Lovely hotel in a great location

Came for a 2 night stay in the self catering apartment which was large, well presented and clean. Location is great for travelling around Exmoor. The hotel owners are incredibly friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend staying here.

3 night stay whilst family was on holiday nearby. Very comfortable and enjoyable stay. WE had an apartment which was spacious, comfortable, well-equipped and very clean. Would definitely staff there again

A convenient location for the wedding we were attending with the added bonus of a narrow gauge railway station at the bottom of the garden, providing extra entertainment for our stay.

Perfect for a short break.

The small self-catering apartment had everything that I needed. It was spotlessly clean, well equipped, quiet and comfortable. I have stayed at Moorlands before and it is always a delight to return to this idyllic and well-located accommodation.

This was our 4th trip and we loved it as much as the 1st. We had our new puppy with us and he loved the open soace and secure garden just outside our door. Fantastic walks everywhere and wonderful friendly hosts.

Family visit

With family in a local village we have stayed here many times, as always the reception is very friendly and attentive. We stay in the Dean apartment as we have a dog, the apartment is very comfortable and well equipped, and easily accessible with the dog.

Very relaxing holiday and superb accommodation staying at Moorlands.

We stayed in the Dean suite with our two Cavaliers having done so several times previously. It was ideal for us and our pet dogs with a secure courtyard enabling them to do what is necessary. In fact it felt just like home.

Perfectly calm and relaxed, just what we needed.

A return visit, staying in the ground floor apartment. Everything clean and shiny! Desi always makes us feel very welcome, and being just a few yards level stroll away from the railway platform is the icing on the cake!

Comfortable accommodation and always a very warm welcome.

I've stayed at Moorlands many times over several years and always enjoy returning there. The accommodation is spotless, comfortable and well equipped, the grounds are superb and the location is perfect. This time I stayed in the Dean Suite as self-catering suited me best and really enjoyed this quiet and cosy flat.

J'ai séjourné dans un appartement spacieux et tout équipé avec des croissants offerts le premier jour. j'ai eu la chance d'avoir un temps agréable avec deux jours de grand soleil.
