The beauty of the sea, the surrounding mountains, the quiet village - true fairy-tale vacation!

A spacious, comfortable apartment with a beautiful view of the sea. It’s great for swimming right in front of the house, but the beach is also lovely, and the “lakes” are nearby. The village has everything you need—bike rentals, a store, a bakery—yet it’s a quiet, charming little town. The owner is helpful and friendly: there were all sorts of goodies waiting for us in the apartment (soft drinks, coffee, cookies, etc.)

The perfect stay, can’t recommend highly enough.

Everything. Sandra and Divo are the most charming, kind and gracious hosts we had the pleasure to meet in our four weeks in Croatia, and we met many lovely hosts. (We found Croatians across the board to be very welcoming people.) Not only did they supply more than ample towels and bedding (even in some big hotels the towels are so small you have to beg for a second one!) they also generously supplied teas, coffee pods, bread, butter, spreads, cereals, milk, cookies, beer, soft drinks, and more. The apartment is well equipped with all the necessary things, coups, glasses, crockery and included two coffee machines with coffee for both, and a kettle. The furnishings were comfortable and everything spotlessly clean and in great condition. The location of the large, bright and airy apartment (2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms) can’t be beat and it has a big terrace with sweeping views across the bay. Everything is nearby, including a small supermarket, restaurants, the beach and the lakes. We didn’t have a car but there seemed to be plenty of parking right opposite the apartment. We had an entire day to kill between checkout and our ferry and they kindly let us wait in the apartment, and if that wasn’t enough they offered to drive us to the ferry. Can’t recommend highly enough. Thank you Sandra and Divo for a perfect stay.

Special place!

Mljet is a truly beautiful island and the village of Polače, where Jelena's place is lovely! The view from the balcony of the sea and harbour were delightful. It was just a 15-20 minute walk to the national park, which was amazing!

Major-league holiday!

great location, spatious appartement and really friendly host with good communication. Some things (extra glasses, electrical outlet loose,...) could use some freshening up but overall definitely ok. We enjoyed our stay so thanks Jelena and family!

Séjour dans un petit coin de paradis

L’ensemble du logement, dès l’entrée nous sommes plongés dans l’eau avec la belle vue des baies vitrées. Il est spacieux, bien équipé, très calme, deux grandes chambres avec chacune leur salle de bain. Parking juste en bas de l’immeuble. Il y a certes des escaliers pour y accéder mais c’est aussi ce qui apporte cette si belle vue sur la baie. Un peu d’effort pour accéder au bonheur ça ne fait pas de mal ! Sandra, la propriétaire est adorable tout simplement, elle a plaisir à accueillir et nous a gâté, merci pour tout. La petite plage au bout est adorable et c’est très plaisant de regarder tous ces bateaux aller et venir. On a déjà hâte d’y retourner

Ottima esperienza

La posizione spettacolare, dalle grandi finestre sembrava di guardare un quadro. La colazione e la cena consumata su quel balconcino con quel panorama non ha prezzo! Appartamento dotato di ogni comfort, pulito. La signora Sandra ci ha permesso di goderci appieno dell’ultimo giorno di mare,dandoci la possibilità di lasciare i nostri bagagli e di usufruire dei servizi fino al pomeriggio. Gentilissima!

Place is great, just need a car.

Perfect home base for a Mljet trip, just have a car. 20 minute hike to the lakes, 5 minute car ride to Pomena and 25 minutes by car to Odyseus’ Cave. Super host. Eddie is fantastic.. Must go eat at his restaurant, fantastic food. Will be back again… with a car:) Looking forward to seeing Eddie again, felt like home.
