Ce 3 chambres, 2 salles de bain maison confortable qui est parfait pour les familles et les amis qui veulent sortir Ă  la montagne. EntourĂ© d'arbres, avec le lac Chatuge juste en haut de la route. À quelques minutes du parcours de golf, du spa, du casino, des terrains de pickleball, du parc des expositions, du Young Harris College, d’un terrain de jeu pittoresque, de fantastiques restaurants, d’antiquitĂ©s, de la location de bateaux / marina, etc.

En 2019, nous avons fait traiter la maison par un professionnel pour lutter contre la moisissure afin d'éviter toute préoccupation.

Nous proposons des services Wi-Fi, Netflix, Hulu et Amazon Prime Video sans frais supplémentaires.

Notre maison a Ă©tĂ© endommagĂ©e par une tempĂȘte en 2018. La maison a Ă©tĂ© rĂ©parĂ©e et nous avons ajoutĂ© des amĂ©liorations telles que des ports USB, un espace bureau, un foyer, un coin petit-dĂ©jeuner et 2 tĂ©lĂ©visions supplĂ©mentaires.

NO view of the lake from house. You CAN tell the house is pet friendly Also the house has been closed up for some time, musty smells. Could not use one toilet, it was not secured to the floor!

As soon as you walked in the house, this musty smell hit you in the face, and it never went away. The carpets were very dirty, and we had to rewash the dishes before we could even use them. There were hair on the walls in the shower and there was a lot of dog feces in the backyard that had not been picked up from previous visits I guess. I am grateful that we were not charged the $75 dog fee, since we cleaned up after other people‘s pets as well, I’m a little perturbed over the hundred dollar cleaning fee since nothing was clean. The floor by the kitchen and dining room is a safety hazard, because there are big gaps between the planks put down, and I actually stomped my toe on one of them. The area where the house is in is actually very beautiful, but I would recommend to the owners that they invest in a professional carpet cleaning.

Since I was the only one staying in this 3br, 2ba house, my review is based on the rooms/spaces I used. The house is older but there are signs the owners are updating it as the kitchen and main bathroom have been renovated. The 2nd bathroom is in an unusual location; you have to walk through the kitchen and laundry room to get to it and it has a walk-in tub; might present a privacy issue for some. I did not prepare any meals; used microwave to reheat restaurant leftovers and to nuke a couple breakfast sandwiches, so cannot comment on other kitchen use/appliances. Slept well every night. Being next to a lake the house was a bit damp; probably wouldn't hurt to put another dehumdifier somewhere. Should really do something about the small trees growing out of the gutters. Future renters should definitely heed owner's advice about arriving before dark; could be difficult to find if arriving at night. Having a carport to park in is definitely a plus. Had no issues with WiFi; did not use TV. I reserved this place because the cabin I had rented previous years was unavailable and this house was cheaper than all other options; this is nice to have as a backup for future visits since I don't really need 3br/2ba.

The house is in a very good location, beautiful town. The house is very old and smell moldy and humid. The beds are very uncomfortable and the master bathroom is not connected to the bathroom also the smell in that room is terrible. The carpets are very dirty and gross. The living room furniture is old and smelly. I rented for 4 days but only stayed 2 days. I think they need to put new carpets,change the furniture and beds.

Quick stay for visit to Young Harris College. Home met needs with 3 bedrooms. Older home but clean and functional.

Very quiet and beautiful lake view! Listing says sleeps 8 but we had older kids and there just wasn’t enough room for them to sleep comfortably. It would be great for younger kids. Plus they have board games for kids too!

We enjoyed out stay here the inside was very clean. Easy access to surrounding areas and things to do. This was a chill vacay so we had no itinerary, but information provided by the host made it easy to find things to do. Will stay here again when in the area.

family stay in Young Harris

The day we left for our trip I had still not received my welcome letter or a code to access the property. I emailed the property manager and we left our home headed to our stay. 4 hours later I had still not received a reply. I tried to use the vrbo virtual agent which was no help. I found a number for VRBO and called and of course I did not get an actual person , it would be 15 minutes or more before I could speak to an agent. We decided to go on to the property. Once we arrived I checked again and still no response. Called VRBO and sat on hold finally spoke to an agent and waited again while they went thru all the correspondence and determined the owner had not contacted me, again I waited while they attempted to contact her and couldn't. They decided to cancel the reservation and reimburse me but I would have to find another place to stay. Note we were there with family to enjoy the annual apple festival so the town and surrounding towns were booked solid, while we looked the agent stayed on the line and tried again to contact the property owner, who finally responded and gave us the code. 3 and half hours of our vacation were a waste .pillows in the bedrooms were covered in yellow stains, the trundle bed had urine stains covering the mattress pad, the carpets were dirty and stained, the 2nd bathroom did not have a door. owner was in Florida without electric and could not contact us, My entire family is in Florida without electric but we are able to stay in contact.

Feels like home

This is our second stay and we absolutely love it, it fits our family perfect. We love that we can save money by cooking and this time WAL-MART will deliver which makes it so much easier! Love sitting out front to listen to the different birds and wildlife can’t wait to go back!

Great little home

A great quiet place tucked in the woods that just felt like home, our son loved the games and toys that the host provides and our pup loved the back area. Would love to stay here again in the future

Great Location

This property was the perfect location for our visit. Close to Hayesville, Hiawassee and Young Harris. It was clean and spacious. Provided quiet retreat and nice neighborhood to take walks through.

My Georgia Stay

The house is old but pretty comfy. Really too large for one person and a dog. House could use some fresheners and removal of spider webs. Table lamp in bedroom switch needs to be replaced and in dining area light flickers on and off fast. The fluorescent lamp in laundry room needs new lamps because they don't want to come on. Since you allow dogs the carpet should be removed and just have wood or linoleum floors because of the stains and odor. But I did have a lovely time.

Great place to stay

We stayed to visit the fair for a day. The place was perfect for our trip. Plenty of games for children. Beds are comfortable. The place was clean. The kitchen had what we needed to fix a full breakfast. The children loved the bath/shower. Would stay again and recommend.

Older place but okay overall

The property was pretty much as described. It is older and you can definitely tell - the owners are doing gradual updates which is also apparent. Pro: lots of games for the kids (although the fooze ball was broken on arrival), tvs stocked with entertainment, bedrooms were good size. Location was convenient. The little beach nearby (~7 minute drive) was super cute. Cons: “2nd bathroom” was pretty useless. It’s off of the laundry room and not located near the bedrooms to use for getting ready - it was also really dirty; had leaves or something all over the floor when we arrived. This was pretty annoying but our stay was so short we just dealt with using 1 bathroom. The backdoor to the yard had a sign “do not use” on it which made it annoying to take our dog out all the way around the house. The lamp in one of the bedrooms didn’t work, therefore not enough outlets for the baby monitor, but that wasn’t a deal breaker. Overall it was good and worked well for what we needed. Cleanliness could step up a notch.

This used to be my Father's home. He moved to Young Harris years ago because he loved the area and people so much. So, when I was deciding how to best honor my Father with this house, I knew that he would want me to share this beautiful location with others.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

One of things I love the most about this getaway is that when you are at the house, you are surrounded by beautiful trees but you can walk to the end of the drive and be at the edge of Lake Chatuge. You are 5 miles from Hayesville, NC, Hiawassee, GA, Young Harris College, Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds and a golf course. It truly feels like you have gotten away, but still close enough to have what you need or want to do.
