Corner Cottage

An absolutely amazing stay at Corner Cottage. Everything was first class from the warmth and communication of the owner, the ease of booking and choice of property with ERC to the facilities inside and location of the Cottage. Everything you could possibly need for a holiday with the dogs is available including the option to bring your own bedding if wishing dogs to sleep on the bed. Cottage is in a lovely quiet location but with a very short drive to beaches, cafes, pubs and a couple of local towns where you can find supermarkets. We enjoyed cosy evenings in front of the fireplace as well as long beach walks and couldn't fault anything or ask for anything more. 5 stars from us and the dogs!

We love Corner Cottage

This is our third time here, it’s great for us and super for the dogs. It’s very handy for the beach, the garden is safe and lovely, we especially like the swing. The property is very extremely equipped and comfortable.

Great cottage and fantastic welcome!

Corner cottage is beautiful - clean, bright and well equipped with everything both humans and dogs could want. We were made to feel so welcome by both East Ruston Cottages and the owner. Communication was very easy with lots of information but not pushy. The digital information pack was the best I’ve seen full of great ideas to help you make the most of your stay from beginning to end. Claudia the owner made us so welcome taking in and putting away shopping for us before we arrived and leaving fabulous welcome goodies for both humans and dogs including delicious homemade brownies! The area is lovely. Very close to miles of quiet, sandy beaches which the dogs absolutely loved. We were also privileged to see the seals. There are lots of easy to access walks and places to visit as well as an abundance of fantastic places to buy or eat fresh local food.

Wonderful Cottage

The cottage is in a lovely quiet location, with just the odd passing car and perfectly dark at night for star gazing! Inside the house is spotlessly clean and has all the home comforts needed for humans and dogs alike! It was lovely to pack for a holiday without needing to pack multiple dog beds, toys etc as they were all thoughtfully provided! The garden is perfect for kicking back and relaxing in the lovely peaceful surroundings!

Perfect break in the countryside

We had a wonderful stay at Corner Cottage. Claudia was in contact before, during and after our arrival so we knew we could reach out if we had any problems. Cottage was clean and well presented when we arrived and the two humans and one dog really enjoyed our welcome goodies!! Our bed was comfy and the dog had the choice of many! Kitchen is well equipped if you don’t want to eat out. The garden in late summer was absolutely beautiful and a real delight.

A great relaxing break

We all enjoyed a relaxing week in the beautiful, well equipped cottage for both the humans and our dog. The welcome hamper was much appreciated and Claudia was a welcoming host. A good location for exploring the local beaches and towns. Our dog loved exploring the secure garden and was able to find cool places inside to escape the hot weather.

Best of the rest

Stayed in lots of 'dog friendly' cottages but Corner Cottage was top of the pops. So clean, comfy & homely. Everything & more for our dogs. Beds, bowls, toys. Great garden which was so peaceful. Loved it !

Spacious cottage and lovely garden.

A lovely spacious cottage a short drive to Cart Gap beach and a short walk to a dog friendly pub. It had most of what we needed but I would've loved a pouffe to rest my feet on when on the sofa- my feet were too far off the ground to be comfortable. Plenty of parking and plenty of hot water from the shower. Lovely welcome basket of goodies for us and our mutt. He approved of the raised feeder and water dish.

Home from home

Such a beautiful cottage. Felt at home the moment we walked in the door. Those personal touches of ornaments and pictures added a warm and friendly feeling. Cottage garden plants were full of bees and butterflies. Dogs loved the garden and there were plenty of places fr them to find shade from the sun. Swing seat was the perfect place to relax. Beds very comfortable. Everywhere very clean. Tremendous welcome basket and even the dogs water pot was filled ready for their arrival !

Perfect dog friendly cottage

We loved our week at Corner Cottage. It makes such a difference to stay somewhere where dogs are welcomed, not just tolerated. Lots of walks from the house, including to the beach. It was a real bonus having crates available rather than fitting two Labrador size crates into the car. The garden is properly secured and, though it wasn’t quite warm enough for us to sit out, the dogs enjoyed it. There was also a generous welcome basket and great communication with the host. The perfect cottage for a relaxing break

Corner cottage surpassed all of my expectations, from the generous welcome basket to the clean and comfortable interior. We had everything we could possibly need and the attention to detail was amazing. It really was a home from home and a great location for my reactive dogs who were more chilled than they have ever been. If you are looking to escape fireworks and the drama of new year and replace with long countryside walks and quiet beaches them I would recommend this one.

Week stay in July

We had a wonderful stay last week in Corner Cottage. It's a beautiful place with stunning views and perfect for long walks. Our dog loved every second of her time there. It's in a great location, being a 30 min walk from the beach. There are loads of great places to eat nearby. Thank you for a great week.

A Cottage to return to

Recently come home from a great week at Corner Cottage. What a great find this place was !close to beaches, woods .Perfect for us and our dogs . Welcoming ,clean and practical the owners have thought of everything we may have needed. Peaceful surroundings .Close to the Lessingham Star where we had 2 great meals. Owner was very helpful and communicated well to make us feel welcome . . I am sure we will book this cottage again . Thank you Claudia and East Ruston Cottages .

Beautiful location

Our second stay at Corner Cottage and enjoyed it as much as the first. Due to the heatwave, the dogs (and us!) spent a lot of time in the beautiful garden, plenty of shaded areas throughout the day and very secure. Lovely views over fields from almost every window, sunsets were stunning and it was so peaceful. Easy few minute drive to a lovely beach at Cart Gap and lots of quiet scenic walks from the door.

A wonderful getaway

A peaceful, comfortable cottage perfect for relaxing in on rainy days and great to come home to after a long day exploring the beautiful coastline.

A very relaxing stay

We chose the perfect place for our 8 month old labrador puppy’s first holiday. Corner Cottage had everything you needed and more…towels, toys, poo bags, etc and the treats for dogs and humans! It was so nice to be able to go on walks straight from the door, and the garden was beautiful to relax in if we didn’t want to travel too far. We visited so many different places and feel we haven’t scratched the surface so we’ll definitely be back!

Wonderful!

Our first time in this cottage and we love it! Lots of lovely goodies for the dogs and humans to enjoy. Plenty of room for everyone, the children loved the garden, so did we. The cottage is very comfortable and practical; we all liked the pictures on the walls! Kitchen is so well equipped, which was so helpful with lots to feed. Even had chairs for the beach - so thoughtful. And the games came in handy too. Hope to return to this lovely cottage

Gorgeous cottage

Can't speak highly enough about Corner cottage. Lovely property with loads of space inside and out. The garden was so peaceful with amazing views across the Norfolk countryside. The host was on hand to answer any queries, and check in was seamless. This was our first trip to Norfolk and has set a very high bar. The closest beaches were stunning with plenty of others to choose from nearby. Highly recommended

A tranquil, dog friendly cottage

Corner Cottage is a tranquil place, whether looking across to horses peacefully grazing from the bedroom window or looking out across fields catching the late afternoon sun whilst sitting on the garden swing seat. Perfectly secure and comfortable for our reactive dog. Indoors is a great space, well equipped and spacious. Dog treats and dog beds aplenty. We walked from the cottage to Cart Gap beach and Happisburgh, and drove to other beautiful beaches. We couldn't rate Corner Cottage and our hosts more highly.

We love this cottage

It's warm, it's welcoming, it's cosy, lots of room. Comfortable bed. Lovely garden, the swing is a bit special. Very well equipped, very dog friendly.

Wow what a find

I stay away with my three dogs regularly but corner cottage was my best find to date. The cottage is spacious yet cosy, very well equipped and the owner ensured that everything we needed was easy to find. The welcome pack was also lovely and the dogs enjoyed their treats. I’ll definitely be visiting again
