Manor Cottage is an idyllic single-storey, stone cottage set in the village of Akeld near Wooler, Northumberland. Home to one king-size bedroom (zip/link can be twin on request) that is served by a bathroom, this property can sleep up to two guests. Bed linen and towels included in rent. The interior is then complete with a kitchen and a living/dining room. Outside there is ample off-road parking available for guests. Manor Cottage is a truly wonderful base from which to discover the spectacular Northumberland countryside. Note: This property does not accept Sunday check ins. Note: Bookings at this property must be a minimum of 2 nights. PLEASE NOTE: The on-site swimming pool and sauna facilities will be open for guest use from 1 April 2026.
Use of the swimming pool and sauna is available for an additional charge and must be arranged directly with the owners prior to arrival.
From 1 April 2026 pool access is charged at 42GBP per adult per week with shorter stays charged on a pro-rata basis.
Children under the age of 14 are not charged for pool use
The swimming pool is unsupervised and used at guests’ own risk
Children under 16 must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times and lone swimming is not permitted for anyone under 18
