Cette maison, construite par un constructeur de bateaux artisan local, est nichée dans un cadre privé mais idéalement située dans le quartier historique de Jenison Park, à proximité de nombreuses activités.
Cottage met en valeur le concept à aire ouverte, les nouveaux meubles confortables, mis à jour avec les nouveaux téléviseurs 55 "et 47", le WiFi, le cùble et une connectivité totale! Une nouvelle fonctionnalité pour 2019 est l'ajout d'un systÚme de climatisation, pour votre confort!
Décor invitant à travers ce chalet, cheminée, vues boisées et beaucoup d'intimité.
Cottage a 2 chambres à coucher; 1 avec un lit King, 2Úme avec une reine, les deux avec protÚge-matelas. Le sofa sectionnel confortable offre une option de sommeil supplémentaire.
Nouveau systÚme d'air central installé, la zone boisée offre de belles brises de lac!
1 1/2 salles de bains, laveuse et sécheuse, cuisine bien équipée avec ßlot de snack-bar et salle à manger.
Les portes coulissantes s'ouvrent sur le pont avec une table et de nombreux siÚges. Vous pouvez faire griller des guimauves ou raconter des histoires autour du foyer, griller des steaks sur le gril à gaz ou simplement vous détendre dans le hamac et profiter de la brise de la plage et du son des vagues à proximité!

The location made it easy to get to downtown Holland, the State Park, and nearby Saugatuck. The quiet street and wooded lot felt peaceful. The accommodations were adequate and the home decor was cute and comfortable. Our 4-star rating is due to the home smelling a bit musty, the interior of the home was not well-lit (the living room needs more lamps), the inability to adjust the thermostat made climate control less than favorable (lack of air circulation made it feel stuffy at times), and even with using our streaming services, navigating the satellite TV was challenging. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and exploring the nearby attractions and dining options.

The house was clean and nice layout. The issues I have are 1. the instructions for the locks, internet, etc. were not very clear. We ended up getting locked out of the house for almost 2 hrs because we locked the door handle and there were no keys left for us. We didn't know that we had to lock the house using the key pad. 2. the internet stinks. It wasn't very strong so every time we watched a show we would lose the picture every 10 min or so because of the spooling. 3. There is no cable or regular tv. We had to watch LG live tv which means we couldn't watch any of the regular channels like NBC, CBS, etc. Nor would we get in any of the local sports teams. For the cost of the rental I think we should have be able to watch basic cable. 4. The lighting in the living room was not very good. No overhead lights, just a couple of lamps which was very poor for reading.

We experienced a pretty significant cleanliness issue (totally just human error) that was resolved by day 2 of our stay. Once we were able to get ahold of Kathy, it was resolved quickly and made right, and her customer service was excellent. We would come back! Location is great for proximity to numerous lovely spots, and the property is beautiful. The pictures don't do it justice, and the home and backyard are great comfy spaces.

So Cute

Located very close to a harbor, a small quiet beach within a mile, and not very far away from downtown Holland. We loved it. We will likely be booking this property again next year.

Clean, dark, cottage

The property had no usable TV. No news channels, no PBS. On top of that, the lighting was so poor that one could not read. I had three books with me to no avail.

Tulip time in Holland

My husband and I went to Holland to see the tulips. This home is very secluded and peaceful, yet within easy traveling distance from all the activities. The beds were comfortable. The home was a little warm when we got there, we are used to keeping our home at 66 degrees in the cooler weather. The furnace was running and keeping the home warm. The outside temperature turned warmer and then the house was comfortable. It is unusual to be told not the touch the thermostat, but leave it at 71 degrees. The backyard light was out which made it difficult to use the backyard at night. We walked our dog in the front. The biggest problem we had was the television. The reception is not the greatest and we lost the station we were watching regularly. We did like the size of the home, lots of room to move around and comfortable furniture. All in all we enjoyed our stay.

Perfect location

We appreciated the host had left items for our use. It is nice not to have to go out and buy basics like salt and pepper. A small goody container was left!! Nice touch. Lots of room outdoor sitting area. Great location minutes away from events. See you again...next Tulip Time.

Great Easy Host and Perfect Location

First off, we live in Colorado in a resort town, and I grew up in West Michigan, so our expectations were high, and met. We had family staying east of hwy 31, and in Saugatuck, and we attended a wedding at the Felt Mansion. The location for this was perfect. My Mom is 83 and has some mobility issues and she navigated the house with no problems. Great easy walks with our dog Jake. Kathy is a great communicating host, but not too much :). Thank you Kathy!

Minutes from Holland, minutes from the beach.

The location is perfect for a visit to the Holland area. Visits to resort towns are a reasonable drive for a day of sight seeing. The cottage is immaculate and well equipped for visitors. It is in a quiet, wooded lot and was a good size for us and our small dog. The home has wifi but does not have cable.

Grandson 10 year old vacation

This is our last grandson to take on a 10-year-old vacation all by himself with Grammy and Grampy. We had wonderful weather in Holland, Michigan and he enjoyed everything we did and was disappointed when he heard we were leaving the next day. He lives in a really large house in Ohio, but he thought this house was wonderful.

Terrific location, cozy surroundings

We lived in the area for 35 years and were returning for a visit with family & friends. This cottage is in such a lovely area, a few miles out of town and very wooded. Close to hiking trails, Lake Macatawa harbors and all the fun things in downtown Holland without being in the center of town. The fall colors were awesome in Mid-October and we enjoyed campfires in the backyard in the evening. Kathy was a superb correspondent and we appreciated that our pets traveling with us were accommodated - they had lots of space around the house to stretch their legs.

Relaxing Stay

We had a very nice and relaxing getaway! The house is cozy and comfortable and very well-equipped. We enjoyed the family of deer that would come daily in the woods behind the house. The house is private and tucked away yet close to all amenities. It was the perfect escape for our family. Saugatuck is 15 minutes away and we enjoyed shopping there and taking scenic drives and walks. Big thanks to Kathy for letting us enjoy her lovely house and for her great communication.

Exploring Michigan

We spent 5 days here and loved the house. It was a perfect place to set up to explore the area. Everything was as described, minimal contact with the property manager (nothing went wrong so this was perfect). Simple check in/ check out process.
