The host was extremely responsive and helpful whenever needed. Traveling solo, this was a perfect spot for a two week stay, and the location was perfect (across from Aldgate tube stop).

Great neighborhood

This flat had everything we needed. We were in town for the London Marathon and the location was ideal. Close to two Tube stations, a market next door, and wonderful food options steps from the door.

This is a fabulous place to stay in London. The flat offers access to the Tube (Circle and District lines), is within walking district of Tower Bridge/Tower of London, is well equipped, and the property is well managed with kind and accessible property managers. Much more spacious than a hotel and affords you the ability to make breakfast and do laundry.

Great location, good communication

This is a great little flat for a couple or small family to explore London from. The Aldgate neighborhood offers lots of dining and shopping options with access to 4 tube lines within a block or so. The Homely Stays team was responsive and helpful throughout our stay. The flat was quiet and clean (just some rumbles from passing trains to remind you you're in the city). Kitchen and bath provided all we needed, plus the washing machine is a big plus.

The appartment is great, small but is good enought for 2 adults and 2 teenagers. The host help always and answers really faster. Few things that should be great to have is a bigger brush to clean the appartment, and some others trays to heat food on the oven. The neighborhood is peacefull and really nice, near London Tower. I trully recomend this appartment.

Handy location

The apartment was fine though the bed was not even a double, maybe a super single. One of us slept on couch and the other had the bed. This unit is on the top floor so if it’s hot out, which it was, its unbearable. It had all the basics.

Apartment is close to Aldgate Tube Station

The apartment was small and tight and better for one or two people instead of the four we had. The bed was probably a double sized bed but it seemed small for a double bed and my feet hung over the end. The apartment was clean but there were some cockroaches. It was very convenient to the Aldgate Tube Station. And Mark and Yoshito were very responsive to questions or concerns.

Thank you Craig for taking the time to leave us a review. We do apologise your stay was not up to your expectations. We regret that you have not let us know straight away of the cockroach issue you have had. This is a new problem that we now can address with the help of a professional pest control service. We wish you had used the WhatsApp group we created to let us know. This is the reason we have put this easy communication line in place. We do try our best to address any questions and issues from our guests. It was unfortunate we were not informed during your stay in order to rectify the issues which we hope would have made your stay more pleasurable. Regarding the size of the apartment, it can indeed be felt as small for a family of 4. It is a 32m2 studio, so large by London standards. But the fact that it is a studio is reflected in the price. We do have a 2 bedroom apartment as well coming up soon in the area that will offer you more space and the convenience of a central location, if you wish to stay with us again in the future.

Good location near Aldgate Underground

My family of 4 needed a place to stay near to the Aldgate Underground. We found this unit and it was a great find considering our needs. The property managers were very communicative and made the whole process very easy. We found the kitchen and bathrooms to be great spaces and we used them effectively. I also liked very much the checkout process where we weren’t asked to clean up, put out garbage and so on. This was a great help. One thing to be aware of is that coming off the elevator you have to go down some steps then go back up some steps to get into the unit. With all of our bags, this was a hassle and we would have preferred to not have had to do all that lifting checking in and checking out.

Great flat, great location

Flat is so cute and has all you need. The best part about this place, is it’s location to the London Tube, buses, and the Thames River - I would stay here again.

Yoshito and Mark are very good property managers and their communication was great. My wife and I were impressed with the space overall. The Aldgate area was a good option for us. I would recommend Soho as well for those looking for more dining/nightlife options. The property itself checked all of the boxes we required.
