Stylish, bright and peaceful south side home

Located in Deaconsbank, the leafy, southside of Glasgow. Surrounded by beautiful parks & golf courses with the lovely Rouken Glen Park and Dams to Darnley trail on the doorstep. Buses, trains and also M77 motorway very close by. Great access to the coast, city centre and further afield to explore the beauty of Scotland. Superfast wifi and free parking. 1 twin & 1 double bedroom, kitchen, dining & living area & bathroom (shower only, no bath).

The perfect place for business or leisure, the house has a lovely cute and peaceful south facing garden with deck to relax and enjoy the outside. There are lots of great places to visit locally including. Pollak Park is nearby too with a great cafe and lots to see and do. The coast is also only about a 20 minute drive and Troon and Prestwick are both lovely. We love eating dinner in the harbour in Troon at Scotts with views of the boats (booking essential) or fish and chips from the Wee Hurrie (take out only). Edinburgh is also only an hour away and also Loch Lomond. STRICTLY NON SMOKING.

Lovely property

We had a lovely stay one of the cleanest rentals we have stayed in had everything we needed beds very comfortable and kitchen well stocked for our month long stay hosts very easy to contact and made our stay very comfortable we would definitely stay here again.

A great place to stay, the host is very responsive and helpful!

Great place to stay while visiting Glasgow and the surrounding area. The neighborhood is very safe and not far from Glasgow Center. The host was very responsive and helpful with any questions we had. It was very clean and furnished with bedding, towels, and kitchen accessories (washing up liquid, hand soap, etc.). We would definitely stay here again!

Delightful Quiet Spot to stay

I had a wonderful stay. Marcie was warm and welcoming and provided me with a lot of information about the area. I used Uber to get into the city but there are other ways to get there should you want to. There were plenty of places I could walk to for groceries and the such. I would gladly stay here again.

Clean, quiet, out of the way place

Check in was easy, the place was very clean and very quiet. There is a nice park/grassy area which was a nice surprise right out behind the place. It had all the basics such as toilet paper, soap, etc so that was nice. Host was very communicative. One thing to be mindful of- the host had mentioned most people who stay have their own car, we risked it and ended up spending about 16-30 pounds each way to go back and forth between the city and house. We had anticipated using the train, as we don’t mind a walk and it is doable if you don’t have mobility issues, but it cost 20 pounds for a family of four each trip, so it was cheaper to just do the Ubers and not have to wait. The bus may have been cheaper but we didn’t have the time to figure out the schedules. Just be aware as we did not factor that cost into it. Otherwise it was a very nice stay if you are looking to be out of the city and somewhere quiet. If you had a car this place would be perfect as it was only 15-20 minutes outside of city center. Thank you so much, it was lovely.

Our great hosts have given us fantastic local tips for sightseeing and eating out, enabling us to experience holidays like the locals. I love cooking and am partial to a 1/4 of a glass of wine now and then. Seems to be my limit! I have a passion for sewing and am self taught from a very young age.
