherwise a lovely villa.

Beautiful villa with a super host

We had a perfect stay in Villa Donari. It is a good place for doing daytrips to Split, Trogir, rafting at the Cetinariver and fort Klis. We even went to Bosnia to visit Mostar and the Kravica waterfalls. The house is very clean and the communication with Joško (the host) is perfect. There is also a vegetable garden where you can pick the vegetables for dinner. The swimmingpool is very nice to cool down. Thank you again Joško and wife

Fin bolig og plass

Fin bolig med romslige rom, bad til hvert soverom, og flott uteområde. Perfekt størrelse på bassenget. Nydelig å ligge i hengekøyen eller på solsengene mens barna badet. Vi koste oss veldig. Ca 10 min kjøring ned til Omis med strender butikker osv. Vi kommer gjerne igjen en annen gang:)

wonderful vacation, wonderful place

Wow. We had vacation from our dreams. Villa is simply beautiful with everything you need. So clean and comfortable. I didnt slept so good in years :-). Pool area with bbq, garden and private view on mountains ... astonishing. Full privacy, deep in the green hills but just few minutes drive from sea, river, mountains, cities Omis and Split, numeruos villages... Thank you Josko and Blazenka for your kindness and hospitality ... and we are coming back soon :-).
