A beautiful 6 bedroom period house spread across 3 floors with total privacy, modern decor, landscaped gardens, ideal for outdoor living & entertainment - including hot tub, sauna, large gas BBQ, games room, outdoor ping pong table, sun loungers and breakaway seating areas. Beautifully situated in the fashionable area of Caldy, near West Kirby with viewsn across the Wirral Peninsula, the gardens back onto a private entrance to the Woodlands of Caldy Hill. A short walk to the beach and restaurants - this house and area has it all! Perfect for a 5* UK holiday.. 2 Bedroom cottage on grounds sometimes available for add on rental POA.

Excellent property with all amenities as mentioned. Wonderful views, towards our ancestral home, Liverpool. Convenient for all travelling throughout our stay. Just wish we could have controlled the weather!

Just as it looks in the photos. Have done many of these big family holuday lets and this was definitely high up on the list. Location was great, very near to open countryside, beach , town and city. The bouldering hut at Ellesmerewas also a success. Pis

60th birthday family celebration

Lovely house, bedrooms very comfortable, gardens lovely and well equipped, unfortunately couldnt make much use of this space due to the bad weather. Kitchen a good social space kitchen well equipped.The cottage was lovely the only criticism would be that the kitchen was not equipped with anything, no glasses plates etc.

Fabulous location for a family reunion

We had 16 family members, including 5 kids aged 7-18 and my wheelchair bound mother, staying at Brackenwood. We had a blast. The kids spent hours playing table tennis or soccer kick ups and card games. We managed to take lovely hikes down to West Kirby beach area. We took a day out to climb Mount Snowdon in North Wales. We found a park to have a family football match. The house itself was perfect with bathrooms for all the families. The kitchen was hub for cooking, chatting and dining. And the living room was perfect with a fire to end the night. We also got to use the sauna and hot tub in between lounging on the deck, chatting. On top of all that, the host and the checkin and checkout process was perfect. So responsive and accomodating. Would highly recommend!

Lovely short family break

After leaving it last minute to book somewhere fir half term break with the family of four and our dog - we were delighted to be able to book Brockenwood for 4 nights. It looks lovely on the website but in truth the pictures don't do it total justice- it exceeded our expectations. 3 of the bedrooms are really lovely- the bunk bed room we didn't need to use- but we had lots of space to spread and truly relax. Going on family walks through the woods at the back of the house and up to Caldy Hill and The Wirral Way with the dog was super Not least coming back to a lovely bath or shower in one of the many luxurious bathrooms Both the kitchen and sitting room.amd snug all.had Sky TV- allowing everyone to relax and watch what they want at any given time. The highlight were the gorgeous hot tub with its many different light up colours and sauna - a real treat every evening. The hosts couldn't be more welcoming on our arrival and throughout - would highly recommend amd we shall definitely be returning!

This house was perfect for our group of eight and could have slept many more. It was such a lovely place to come home and relax after long days of sightseeing and golf. The house is huge and plenty of room to spread out. There is a wonderful back porch with a huge table, couches and chairs to enjoy the outdoors.The location is perfect with unlimited transportation, restaurants, shopping, and the beach close by.The host was incredibly helpful to us and so kind and lovely. She was so welcoming and responsive throughout our whole trip. We loved it. The property is not as well maintained outside as the photos show, but that did not hinder our trip at all. We had two cars and plenty of room to park them at the property.
