Venez vous dĂ©tendre dans notre confortable maison d'hĂŽtes de 2 chambres, entiĂšrement meublĂ©e, situĂ©e sur 10 acres au sommet de la vallĂ©e de Sequatchie, Ă  mi-chemin entre Crossville et Pikeville. MAINTENANT OUVERT Parc d'État Wilson Cumberland Trail (du jeudi au dimanche de 10h00 Ă  17h00 HNC) Dans le comtĂ© de Cumberland, la capitale du golf du Tennessee, se trouvent dix parcours de golf de championnat. Nous sommes Ă  20 minutes au sud de Crossville, TN, sur le plateau de Cumberland qui abrite le Cumberland County Playhouse, la zone historique de la propriĂ©tĂ© familiale et le parc d'État de Cumberland Mountain. Nous sommes Ă©galement Ă  une heure du magnifique parc d'État de Fall Creek Falls. The owners, Larry and Beverly, were wonderful hosts. We were welcomed with a sweet sign and delicious, homemade banana bread. This was the cleanest home-away-from-home we've been in thus far. Beverly's handmade soaps were a nice touch and we liked them so well, we bought several to take home with us. The area is beautiful and serene. Nature is the only sound you'll hear. We saw plenty of deer and turkey while out and about in the area. There are a billion stars to see at night and the sound of the creek is so peaceful. We will definitely be staying here again. It is a favorite!

We absolutely loved our stay here! Larry and Beverly were truly exceptional hosts. Hands down the best I’ve ever encountered. They went above and beyond in every way and you can tell how much thought and care they put into making guests feel welcome. The space was comfortable, cozy, and had so many personal touches that make a trip feel special.We really, really enjoyed our time here and can’t recommend it enough. Restful hollow

House was beautiful, hosts superbly welcoming. Literally on the Park's border, we could explore around here all day. This is a wonderful off-the-beaten-path refuge.

Highly recommend

My husband and I work highly stressful jobs and needed a place to relax and enjoy a beautiful atmosphere. The views were spectacular from the cottage. The special touches from Larry and Beverly were so appreciated-homemade muffins, homemade soap, and the special greeting when we arrived. Lovely hidden gem

We really enjoyed our getaway to the tranquil cottage. The hosts were so welcoming and responsive. The house is spacious and would be great for a family or 2 couples. The kitchen was well stocked and the grounds are lively - especially the river! It's remote enough to feel like you are secluded but within 25 minutes of a good sized city (Crossville). Nearby amenities include hiking (ample), a buc-cees, Stonehaus winery and miss miller's gigantic donuts. Definitely worth it.

Peaceful cabin

Wonderful quaint cabin in an amazing setting. Full of flowers, hummingbirds, peaceful relaxation. Close to tons of hiking and golfing. Great place to relax and recharge with great and accommodating hosts.

We absolutely loved our stay. The location was perfect and the hosts were awesome. We were greeted by the very nice and friendly owner and the best lemon loaf that I have ever eaten. We will definitely return.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

We loved everything about this lovely cottage and enjoyed meeting Larry and Beverly. It had everything we needed. We enjoyed privacy and also their responsive attentiveness when we reached out. The property is exactly what I was looking for...away from noise and people and to be in nature. You can wake up and go for a short or long hike right from the property or explore many different options within a short drive. Larry and Beverly are super sweet and have created a slice of heaven to relax and unwind.

My Dad and I stayed here for several days. The location was perfect - my Dad enjoyed the mountain view from the comfort of the recliner. We visited several places nearby and this cozy retreat was wonderful to come home to each day. Very clean and the owners were very hospitable and on hand should you need anything. Beautiful, secluded cabin nestled in the Sequatchie Valley. Hosts treated us to the epitome of Tennessee hospitality and some scrumptious hummingbird muffins. Highly recommend for a quick getaway or lengthy stay. You will not be disappointed.

HÎte : Larry and Beverly Maxwell

The Maxwell family has lived on this property for the last 30+ years, taking it from a wild, thorn-covered property to a park-like setting. Its original owner, Larry's father, Rupert Maxwell, was a WWII P47 Thunderbolt fighter pilot and was shot down over Germany and held in a prisoner of war camp for one year. Rupert passed down many lessons including his love for the Lord, this property, and the hard work it takes to maintain it. Larry and Rupert built both houses, including the barn. Larry and Beverly are avid outdoorsman. We love to hunt and fish, hike, garden, cook, make soap, read, sit down by the river and swing on the porch. God has blessed us with this homestead and we would love to share this special place with you. Coming from a military family, Larry has lived in several places, while Beverly grew up and lived in Michigan. Together, we share 4 grown children and 7 grandchildren. We are laid back folks who love our quiet piece of the world.

What people say when they come here is that it is so beautiful and peaceful and that we are so blessed to be able to live here. The Valley is a historic place where Cherokee Indians once made their home until they were moved out on the Trail of Tears. The first Sheriff of Cumberland County is buried on the State property next door. The Sequatchie river originates out of the hillside nearby and runs through our property and makes a great place to cool ones feet on a hot day! Wildlife pays us frequent visits that include deer, turkeys, fox, coyote, bobcat, and many species of birds, etc. Beauty abounds in this space between the mountains and if you sit long enough or wander with a keen eye, you, too, can take in its wonders and escape the real world for a while.
