Authentique tranche de l'Alaska

Bienvenue dans notre petite tranche de paradis.

Présentant une maison de 2400 pieds carrés assis sur un peu plus de 5 acres boisés. Il y a 5 chambres, 2 salles de bains une vue incroyable sur les montagnes Chugiak à travers le lac. Regardez la danse des aurores boréales dans le ciel pendant les mois d'hiver. Pendant le reste de l'année, vous pouvez voir une variété de sauvagine faire du lac leur maison.

Le bain à remous extérieur se trouve sur le pont, face au lac. La plate-forme entoure trois côtés de la maison. Il y a une cuisine entièrement équipée et un barbecue extérieur pour griller votre saumon ou vos steaks frais. Vous pouvez même avoir votre propre chef gastronomique pour vous servir des repas sur place. La salle à manger a une table qui peut accueillir 10 et il y a encore 6 tabourets de bar dans le bar de la cuisine.

L'étage principal a un salon plus une salle familiale, salle de bains, salle à manger, cuisine et 1 chambre. L'étage a 4 chambres et 1 salle de bain. La chambre principale a une vanité / évier dans la chambre, avec un accès direct à la salle de bain. Il y a une télévision dans le salon, la salle familiale et la chambre principale avec DirectTV et les chaînes locales. Le foyer au gaz dans le salon est une bonne idée de s'asseoir et boire votre café du matin.

C'est une base de vacances familiale parfaite. Rencontrez votre guide de pêche à la mouche ou guide de vol juste devant la porte d'entrée pour commencer votre journée. Canoë, kayak ou ski de fond à travers le lac pour un peu de détente. Pêche à gogo toute l'année! La pêche en rivière au ruisseau Little Su ou Montana, la tyrolienne à Talkeetna ou la randonnée au col Hatchers ne sont que quelques-unes des activités revigorantes que notre petite région d'Alaska a à offrir. Anchorage est à environ 50 miles au sud-ouest.

Family fun

It was a great place to stay with lots of activities for the family with badmitton, croquet, kayaks, paddle boat and games. Fishing was not great but we tried. Plenty of room and the hosts were very welcoming.

A Slice of Paradise

Jeanne & Jim couldn't have been more gracious! The house worked great for my family of 11 people. Beds were comfy, bathrooms were clean with more than enough towels for everyone. Only hoping we can return again someday. Thanks for an awesome stay!

Great getaway for the whole family

We stayed here with my sister in law and her family and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and comfortable, with plenty of room for the whole family. We also got to enjoy taking the boat and paddle boats out on the lake and playing around on the property. The hosts were extremely nice and allowed us to gather fresh eggs from the chicken coop, fresh veggies from their large vegetable garden and even left us some yummy cookies and fresh Alaskan Salmon. I would definitely stay here again!

Absolutely stunning property, even better host!! You can see and feel the love these two put into this place. It was the perfect place for our family of 12. Logs of amenities, in 10 days we did not hear one kid sau they where bored. Also go proximity to logs of dinday adventures. We love to make it back someday! Great

Family senior trip

Our family stayed in this wonderful lake house for a week. There was wonderful communication with the host the entire trip. They supplied a walker for me and even rearranged a main level bedroom to make sure I would fit. The house was about a 15 minute drive from town and on a quiet lake. We absolutely loved the peaceful nature it brought. The supplied boat, kayaks, and canoe were great. The only downside our family encountered was that we felt there was a little too much interaction with the owners during our stay, but upon talking to them about it a couple days in, it stopped immediately.

One of the best vacation my family had!

Easy to find and owners are really nice! All you need to make your stay even greater is all provided to you. We brought along our boat and didnt even need it since they provided boats you can use! Little things like salt,paper, paper towel, pancake mix, fresh eggs in the morning and even vegetables from the garden that are there and available to use, I love it!!My kids enjoyed watching me get some fresh eggs in the chicken coop for breakfast every morning! We also brought our ATV's, althoug there are no trails near by you can still ride around. We celebrated my sons 5th bday here and let me tell you, everybody had a great time! Thanks Ms Jeanne for taking care of every little things down to what the boys may need, it sure was handy when I needed it! Cant wait to come here again with my family!!!! Love these place!!!!!

Family Adventure

The owners were awesome from Day 1 of booking and helped us to navigate our journey during COVID. Once we arrived they were so friendly and respectful of our privacy. The chickens were so much fun to interact with. The lake view was beautiful. The fresh vegetables from the garden were delicious. Beds were comfortable and we enjoyed the fire pit and the hot tub every evening!! Even in the rain!!!!! Well stocked kitchen.

Great spot, people and home

First off, the hosts were incredibly nice and helped us out with all of our questions and planning our daily excursions to see Alaska. The property is beautiful and well stocked with anything you will need for your stay. The lake is beautiful and while the fishing was slow on the lake (very warm weather just prior to our stay) it was a great time getting out on the water and enjoying the beautiful landscape. The location is great and allowed us to go out daily and see many of the great sites in AK (Train, Denali, mines etc...). I would highly recommend this property and specifically the great hosts (Jeanne & Jim).

We had an amazing and relaxing stay.

Jim and Jeanne's house is a perfect place for a family/group of friends to get together and experience Alaska. We had a group of 10 that the house easily accommodated. The house was clean and we'll stocked. Just about anything you need they had there. The yard games, bicycles, boats, hot tub and fishing poles made this house perfect for us.

Unfortunately, a heatwave of record setting levels!

Not suitable for the size of my party! Should be capped at 10, 12 very max.. weather was a Hugh part of discomfort. Great people, the Hayes, with a sincere want for their guests to enjoy a wonderful experience! The location, outstanding; the exterior, outstanding and equipment was spectacular!!! My entire group enjoyed hot tub, grills all types of boating equipment. Maintenance and failing equipment should be addressed prior to guess arrival. Dave Sharp

Families traveled to make some new memories! The house was perfect for our stay. When not traveling we enjoyed the beautiful lake . The children old and young enjoyed relaxing at the end of the day in the hot tub. Very comfortable and clean .

Beautiful and relaxing paradise

This home is spacious, clean and comfortable and has everything you could need. Our group of 11 used this as a home base for local trips around Alaska and found ourselves enjoying the down time at the home as much as we enjoyed the trips. The yard, garden and flowers are beautiful. The lawn games were a lot of fun. The fishing and lake activities couldn't be easier to access. And, the hosts were incredibly thoughtful and helpful. Although we don't have kids, this is a very family friendly location. I'm sure you'll all enjoy this place as much as we did.
