What a view! The penthouse is nice, big, and beautiful, with a spectacular rooftop patio. The host had fantastic communication throughout and was very thoughtful, including providing transportation to/from the airport for us. We happily recommend!

We stayed in this beautiful apartment in Miraflores on a recent trip to Peru. The ocean view is incredible and the apartment is a great section of Lima. It's easy to access the beach, boardwalk, and great restaurants right in Miraflores. Would definitely stay in this location again, it's fantastic.

The place is better than advertised. Susy and her assistant could not have been more accommodating and friendly. there is nothing like going to sleep at night with the sound of waves from the pacific.

The view was beautiful! The location was easy to Uber to other various sightseeing areas such as Barranco, San Isadro and even Lima main square. Due to the cloudiness and dampness of the weather, the unit was also damp and smelled a bit musty when we entered. The towels in the bathrooms were damp. The responsiveness of Susy was excellent. However, on the last day I was unable to locate the hairdryer and messaged Susy, but did not get a response before our departure to our next destination. I take some blame here as I should have checked for it the night before to allow more time for Susy to respond. Overall we enjoyed the unit and the location, we would like to return when it is not the winter season.

This penthouse apartment had absolutely stunning views like the pictures. The apartment itself is a bit outdated. There is limited hot water in the shower. The elevator is a bit slow. The location is fantastic, and we had very quick access to food, markets, museums. Overall, we had an amazing stay and I would recommend this apartment again.

Nice Penthouse in Lima

Spacious apartment on the top floor overlooking the ocean. The terrace was quite large, had excellent views, and had a sun shade so that we could sit there in the day time. Air conditioning worked well. The host was very responsive to questions. It has three levels so be aware that there are some stairs. There was some traffic noise when outside (unavoidable in Lima) but the building itself was very quiet.

Amazing place, amazing hosts

The unit is great. Well appointed, great pacific ocean views. It is as spectacular as the pictures. Our host Suzy was on top of every detail of our stay. Her assistant, Enriqueta, was the one that greeted us hello and goodbye She lined up where to eat, where to shop, She was so engaging. very, very very friendly and warm. She made us feel like we were family visiting her home. Make sure you tip her well when you leave. She deserves it.

Gorgeous Views and convenient location

The picture of the views of this property don’t lie: it’s as gorgeous as it depicts. Enriqueta the assistant was wonderful. She did a fantastic job cleaning and was kind enough to give us the keys and let us store our bags until it was ready. She even picked us up a bottle of water and some laundry detergent when I asked if the apartment had any.It was very nice and came with a complete kitchen, but had no supplies to make coffee/tea or any sort of cooking. There were utensils, but no cooking oil or salt/pepper. Would still highly recommend staying but thought I should mention this. Walking distance to some local restaurants (xin xin had delicious Chinese food) and the Tambo is a great convenient store located next door to the Chinese place. We also walked down and grabbed one of the city bikes to ride along that designated bike place to LarcoMar and it was awesome.

Susy was great... the apartment was a bit dated, but it had character and was located in a nice area. My only 2 complaints which I think every traveler should be aware of is that the hot water was virtually non-existent and the heat only partially worked. Lima weather in June is cold at night and the heating unit in the master bedroom was completely broken... the other heating units worked partially and only after much difficulty.

The apartment was nice. I will have to say that it has a nice view in the main bedroom and the rooftop. With that said, it was very noisy in the back rooms since they are closer to the main avenue but it's understandable due to Lima being such a big city. My problem was not with that, but with the host and her secretary sending me messages that I needed to pay for towels because we got make-up on them. I've stayed multiple places and never had a host ask me about transferring money to their personal Peruvian bank account to cover towel costs. I had to contact Expedia and they told me that was under the hosts fees that I've already paid. Overall the place is nice, but be careful if you are a girl that wears make-up or if you are traveling with a group of friends that wear makeup.

A few things you should know before booking this. Pros: Host and cleaning person were great. Easy to communicate and easy to check in/out. When we had an issue with no heat/AC they resolved it the next day. The rooftop terrace was nice. Didn't really use it because you have to go down 2 levels to get to the kitchen.Cons: No AC. Like, the breakers were off and the remotes were packed away in a drawer so I'm guessing we weren't supposed to use AC? They did come the next day and turn them on for us. Bar soap? Used bar soap. That's disgusting using the same bar of soap as a previous guest. I didn't. Towels, old. Furniture, old. Bedding, old. No paper towels, napkins, etc. NOT Oceanfront. You can see the Ocean, but you are not walking to the ocean. There really wasn't even a beach. I never saw someone down there. But even if there was, there's a 6 lane freeway, a huge cliff, a park, and another road between you and the ocean. You can hear it over the traffic late at night when there is no traffic. Otherwise, yeah, not oceanfront. Even on the 11th floor the windows don't seal so you heard the city all day.Needs a serious makeover.Overall, the people were great and I feel bad for leaving a negative review. But there is no way I would pay this price again. I would rather pay more and get a hotel. I checked out early so I could get a good nights rest and a decent shower before my flight. Which reminds me, you can have a hot shower, or water pressure, not both.

Dated and Maintenance Issues

Views are by far the best feature of this property. The decor / furniture is dated and had A/C issues in the Master Bedroom that were not fixed for the vast majority of my 2 week stay even after multiple communications with the Rental Contact. Unacceptable and very unprofessional. Very frustrating as A/C was non-functional in the Master Bedroom and wasn't able to sleep in there and fall asleep or wake up to the Ocean Views. Building is also dated and only one of the elevators was functioning. Can not recommend nor will I rent this apartment again!

Beautiful views but little outdated

You walk in and the views are stunning! Susy was a wonderful host - very prompt and accessible. She was a pleasure to work with. Having a 24 hour security was great since our flights arrived very late in the night. That made me feel secure. The apartment is spacious and having a washer/dryer on site was a plus. The apartment itself is dated and could use with a good refresh. Then it will be perfect. Location was ok for us - but expect 10-15min taxi ride to some of the more popular areas.

This was a great place with wonderful views and ambiance. Close to the beach, restaurants, and attractions. The host and Suzy were very responsive to all our needs. I would definitely recommend this condo and look forward to a return visit.
