Lovely property in a stunning location. Ample accommodation for our party of 7, plus 1 dog, so enclosed garden is a bonus. No amenities close by and getting to them via the Devon county lanes can be challenging but for some this may be part of the attraction. Would certainly stay again and would recommend.

Excellent property. Very clean and very well equipped.The Hot Tub was an added delight. And the Sea view from the lounge diner was superb. Excellent garden for our small dog. To sum up. Curlew is a superb property for a Family break. In a delightful location.

Brilliant place

Lovely holiday home in an absolutely beautiful setting, the views from the property were stunning. The walk over to Burgh Island and the Pilchard Inn is a must. Had a fabulous holiday.

Pleasant return visit

This is a great property in a fantastic location. Having stayed here for a number of years we feel it would benefit from some minor decorative maintenance, but having said that there is nothing to spoil a stay.

Perfect venue as usual

We have been visiting this house for many years and we are still excited as we arrive in Bigbury-on-Sea. The house is always clean with tasteful seaside themed decoration. The tea and scones are very welcome on arrival. You couldnt ask for more.

Lovely house, beautiful views over Bigbury bay and burgh island. Would have been useful to be clearer about the extra costs for the hot tub - details are a bit buried and I only spotted it a week before we arrived.Had a wonderful holiday and we were lucky with the weather. Electrics kept dimming sometimes and the hall light wouldn’t turn off. We had a problem with a broken lock to the lounge door to the garden but that was all sorted quickly thank you. I would say that the bifold doors locks are very stiff and may need some maintenance soon.

Wonderfully Relaxing

Everyone was very impressed with our holiday home. Loved the decor and spotlessly clean. Great communication leading up to our stay. The welcome basket was a nice touch. We will definitely come again.

Beautiful house with amazing views

Enjoyed a trip over to Burgh Island and The Pilchard Inn. The view from the house was better than looking back from the Island. Made good use of the hot tub even when the weather was bad. Would definitely recommend the house for a family sharing.

Girly weekend away

House was lovely, even better than the pictures. Very clean and well equipped - it literally had everything we needed/could think of! The area is beautiful too and just a few short moments from the beach and burgh island. Would definitely recommend this property 😊
