Super Unterkunft

We had a wonderful time at Villa Limonchello. Our hosts were always very helpful and made our stay very pleasant. The private pool was our highlight, and we really enjoyed it in the sun.

Villa Limoncello is a lovely property just back off the north coast of Corfu with beautiful garden views over a valley and hills beyond. The private garden with pool is lovely / spacious and although the hosts live nearby our privacy was always maintained. Although the villa is well equipped with everything you need, it was a little dated (perhaps some would say traditional) with a few things beginning to look and feel worn out. The air conditioning worked great with what looked like new units. The narrow entrance driveway is off a main road with a very steep driveway - not a problem as such but our car was underpowered and struggled a little with the slope. There was some road noise but not really noticeable when in the villa, only a little when in the garden.The location was very central for getting around the island, with shops, supermarkets, amenities and tavernas nearby plus many lovely beaches, which were usually a 15 minute drive away. The one thing to note about this location is that it is in the countryside - and whilst not a problem at all because the scenery is beautiful, if you stay here in September then expect see a lot of wasps. They are particularly prevalent when the fruit harvesting season starts; generally they didn't bother us but it meant that we couldn't dine out on the veranda. Overall Villa Limoncello is lovely and we would recommend it as a great place to stay noting the few things we have mentioned in this review.

The house is very pretty and has everything. The most notable thing is the kindness of the owners. Aleko and Dora are pure kindness. Upon arrival, they gave us a little gift of typical island things. They gave us recommendations and were there for anything we needed. We will always remember this vacation fondly. Thank you!

Fantastic villa in beautiful surroundings

This villa deserves a 10 out of 10, amazing. So spacious, private pool, well equipped. And than the owners, the nicest people. They even brought us diner one night. We will come back when being on Corfu island

We are a family of 5 (2 adults and 3 kids) and we were in search of a property that provided space for us to enjoy as a family, in the countryside yet within reach of places of interest. This place did not disappoint. From the moment we walked in the door, we knew we had made the best choice. The place was spotless and check in was 24 hours and easy as we arrived on a late flight. You can tell the hosts put their heart and soul into the property and that looking after the guests makes their hearts happy. They had left us 2 welcome baskets with traditional Greek products. They have a fully equipped spotless kitchen with dishwasher. They left shower gels and shampoos etc in the bathroom. They had the towels folded beautifully on all the beds and they even had things like a hair dryer and different types of wall plug adapters. The hosts are neighbours so the pool and gardens are well looked after. They even knocked the door one night to offer us baklava and limoncello drinks to try. They advised us where would be lovely to visit during our trip. They also offered to clean the property during the middle of our stay which we availed of and appreciated. We had hired a car so the property location was perfect for us exploring the north of the island mostly but the waterpark and Corfu town etc wasn’t far. The view when sitting at the pool at this property was breathtaking. Make sure you get up early at least once to watch the beautiful sunrise. Thank you for the perfect stay!

We were very warmly welcomed by the family who were living in the adjacent apartment. The house was spotlessly clean, and the pool has a stunning view over the hills, with beautiful sunrises. A ~10 minute drive to the resort town of Sidari, and in easy reach by car of the pretty town of Kassiope. Thank you!

Une trs belle exprience

We loved our stay with Alekos and Theodora at Villa Limoncello. We particularly appreciated their sense of hospitality, their kindness, their availability and their discretion. The house has everything we needed, it is remarkably well maintained inside and out. The view from the garden is breathtaking, the fruit trees, lemon trees, apricot trees... as well as the magnificent flowers perfectly complete this picture. The villa is very well located because it is close to the beaches, shops for groceries but also picturesque hiking trails. It is a perfect place for a vacation, we felt at home there. A big thank you to our hosts for their hospitality as well as all their attention, we will not forget them! We highly recommend!!

We had a wonderful stay at Sofronios' house. The beautiful large garden with a beautiful view was especially beautiful. Sofronios and his family are very friendly and ready for the guests. Erg mooi en prettige villa

Wij hebben 2 weken genoten als gezin op dit prachtige eiland in deze prachtige villa. Erg compleet ingericht, beddengoed en handdoeken zaten erbij. Ruim opgezet met 3 slaapkamers, mooie tuin en heerlijk zwembad. Beheerders erg vriendelijk en goed contact mee. Heerlijke bakkerij ( la bocca) dichtbij. Dankzij deze prachtige locatie een geweldig verblijf gehad.
