The apartment (4th Floor) was a great location and very comfortable. The kitchen and bathrooms had been remodeled nicely. Living room couch was a little worn but updated with colorful new throw pillows. Balcony looks over Brunswick Centre Shopping Mall, but not too noisy with windows open.

This flat is in the perfect location, walkable to everything, and near easy public transportation. Our family of three was extremely comfortable, and we were so grateful to be able to do laundry and cook.

Really great stay! We loved the location and the shops and restaurants around the apartment complex were so handy. The complex was used to film some scenes for Andor so that was fun too!

Mark is perhaps the best host I've ever experienced; booking and all questions answer succinctly and immediately. Flat is fully equipped, very comfortable, conveniently located. One of my very best vacation-rental experiences ever.

Loved the location - Russell Square tube across the street, and we took advantage of the shops/restaurants on the ground level every day of our stay. Host was responsive to our questions and gave us advice when we found out the trains don’t run on Boxing Day. Self checkin was easy by following the detailed instructions provided. The only thing that didn’t work was the microwave - all other amenities were as described.

Excellent location right across from Russell Square tube station, and Mark the host was available and helpful on the phone. There are some drawbacks to be noted, however, and should be addressed by owner or manager: the lift is out of order until October 2026, and since the flat is on the 4th floor, this should have been indicated in the description of the property. (There is an alternative lift but it is not nearby, and we never actually found it.) The television does not work properly--signal comes and goes. The balcony should be cleaned up, and open to guests--would add to the place's appeal. Instructions to the induction stove would be useful for the uninitiated.

A successful family reunion

The apartment itself was simple but well supplied and suited out needs. It took us awhile to figure out how to balance the heat.The location was amazing: Just opposite the Russell Tube station (and you can take the Picadilly line to and from Heathrow without any changes - just some steps between the lift and the platform; a shopping center around the corner with an excellent supermarket; lots of places in walking distance, including the British Museum and the Postal Museum. Best of all for our grandchild was the Coram's Field Park-only for adults with children!We were a family of four adults and one 2 year old.Our host was available, responsive and helpful.

Excellent stay in Bloomsbury Sept 2024

Stayed in apartment for 12 days in September 2024 with 6 adults. Outstanding support from host. Location is excellent: directly across from convenient Underground station and close to numerous restaurants and shopping. Apartment was as shown on the website. Appliances seemed new and all worked very well. Main bathroom is large and in excellent shape. Water heater instructions were very clear. Second bathroom is small with no shower. Huge living area really helped for our 6 adults. Single futon in 2nd bedroom was not adequate for adult but may be fine for child. Overall, an excellent experience.

Great Vacay Home Base

With a location across the street from the Russell Square station, the location couldn't be beaten. The Bloomsbury area buzzes with energy, but not too busy like, say, the the Trafalgar Square area. Downstairs from the flat were 3 grocery stores and plenty of restaurants (including a Starbucks). While the building itself comes across a little dated, the apartment was clean and well supplied, with a new and fully-equipped kitchen. My wife says the decor could have used a women's touch, but it had everything. There is also a balcony accessible from every room that overlooks the shopping area, which was kind of nice. There is a nice pub right across the street from the building (Marquis Cornwallis). The wife and I went down and had a pint with the locals on our last night, which was nice. If there was one thing I thought could be improved was the internet speed. But 99% of people won't even notice the difference (we had about 4 or 5 devices accessing it, including a Roku streaming TV shows, so perhaps we taxed the system more than we should have. Mark established contact as soon as we made the booking and quickly answered any question we had. He made check-in easy and also checked in on us mid-trip just to ensure everything was okay. All-in-all, flat, location, and management gets the old thumbs-up from us! 👍

The apartment is in a great location and has a nice, remodeled kitchen. The building is run down and in need of many repairs. The elevator was not functioning when we were there. Bedrooms, funishings, windows etc in need of updates.
