A lovely 2 bedroomed apartment, it features 2 bedrooms with luxurious king-size beds draped in Egyptian cotton and the finest Terence Conran throws. The bathroom has a rain shower and Paul Costello products.

All bedrooms have large internet-connected HD TVs, complimentary Wi-Fi.

This apartment also has a large open plan kitchen/living area with an electric oven, hob, dishwasher and a fridge with an ice compartment. Tea and Nespresso coffee facilities are also provided.

All bed linen, towels, heating & electricity are included in the rate. Travel cots and high chairs are available free of charge; just let us know what you require in advance. Laundry facilities are on site should they be required.

Our self-catering holiday rooms have been created from the careful conversion of our 19th century stone-built house.

We have five guest, newly refurbished self catering rooms, which mean you don’t have to worry about the journey home to anywhere. There are two, two-bedroomed units suitable for a family or friends and three one bedroom units. Each room is different, taking their names from their original purpose within the old family home.

You'll find a welcome hamper when you arrive, stocked with essentials, and if you don't fancy cooking, just pop into the restaurant next door! You’ll find the kitchen equipped with an electric oven, hob, dishwasher and a fridge with an ice compartment. Tea and Nespresso coffee facilities are also provided.

We are just a short stroll from The Brewer’s House restaurant and also The Lower House pub is right on your doorstep.

Two very spacious apartments easily accommodated 6 adults (3 couples). Two dinner bookings meant we could relax and enjoy the stay with live music on the Saturday in the bar next door.

Fantastic rooms would definitely stay again.

Clean, spacious and modern rooms. Bed was so comfortable and the pillows were luxurious. I didn't use the shower but the bathroom was spotless. The kitchen and living area was spot on.. that sofa was so comfy. I had breakfast in the cafe across the road to finish of a wonderful stay.

Oliver is an asset, went above and beyond, help sort us a taxi to the wedding we came for and showed us around the place, where we could eat and drink etc. the place was tidy, modern and just fantastic and we’d definately come again.

Loved the location for visiting family in the area. Beds were comfortable and the spacious apartment was quickly and easily warmed. Would have appreciated access to a laundry for our week long stay but we managed just the same. :)

Nice but noisy

Good value and well appointed accommodation, but our evenings were disturbed but the noise and live music from the Lower House which is next door. I had thought the accommodation was next to the much quieter Brewers House, otherwise I would have researched the pub a little more

Comfortable

Roomy ,big apartment and very comfortable beds. The only reservation we had was that one of the bedrooms was over the bar so on the Saturday night music was blasting until 12.30. While we understand we are near a bar either sound proofing or a gentle warning would have been useful. We would however return but ask for different room.

There has been a pub here on these premises since the 17th Century so we are pretty old! We are 7th generation. The Lower House is set in the heart of our village – welcoming people from far-flung corners of the world as well as our neighbours. We have a beautiful pub with seven bedrooms in total over the two upper levels of the house and one on the ground floor, each with a dedicated lounge and kitchen area. It provides a slightly different model to the hotel experience but offers a place you can stay in a small village with the pub below and the The Brewer’s House restaurant only metres away.
