Great weekend in La Jolla

This unit had everything you would want, ocean views, huge elevated patio, close to shops and restaurants and a comfortable bed. Highly recommend for any couple looking for a great getaway.

Amazing View and Location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location is perfect, and I really had no desire to ever leave the deck! The kitchen, bathrooms, and laundry room were well stocked and the furnishings comfortable.

Beautiful home, beautiful view!

We loved our visit to LaJolla , there was much to do and it was walkable to downtown and to the beach. This beautiful home was clean, pretty and spacious. The deck is large and the views are spectacular!

We had a wonderful stay at this property! The view and location were fantastic. You didn't want to leave the gorgeous deck but if you did it was a short walk to a great beach and town. Beautifully appointed and well kept, it was a dream condo. I didn't want to go home!

Great house

We loved the house, the location is perfect, the view is amazing. Only drawback are no window coverings on the one bedroom so lots of light. And the slider between bath & bedroom very squeaky but a great place overall.

Great location, awesome views!

Property was clean, well appointed, great views, extra special good luck when a seagull dropped a load on my head on the deck. Lol. Recommend this unit for anyone wanting to be close to La Jolla shopping, restaurants and just 1 block from the beach…

A Wonderful Stay With A Lot of Laughs

This place was an absolute dream! Everything from the customer service and managment company to the actual property itself. The ocean view especially at sunset is breathtaking. We didn’t ever want to miss it! The property management was so accommodating to all my personal needs. They even surprised my mom for her birthday with balloons, custom sign and brownies! The beach is gorgeous and a it’s a beautiful walk into town along the coastline. Exploring the beaches was my favorite part!! Highly recommend!!

Bridal Suite Beauty

We rented this property as a bridal suite for a small intimate wedding at Cuvier Park. The location was perfect there was parking available on the street and there was room for everyone to spread out! There were a couple of issues that came up during our stay; we found black mold all over the bathroom doors, the coffee maker was broken and on the second to last day, we couldn't use the kitchen sink because there was a leak...BUT management was quick to handle all things mentioned and was overall super pleasant. (Redwood you should convert the laundry room into a second bath!!) Overall we had a pleasant stay and would stay there again. Thanks Redwood!

What a wonderful property to visit with my mom last weekend. She hadn’t been to La Jolla, and it was her birthday...so adorable housing was critical. Email communication was fast and informative. Checkin was a snap. We were blown away by the views of the ocean and Marine Street Beach. The home was clean, bright, and well appointed. The neighbors were friendly and the area was quiet - just what you want in this seaside town. Though a maintenance issue popped up, the property manager was communicative and professional. I have some suggestions on making the property/stay even better, but it is sufficient that travelers know they’re getting a great experience with Sue’s home. And on the last night? A double rainbow and killer sunset. Perfection! Cheers. We’d love to stay with you again.

Great place, great location

My wife and I stayed here on a weekend getaway for her birthday and had a great time. Location is hard to beat. Really nice area, steps away from the beach, and great food spots all within walking distance.

Fantasitic location closer to the beach

Loved the beautiful view of the Pacific ocean from the balcony/living room(esp fabulous sunset views) Quiet neighborhood. Kitchen was perfect for a home away from home cooking. Some improvements can be done: TV was difficult to operate, needs to be updated. Shower needs a curtain as water spills on to the bedroom.

Exactly as advertised

Listen, we were there for the view and that's exactly what we got. The balcony overlooks the ocean and the breeze is phenomenal. If I want to get picky, there is only one bathroom and one of the doors is very squeaky so when someone goes to the bathroom in the middle of the night, it'll be loud. Otherwise, this was a very nice facility and Sue was very accomodating.

4th of July Getaway

Overall our stay was ok, for the price you get location and a balcony looking towards the ocean which were both things we wanted and those things were great. Inside the unit itself, master bed is very old sunken in and very uncomfortable. They had flannel type sheets on the bed which is crazy seeing it’s SoCal in summer. They weren’t nice at all, if it weren’t for being able to turn the a/c way down it would’ve been miserable. BTW they ask you only turn it to 72...lol... yeah right if you want to sweat all night long. The only way to turn off the TV is get up and unplug it. The bathroom was fine, toilet is very small and uncomfortable and walk-in shower should have a door but was nice. Also the bed needs a second nightstand, had to charge phone on the floor. The kitchen had zero condiments which we found very odd and frustrating. Every other VRBO we have done always has the basic condiments around. Coffee pot was broken (manager came and replaced) TV in living room is very cheap, not a smart TV nor did they have a Roku or similar device. You’re stuck with Direct TV, they need a Roku for $99 then you could have access to your own Netflix, Amazon Video, Hulu accounts to watch what you want. Again for the price you get location, in our opinion not worth it. We would rather have some comfort and an extra 10min walk to the beach.

Stunning sea view

We had a fabulous stay and you could never tire of the sea views and relaxing on the large deck. The property was very clean and large and worked perfectly got us. We did not want to leave!

Loved it!

Had a wonderful stay. Only 2 simple suggestions. 1. The bathroom pocket door needs some WD40 to help the loud squeak. It wakes up guests in middle of night. 2. Please have manager let people know to park vehicle “behind the line” (larger crack in sidewalk) — the neighbor had to come ask us to back up our large vehicle further because they couldn’t get out of garage across street Other than that, it was wonderful and we would love to come back!!!

As Advertised

Great location in La Jolla with tremendous view of the Pacific from the outdoor balcony. Very peaceful compared to locations further south. Short walk to the beach. The apartment was very clean and well kept. Beds were very comfortable. My family had a great vacation. Parking instructions weren’t clear but we figured it out with the help of a neighbor.

Beautiful and comfortable one block from a great beach

There are so many beaches to choose from in San Diego/La Jolla. It's hard to know which one you will want to hang out at. This listing is one block away from a great beach that isn't too crowded.
