Grand appartement 1 chambre, accès direct au bord du lac Supérieur, près de Munising & Marquette

Il s'agit d'un spacieux appartement de plain-pied de 800 pieds carrés. Il est situé sur les rives du magnifique lac Supérieur et se trouve à quelques pas seulement de la plage. Parasol et chaises, foyer et bois, table de bistrot en plein air, barbecue Weber au charbon sont fournis. L'appartement dispose d'une cuisine efficace et d'une entrée privée avec votre clé personnelle.


Il dispose d'une grande télévision à écran plat, de chaînes premium, d'une table de billard, d'un vélo elliptique, d'une salle de bains avec sauna électrique et d'une kitchenette. Il y a une belle chambre privée queen avec des draps repassés de haute qualité. De plus, un foyer électrique et une connexion Wi-Fi haut débit par fibre optique sont à votre disposition.

Cette propriété est située à 15 minutes de Munising et les célèbres roches illustrées où vous pourrez faire de la randonnée, du vélo, du kayak et de la photo. Grand Island possède des sentiers pédestres, des grottes maritimes et des cascades. Les deux sites sont célèbres pour leurs falaises de grès brillant. Munising Bay possède un port de plaisance, des restaurants, des microbrasseries et des concerts gratuits dans le parc les mardi soir.

La ville pittoresque de Marquette est à environ 35 minutes et abrite la Northern Michigan University. Ses emplacements dans le port rendent un cadre très pittoresque. Vous y trouverez plusieurs brasseries, restaurants et magasins. Si le golf est votre passion, il y a trois parcours à proximité: parcours de golf à Munising, murs gris à Marquette et Sweetgrass à Escanaba.

Si la pêche est votre truc, il y a deux compagnies de bateaux charter à Shelter Bay à environ 2 milles à l'ouest de la propriété qui offrent plein et 1/2
Excursions de jour. Il y a aussi un lancement de bateau public à moins d'un mille à l'est de l'appartement, donc vous êtes presque sûr de rentrer chez vous avec le dîner.

Was just what we needed for our getaway , loved the sauna. Even though the weather was not ideal we had a great time going to waterfalls in the area and a boat tour .

What an amazing stay! Julie and Bob have thought of everything and were wonderful hosts. We loved watching the sun rise and set from the deck and the beach. The views were glorious and the sand easy to walk on. We even got treated to the northern lights one evening! Im hoping to go back sometime.

As with every other review, we loved their place! It's perfectly between Munising and Marquette with easy access to lots of outdoor trails. It felt just like home, even more so coming to the breakfast food to give us time to get to the grocery. Don't miss going out to see the stars!

Julie and Bob are truly one in a million! From the moment we booked, they felt like caring grandparents—checking in to make sure we made it safely to their place and offering thoughtful recommendations throughout the weekend. Their home is a little slice of heaven, from the comfiest bed I’ve slept in for ages to the cozy fires while watching the sunset over Lake Superior. Every detail made us feel so welcome and cared for. We couldn’t have asked for better hosts or a more perfect stay.

What a lovely place

Julie and Bob's place was easily one of my favorite and most memorable stays. Everything was comfortable, clean and full of thoughtful touches. The sauna and private access to the lake shore was amazing. Julie was very attentive and helped us with everything we needed. We have already recommended this place to several of our friends! Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. Thanks again for a lovely getaway.

I can't imagine waking up to these views every day. The property is absolutely gorgeous. Bob and Julie are gems. So sweet and helpful during our stay. Everything you need is here. We really enjoyed the sauna/shower and having a bonfire on the beach. It was the perfect jumping off point for our adventures in the UP. Book this stay. I promise you will not be disappointed. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The best weekend getaway!

Bob and Julie were the best hosts, they made sure we had everything we needed plus some. The property and place were kept very clean and we will definitely be staying here again on our next trip up north!

Bob & Julie met us upon arrival. They were friendly and showed us around the property and how to utilize everything in the apartment and out on the deck and beach. We were pleasantly surprised with the wine, food, and chocolate treats. Apartment was immaculate and provided more than we needed. Really enjoyed the sauna, deck overlooking the beach, and being down on the beach. Location was central to exploring much of the UP.

Perfect location, hosts and accommodations

Julie and Bob were so friendly and have thought of everything their guests could possibly want/need. The welcome gift and "starter" breakfast items were so thoughtful, the sauna so relaxing, the bed very comfortable and the Lake Superior beach so beautiful. We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

Great spot on Lake Superior

This was a great place to stay. Close to Lake Superior and also close to either Munising or Marquette. Also close to some very nice waterfalls. The place was clean and super comfortable, and the items left for our use were very much appreciated. Thanks for a good time.

We are both retired school teachers from the lower peninsula who moved here to live in this beautiful area. We previously lived in Sterling Heights where we raised our six children. We know have 5 wonderful grandchildren and a sixth is due this summer. All of our children love to come visit us here, and it has become a very special place for them as well as us. We've made many meaningful memories here. We hope that you will do the same, and enjoy our home as much as we do.

This property is located between the two cities of Munising and Marquette. We are in the middle of the Hiawatha National Forest and some of the most beautiful shoreline in the Upper Peninsula. From the property you can see Grand Island in the distance and picturesque little AuTrain Island is within a
kayak ride away. You cannot find another lodging closer to the water than Cherry Pointe Cottage Apartment or more accommodating hosts.

Although we live on the premises, you will be the only other people on this property. You have a private keyed entrance and a very large area to stay; more spacious and homey than a hotel/motel room. It's a cozy, comfortable apartment.
