Vesta View - Self catering accommodation that sleeps 10 guests in 5 bedrooms

Vesta View, named after the Roman goddess of the hearth, home and family is a modern and luxurious spacious property offering spectacular panoramic views of open countryside.

Set in the heart of Hadrian's Wall Country and Northumberland National Park; home to England's cleanest rivers, clearest air and darkest skies, the property has everything you need for a perfect break.

There are five well sized bedrooms, which are light, bright and offering unspoilt views of open countryside. The three upstairs bedrooms have king sized beds. The two downstairs rooms have a choice of super king double or two single beds. Each bedroom has ensuite shower facilities with a fixed rain head and height adjustable shower head and some with a bath. One of the downstairs bedrooms is fully accessible with a large and spacious wet room. The other downstairs bedroom has a walk in shower.

The lounge and dining area is open plan, with a wood burner in the lounge. The kitchen is spacious and light with an upright fridge, five ring induction hob, two fan assisted ovens, dishwasher and a microwave.

There is a small utility room with a washing machine, tumble dryer and upright freezer.

If you are looking for a relaxing or active break at any time of the year in England's Border Country, Vesta View is ideally situated to meet your needs. We will make you very welcome and ensure your stay is memorable.

A lovely, comfortable and quiet house

This is a great place for a family holiday. The house is spacious, with a well equipped kitchen. I loved the uninterrupted view for miles at the front and we all loved the beautiful fat chickens. A great accessible stay in Northumberland

We had a lovely long weekend break at Vesta View, with excellent accommodation and wonderful views across the countryside. The holiday home is very well equipped with everything you can possibly need. Accessibility (ground floor bedroom and wet room) was excellent as we had a wheelchair user with us. The welcome pack was a lovely addition as were chickens, swallows, hares and bats. Having an EV charger on site was also very useful. We hope to return.

The chickens made us feel very welcomed and relaxed

Leah and Kevin where excellent hosts. the accommodation was wonderful with everything you need. after a very long drive we all slept so well in comfortable beds. With three generation of family members, the grandchildren enjoyed the open space to play. The location was a good base the see the amazing sites in the area of Northumberland and managed to get to the Scotland, Edinburgh Tattoo. The Accessible room and wet room was good for my wife who is wheelchair bound we just need to hire a hoist (MobilityEquipmentHireDirect.com). Plenty of room fer 10 of us.

Carraw Farm

We had a great stay at this property while working locally. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and well presented, with everything we needed for a longer work stay. Communication with the host was excellent throughout, and check-in/check-out was straightforward. The location was ideal for our work and we would happily stay here again.

Fantastic family break

Vesta view was an amazing place for our recent birthday celebrations. Luxury accommodation with stunning views from nearby every window. The property offers everything you could possibly want and more. Suited our multi-generational group but equally would have been prefect for a group of friends.

Beautiful, well-equipped stay with gorgeous scenery

We had an amazing stay and were really impressed with the accommodation. The kitchen was so well equipped — to the point that we were genuinely shocked by how much it had. Everything we needed was there and more. The scenery was absolutely stunning and the setting was so peaceful. One of the sweetest parts was the hens confidently coming right up to the windows to have a look at us! The bedrooms were large, comfortable and all had en-suites, which was fantastic. The accessible bedroom and bathroom were also brilliant and make the property feel really inclusive for family and friends with different needs. The little thoughtful touches on arrival — wine, cake, chutneys, juice and milk — were so appreciated and made us feel really welcomed. The only reason I’d give a slightly lower score for location is because it is quite remote. While this makes it wonderfully peaceful, it does mean there are limited food delivery options and you’d likely need to drive a little to go for a countryside walk. All in all, it’s amazing accommodation and we had a wonderful stay.

A lovely place to stay!

We had an excellent stay in this very comfortable and extremely well-equipped house - it really is perfect for people of all ages. The views are fabulous and we were blessed with near perfect weather - although I imagine that even without lovely weather it would be a very pleasant place to stay. Great house with everything you need and fab views!

This lovely house was such a good find for our weekend away with family and friends - all rooms with own bathrooms and the spacious layout was perfect for 10 people. Perfect Stay

Vesta View is a beautiful property with everything you could possibly need from fantastic bed's & bedding to all rooms just fab the kitchen has everything you need & more. The view from the house is unbeatable with the added bonus of the chicken's right outside the window we would definitely stay again the sooner the better.

Amazing stay for new year

We had an amazing time staying here over the new year weekend! The house is beautiful, spacious and extremely clean. It has everything you need, we briefly met the owners who directed us in the right way for our walk. None of us wanted to leave!

Excellent long weekend

House very comfortable and well equipped. One member of the party was a wheelchair user and the layout and facilities were excellent. The view out of the sitting room is wonderful.

Wonderful!

We were celebrating our friend’s 50th Birthday and had a wonderful stay at Carraw Farm. This was our second visit and looking forward to the next. Amazing views, loved the herd of cows quietly meandering the fields and the chickens were cute too! The house was very well equipped and met all of our needs. The hosts were excellent, answered all of our enquiries and very welcoming. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Carraw Farm.

Absolutely fabulous

We spent a lovely week with friends in this super well equipped and spacious house, with the most gorgeous views. Large enough for two families. Spacious rooms. Well equipped kitchen. Lovely cows that came round every evening at the brick wall. Adored the free range chickens.

The property worked well for less physically able guests. The wetroom and shower seat and rails near the toilets were very useful as was the level access from parking area. All of the treats such as the cake and wine were much appreciated. Thank you for making it a very enjoyable stay.

Perfect weekend with family.

A beautiful house with a lovely vista. The house is very accessible, with a good garden space, we did enjoy the company of the chickens! It has very comfortable beds and furnishings with adequate capacity for our family of 9. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cutlery. The region is perfect for exploring Roman archaeology or just walking in a beautiful landscape. As a far scattered family, Vesta View was the perfect place to come together for a long weekend.

Vesta View is a joy!

We had such a great visit here. Home from home only better! It was pleasing to find a beautiful property in such a scenic location. Vesta View is extremely inclusive, all too often wheelchair accessible rooms are miserable but not here, every bedroom was a joy. The hosts were very discreet but available if we wanted them. Our welcome pack was delicious, even a home made cake, it was so thoughtful and kind. We had a very happy family stay here, it was a joy and of course, we’d love to come back!
