This detached single-storey cottage rests in the grounds Hill of Tarvit in Cupar, Scotland and can sleep four people in two bedrooms.

Middle Cottage offers a single-storey dwelling resting on the beautiful grounds of Hill of Tarvit Mansion in Cupar, Scotland. Hosting one double and one twin bedroom along with a shower room, this property can sleep up to four guests. There is also a kitchen and a living/dining room while outside there is an enclosed garden as well as off-road parking. Middle Cottage is a delightful base for a group of four in a remarkable setting in Fife.

Amenities: Electric heating. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, small freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, radio. TV and DVD player. WiFi. Power inc. in rent. . Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot and highchair available. Off-road parking for 2 cars. Enclosed private garden with table and chairs. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 1.6 miles. Holiday guests have access to the estate grounds outside of the regular opening hours. Note: Mobile signal is variable. Note: The open fire is ornamental, cannot be used. Note: The double bed is zip and link and can be made into two singles beds on request prior to arrival. Note: The opening times, visitor facilities and entry prices of all National Trust for Scotland properties and attractions can be viewed on their website here. Please note: Unfortunately, The National Trust for Scotland do not permit BBQ's on their properties - due to fire risk.

Town: Resting in the region of Fife is the town of Cupar, enveloped by rolling hills and positioned close to the River Edan. Retaining a host of medieval character throughout the historic buildings, the town is home to a great selection of amenities including shops, pubs and restaurants, as well as being within reach of plenty of attractions. Visit The Scottish Deer Centre, home to Fife's only wolf pack too, Fife Zoo, and head to the historic town of St Andrews, home to Scotland's oldest university and world-famous golf course.

Sehr schönes verträumtes Anwesen mit historischen Ambiente. Sehr sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Zu beachten ist die geringe Türhöhe.

Review of Middle Cottage, Tarvit
Cottage was located in a perfect situation for our two dogs - surrounded by woods (and squirrels!). For the humans Hill of Tarvit is near to Cupar and St Andrews and to the south an easy drive to Largo and Leven beaches. Everyone we met was friendly and helpful.

Middle Cottage, Hill of Tarvit
The Cottage itself was fine and the location good for visiting Fife. I am aware that the NTS is short of money and that explains why things were not always as they should be. However we enjoyed our stay and can recommend it to any one wishing to visit Fife.
