Darsena Sunset Suite I by Wonderful Italy

Just a short walk from Ortigia, this cozy suite is located on the first floor of a traditional building with no elevator, in an ideal spot to explore Syracuse on foot. Simply cross the bridge to immerse yourself in the beauty of the island.



The room has a simple, relaxing style, with white walls and soft blue accents. The sleeping area includes a queen-size bed, wardrobe, TV, table with and armchairs.

A small breakfast corner is equipped with a coffee machine, kettle, fridge, and essential dishware.

A bathroom with a shower completes the layout.

The room has a balcony overlooking the entrance street to the building.

For lovers of relaxation and the sea, eastern Sicily and the area surrounding Syracuse offer everything one could wish for. Starting from the ancient Greek city and heading south, the best-equipped and most beautiful beaches to explore are Minareto, Fanusa, Arenella, and Fontane Bianche, whose name derives from the natural freshwater springs and the white color of the sand. On the island of Ortigia, you will also find equipped solariums (Zefiro and Nettuno) and a small free beach called Cala Rossa. Further south, some 30 km away, we find some beautiful unspoiled and inaccessible beaches, including Calamosche, Vendicari with its Natural Fauna Oasis, and the beautiful San Lorenzo. For culture enthusiasts, the Greek theatre of Syracuse and the entire archaeological park with the Ear of Dionysius, a cave carved into the limestone in the shape of a human ear, the Paolo Orsi museum, and the Latomie dei Cappuccini, as well as Ortigia itself with its historical and cultural beauty as well as its landscape, are worth a visit. Not to be overlooked is Noto, the seafront with the tuna fishery of Avola, and finally the seaside village of Marzamemi. In short, Sicily is a land to explore and its natural and cultural beauties are treasures to fill your eyes with.



The airport of Catania Fontanarossa is about 60 kms far away, while Comiso Pio La Torre airport is 110 kms far. The train station of Siracusa is 1 km far from Ortigia, as well as the interbus station connected with the airports.
