The Clever Rabbit was just precious. Loved the vintage vibes from the exposed wood on the kitchen ceiling & beams to the mini bathroom sink, artwork & murals. Quiet area, plenty of wildlife & very close to Joshua Tree National Park. Surprisingly spacious for a 1 bedriom with 2 bathrooms as well. We absolutely loved our stay!

Exceptionally clean. Kitchen set up was perfect for cooking. Enjoyed the house decor and outside set up. Highly recommend, especially if you are planning to go into the park.

The property is maintained so well that I would prefer staying here than a 5 star hotel. The manager Pascal has been so helpful! When I messed up with the passcode, he was so patient, friendly and assuring in helping me quickly getting it right that made my wife and I feel so comfortable, so safe. The location of this property is just a couple of minutes away from the western entrance of the national park. You cannot get a better location! I am enjoying this place

The property was perfect for my husband and me with our furbaby. Everything was clean and well kept. The stars mid october were astounding, amd proximity to Joshua Tree just down the road and stores 10 minutes away was ideal. We will definitely be back again sometime!

This place it awesome

You are getting exactly what the Listing shows. Well appointed, big bedroom, fire pit, grill, a place to star gaze. Would highly recomment staying here. We were actually able to walk into the park from the house, it's that close. One note, which is only a note, the house is located on the road to one of the entrances to joshua tree. As such, there is more traffic than you would expect and some car lights going by as you are enjoying the scenery/camp fire. If you are looking for a completely secluded get away, this may not be for you, but if you are looking for a place with quick access to both Joshua Tree National Park and to town, this is a great place. Would stay again 100%

Beautiful cozy cottage within feet of the west entrance at Joshua Tree!

My wife and I added a day onto our trip to Joshua Tree, so we spent only one night here but we very much enjoyed it! The king bed was absolutely lovely and helped us rest up for our long travel home, and the front outdoor sitting area was a great reprieve from our long day hiking in the park. This is mere feet away from the west entrance to JTNP so getting in and out is effortless (you could even walk/bike!). However, that does mean there is near constant vehicle traffic throughout the day. The pictures don't really show it, but this listing is right on the road, with your sitting area facing it directly. We didn't find this too bothersome, and it certainly didn't bother us while we were inside, however you do have to come expecting to listen to cars very frequently during the day while you're sitting outside. The inside is very clean an cozy and thoughtfully decorated, and absolutely feels bigger than it is. It really is a great use of the space and we would absolutely stay again! The stars are beautiful here; much better than you'd see closer to town.

Very convenient to Joshua Tree, quite comfortable, excellent decor and setting.Three small suggestions. 1 cold water tap in bathroom is a trickle, probably a valve problem, upper or lower. Easily fixable. Other taps fine.2 one overhead light seems out (switch didn’t work)3 would have appreciated access to washer/dryer if available. No biggie, we managed.Overall very nice, would go again.

We enjoyed our stay at Joshua Tree. Things were very cute and cozy. The artwork by the owner was a charming touch. The kitchen worked out well. We appreciated having filtered water, a water heater, and a coffee grinder in the morning. We fixed lunches and one dinner and had everything we needed. It was too windy during out stay to have a fire which we had been looking forward to. This was a great spot for enjoying Joshua Tree, especially if you don't want to be near town for meals.

Nice & Convenient

It’s a little gem of a house
 updated, but has the soul of a classic JT casita. Super comfortable bed, nicely stocked kitchen (Utenils, spices & oils, etc.). One thing to note is that the house is actually situated close to the main road — it’s not exactly out in the dark night sky as cars do drive by regularly. Great hosts and perfect communication.

Rustic homestead at doorstep of JTNP

We really enjoyed our stay at this home. Located 1/2 a mile from the West entrance to Joshua Tree NP and about 3 miles from the main road going through Joshua Tree, CA (Route 62), it could not be more convenient. The home was well furnished, clean and air conditioned. Plenty of pots/pans/cookware as well as some key spices and condiments for cooking. Two bathrooms (one with a shower and one with a tub/shower) were nice. Outdoor spaces to sit on three sides of the home which was great depending on whether you wanted the heat from the sun or not. This was a very nice desert retreat.
