The Atelier. Artist's apartment sea view with plant and sculpture garden

The Atelier is located in the medieval village of Scarlino, with an entrance on the alley that leads to the Castle. It is part of the Casa d'Artista where the owners live: the artist Mauro Corbani and his wife Laura, a psychologist, It is a building of historical and artistic interest, unique for its painted facades and the see view garden with plants and sculptures, shared with the guests of our 2 apartments. The Atelier is an independent apartment consisting of a large entrance hall, bathroom, full kitchen with a terrace overlooking the garden, a bedroom on the street side and another larger one on the garden side with a splendid view of the Gulf of Follonica and the island of Elba. In the sea view bedroom there is a double bed and a sofa bed. In the other bedroom there are 2 single beds that can also be made up into 1 comfortable double bed with the addition of a single double mattress. It can also be a quiet living room if you are only 2 people. A Chicco cot with bars is available on request. From the outside you can access the garden, where guests of each apartment have their own exclusive space with a table and benches where they can eat and deck chairs to relax. Both the interior and exterior of the house are decorated with original works of art. Guests can visit the artist's studio for free and participate in an engraving course for an additional fee.
Scarlino is located in the Maremma Toscana, an area rich in history and natural beauty. You can visit beautiful villages and wonderful beaches. There are paths for trekking, mountain bikes or e-bikes.
