Le Lakewood Lodge est un Connexion Accueil Waterfont sur le magnifique lac Basse

Lakewood Lodge est une maison en rondins de luxe l'année niché sur le magnifique lac Bass, situé dans les bois et les eaux de la région de Grand Traverse du Michigan spectaculaires. Le grand terrain boisé de 1,5 acres avec une façade privée de 185 pieds sur le lac Bass, un lac pour tous les sports, situé juste à l’ouest du lac Green et du lac Duck. Cette maison a deux niveaux de vie. Une tanière et grand loft avec des plafonds cathédrale apportent de la chaleur et une 'vers le nord' ambiance à cette maison pleine de journal. La grande salle dispose d'une cheminée en pierre naturelle et est ouverte sur la salle à manger et le bar / comptoir. Deux salles à manger w / auvent donnant sur une grande pelouse pour le plaisir divertissant et en été. Une grande partie de la rive des lacs est dédié à un parc d'État, qui en fait un sanctuaire pour la faune. Un bateau de pêche motorisée, pédalo, les quais et le pont sont fournis pour votre usage.


Idéal pour des vacances en famille, réunions ou pourrait être votre, romantique escamotable privée ... été, automne, hiver ou printemps! Les couleurs d'automne sont magnifiques et les visites de vignobles toute la saison sont spectaculaires. À seulement 25 minutes du centre-ville de Traverse City, les boutiques et restaurants sont superbes à Traverse City et dans les villes pittoresques de la péninsule de Leelanau. Le village d'Interlochen et le centre pour les arts et la musique sont à 10 minutes du lodge, ou le lodge national Sleeping Bear Dunes Lakeshore est à 35 minutes. Canoe la Platte ou Betsie rivière seule demi-mile de pavillon. Bass Lake, c'est 100 acres de lacs alimentés par des sources et alimentés par des sources. Idéal pour canot, kayak, pédalo et de la voile. It is overall a nice property with easy access to Interlochen. Unfortunately there was some flooding so we couldn't enjoy the lake access but the yard and firepit were great. Bathrooms could have been cleaned better, and there were some stained carpets and dusty/buggy areas in the corners of some rooms. The host was very communicative and accommodating.

Lovely, tranquil retreat

Perfect retreat in the woods. Spacious grounds. Home is comfortable and delightfully decorated. Well equipped kitchen with comfortable dining area. First night was hot, we missed our AC. Overall excellent.

Rustic charm and peaceful lake

A nice little place, well stocked, and everything worked ok. Nothing fancy here, but all you need for a relaxing weekend. The yard and beach area were clean and well prepared for the summer season. Boat was handy and the Bass were biting!

Rustic Lakefront Cabin

Comfortable log cabin on the banks of smaller, natural lake. Saw plenty of wildlife, as quiet as nature gets and very little traffic. Cabin included plenty of lawn and lake amenities and the kitchen was stocked with plenty of essentials to make living easy.

Interlocken retreat

Comfortable two story for our 6 people and one dog stay. Can easily have more people. Plenty of internal and external sitting areas for everyone. Beautiful beach and firepit. Love the large front porch, and relaxing stroll in neighborhood. Perfect location due to wedding in grawn. River Kayaking near by.

Comfortable stay!

Very nice stay at Lakewood Lodge. Very clean and comfortable. Kitchen very well stocked, dishwasher so helpful. Beautiful front porch, quiet surrounding area. Back deck overlooking beautiful yard with lake view. Perfect nights for comfortable fireside stories, Smores and laughs. 25 minutes to Traverse city, Crystal lake/Beulah. Lodge very comfortable and clean. Would consider a future stay if traveling in the area.

EXCELLENT

Nothing more needs said, this place is excellent. The fire pit was well used during our stay as well as the gas grill (which the burners need replaced bad). We used the other amenities onsite as well, kayaks and the row boat. Didn't catch any fish though. The beds are super comfortable and plenty of towels provided. The place is quiet and private for the most part. We'd definitely stay here again.

FAMILY VACATION 2024

This house was so perfect for our family vacation, lots of room and privacy outside!! Loved the private beach-water was not very clear so we didn’t swim-but we were fine with sitting on the beach!! We did kayak and did some fishing and cruised in the small boat around the lake. Only complaint was upstairs bathroom shower did not drain very well-but overall everything was great!! Thanks for sharing your beautiful space with me and my family!

The cabin is very cute but the water is not swimable by any means. The heavy black silt is prominant and prohibits swimming. If you are not interested in water activities outside of fishing it’s a nice place. Unfortunately that is why we rented there and so we were very disappointed. We asked about the silt from another commenter and were told it was there but further out and shallow beach play/swim for our grandson would be fine. It was not. The hosts were very nice and responsive and the cabin is nicely equipped. The only other drawback was the lack of AC, that became a. Issue toward the end of our stay because it was so hot!

Summer vacation!!

The cottage is located in a very convenient area to Traverse City ...Leland..lots of things to do but not so much this year because of “the virus”!! Caught a lot of Bass ..we like to fish..the place has a great fire pit area..nice beach area but lake bottom a little soft/silty but swimmable ..the cottage could use a bit more of a good cleaning from the standpoint it is log and it’s “dusty” .. could use a new couch & chair.. too soft .. very worn.. but that being said it is a nice place just needs some updating!! We slept in loft area very comfortable bed!!!

August Get Away

Positives: well stocked kitchen, plenty of linens, large private yard, peaceful wooded setting, quiet inland lake, within about 45 minutes of sand dunes and traverse city. Negative: we found the lake to be unswimmable from the shore. The bottom was mucky, sooty, and full of seaweed. I went in once and came out with black soot in my bathing suit. This was my biggest disappointment with the rental since a nice beach was what I wanted most of all. For the amount of money it cost I was expecting a nice beach and good swimming.

No Way To Cool the Home

Enveloped by wind break, there was no way to cool the home. In defense of the home, temps were in the 90s. No A/C was listed, but with doors and windows that would not open, only 2 ceiling fans, and 2 portables, the house never cooled below 85 degrees. You can wade the water but not swim because of moss and algae

House was very cozy & the back yard / private lake access was the winner with this property. However, the house needs a deep clean. Bathroom floors were dirty, toothpaste on framed picture in upstairs bathroom, big stain on carpet in upstairs bedroom & stains on bedspreads. Windows had cobwebs & dust on the blinds, dust on all logs on the walls, dust on the ceiling above the ceiling fan, etc. Wouldn't take much to deep clean these areas in between guests. House does not have A/C & some windows don't open so be aware if renting during hot months. I hate to even post this but we killed 2 cockroaches in the kitchen while we were there. Location & house is amazing - just needs a really deep clean to reach 5 star status.

3 generation family getaway

We chose this property for its rustic charm and secluded location, and it delivered! The cabin was very clean very comfortable for 6 people. Only drawback to the bedrooms was one is a loft with no privacy This was our first trip to Michigan and my 86 year old father was looking forward to fishing in the row boat on the lake, however the oars on the boat were improperly sized making rowing extremely difficult and engine doesn’t work so fishing didn’t happen. Because of the severe lack of winter snow the lake is very low and it was just muddy silty muck. It’s also much smaller than we anticipated and should have researched that better before picking this location. We wanted to rent a pontoon boat for the week but because the lake was so shallow we could not Despite this, we had a wonderful time and did day trips all over the area exploring the beautiful coastline and other lakes

Labor Day stay

There are positives and negatives about this property. Would I stay here again? No. The cabin is nice, clean, cute, lots of beds and rooms. The loft is a very nice touch. The yard is nice. The host is friendly and responsive. The downside is the cabin gets very hot, it was 84 out and I was sweating like crazy especially when we cooked. The place heated up. Air conditioning units are needed. The beach.. beautiful beach BUT, it isn’t optimal for swimming. There is all this black stuff , soot or algae and as soon as u walk in it the water turns black. We came to swim so this was a major disappointment. I paid for 4 nights, we stayed 2 and stayed w friends the other 2 nights. Also no laundry puts a damper on things too. Overall a below average experience because we wanted a beach to swim in. Advertising a pretty beach, people think they can swim in nice water. This was not nice clean water unfortunately. I paid 546 a night and learned a big lesson.

We love this place, this is our 2nd family vacation here! Love to see things trimmed back a little out back and cleaned up but with recent rain it is understandable it can be difficult to keep up with this. We look forward to coming back next year!!

Had to clean bathroom a little bit. Lights a little too dim. Perfect beach for kids. Awesome fire pit. Very private, no noise. Well stocked with paper towels, toilet paper. All the utensils you need. All porches could use at least 1 rail. Not very handy for elderly person. But, if it weren’t for the above, I would give it a 10.

This property has almost everything to make your week pleasurable. The ample outdoor seating was great appreciated. A very nice set-up at the beach with kayaks and toys. The parking options made getting in and out an easy task.
