    Cute and cozy! Kitchen had everything needed to cook meals. Communication with host was excellent! I’d recommend.

    This was the first place we stayed on our Irish vacation. My wife feels that all the other places are a few steps down in ratings compared to the adorable nature of our stay. Would definitely go out of the way to stay here again.

    The place is beautiful and has everything you need, however we had several spiders and one very large raft spider. We actually checked out a day early.

    The guest choose to checkout a day earlier because she said that her teenage son saw a spider! She requested a small refund or the cleaning fee to be refunded. I agreed to refund the cleaning fee to the guest. She responded to say that they were also hosts and know how reviews can be damaging! So she wouldn't mention the spider in her review!!! She then decided that she wanted more of her payment refunded. After breaking down taxes, fees and commission that the host pays from the total that this guest paid I offered to refund 50% of their last night.... The guest never responded to this message! I very much left that this guest was threatening me about not going to mention this misfortunite incident but then she went ahead and did it anyway.... We are open and conscientious about how we run are business and care for our guests . I think this is evident from our reviews. Since this guest checked out we have taken precautions to prevent spiders entering through opened doors and windows but one must remember September is the mating season for HARMLESS spiders in Ireland...

    Ballybur Mews is a slice of heaven!

    We were very pleasantly surprised with the comfort of the surroundings and the smartly decorated property. Very cozy and enjoyable visit. We will be back again on our next visit!

    Absolutely wonderful stay! The property was spotless, beautifully maintained, and even better than the photos. The location was perfect. The amenities exceeded expectations and the host was welcoming and very responsive. Highly recommend and would definitely return.

    Beautiful Country Lodge

    The setting is beautiful. Within driving distance of the major sites. The pictures show the eclectic decor which was such a nice compliment to the accommodations. The kitchen was well equipped and the roomy walk in shower was unexpected but much appreciated.

    What a wonderful stay

    Absolutely wonderful time during our short trip to Kilkenny. It was quiet and the perfect distance away from all the activities in the area. When we arrived Mel was waiting with the keys and info we needed. We also appreciated having a washer and dryer to use. If we travel back to Kilkenny, we will most definitely request this property again.

    Relaxing and beautiful

    Ballybur is absolutely gorgeous! Such attention to details. Feels fancy, but still very comfortable..we loved our time there- it was an easy spot to visit Kilkenny, Cashel and the surrounding area from!

    Home away from home

    This was our second stay at the Mews because we loved it so much the first time. It is the perfect, cozy refuge to enjoy the beautiful sights of Kilkenny. Mel is a wonderful hostess and was very prompt to respond to our questions and needs. A++

    Wonderful time in Kilkenny

    This place was amazing! Clean and welcoming! Space was utilized and the four of us felt like we all had our own space while being able to spend some quality time together! Mel was friendly and made us feel at home. The location was a short ride into town and we were able to see and go everywhere we had on our list. If I am ever back in the area I would stay here again!! Cheers!

    This cute little Mews was ideal for our Kilkenny stay. It accommodated 4 adults comfortably. The decor was quaint and charming. Beds were very comfy and the coffee was delicious. Our group voted that the shower was “the best in Ireland.” The host was extremely responsive and helpful, as they helped me recover a forgotten item after our departure. Forever grateful!

    Merveilleux séjour !

    L’un des meilleurs endroits où nous avons séjourné en Irlande. Très belle propriété. Souci du détail et somptueuse décoration. Grand confort. Bien situé pour visiter Kilkenny et les environs. Je conseille fortement cet hébergement. Parfait pour deux couples ou une famille de 4 personnes.
