Bay Cottage is pretty, mid-terrace cottage resting in Cullercoats, Tyne and Wear. Hosting two bedrooms, including a king-size and a twin bedroom, along with a ground-floor bathroom, this property can sleep up to four guests. There is also a kitchen, a living/dining room with multi-fuel stove and a utility room. Outside there is off-road parking for two cars and an enclosed, rear garden with gravel and furniture. Bay Cottage is a lovely dwelling for a family trip to the coast. Please note: There are stairs in the property that may make the property unsuitable for those with limited mobility.

Great winter mini break base
Characterful warm cottage, perfect base for walking the coast and exploring area. Did not move car as great quiet location. Good local shop, great independent cafes and places to eat.

Perfect location but Sykes has some refurb work to do
Good things: A fantastic location right near the beach, very spacious living area and two nice bedrooms with comfy beds.
Room to improve:
The cleaner was lovely and did a great job but there is ground in dirt and the cottage has been refurbished on the cheap.
Basics like oven gloves missing.
Heating not working as Hive pad broken.
Clearly a damp problem in the kitchen and bathroom that needs addressing.
Water pipe outside appears blocked.
Poor security - flimsy locks on front and back doors.
If this had been a personal let I would have been softer but Sykes is a big firm and the cottage requires work.
Overall we did enjoy our stay.
