Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're delighted to hear that you thought the home was beautiful and we do hope you and your family enjoyed your time in Cornwall. We were however sorry to hear that some aspects of your stay didn’t meet expectations. This property consistently receives good reviews which is why we’ve investigated each of the issues raised. As a privately owned home, there aren’t any on-site staff available, however the local contact does their best to respond and resolve issues as quickly as possible, and we believe they contacted you within 2 hours of receiving your message. Unfortunately, as a busy holiday let, some items do occasionally go astray between bookings, such as the missing oven gloves and grill rack - but we are pleased the housekeeper was able to promptly revisit the property to deliver replacements and assist where possible We purposely don’t make mention of the hydro bath within our online property descriptions as the jets have been disabled for some time due to health and safety. We will however now add a note, so this is even clearer for future guests. On inspection, we couldn't find any issues with the dining chairs however we’re pleased to report that the sofas within the property were recently re-padded, and they also receive a full professional clean at the end of each season. The property owner continually invests time and care to maintain high standards, and regular maintenance is carried out annually .
