A beautiful place to stay

We (4 adults) stayed a wonderful week at Casa Viña. Hilary and Andrew are spectacular host and the inside and outside of the cottage are breathtaking. Everything you could ever need is provided to make this the perfect place for a vacation on Tenerife. Don't hesitate to book this gem of a place!

Loads of equipment in kitchen and some basic food items which made the first day really easy, great communication from hosts. The photos don't do justice to the garden - it's a really beautiful oasis. Pool nice size with great views. Downsides - access road is quite narrow/steep but you quickly get used to it. Beaches in this area less appropriate for swimming as sea quite rough but much quieter than in the south. Good access to nice walks. Less touristy than other areas. Did whale spotting, kayaking with dolphins, snorkelling and some hiking in Teide/Anaga mountains/around Oratava - all recommended!

We had the BEST stay at Casa Viña - we will 100% be booking again! Hillary had great communication upon booking all the way to when we checked in. Andrew was also great at keeping us updated and was a fabulous host whilst we were there, making sure we had everything we needed, providing reccomendations/directions, firewood, and even a bottle of Prosecco on my Mum’s birthday that was a great touch. We got to spend lots of time with the gorgeous golden retrievers Cally, flossie and Hettie which really made our trip.The villa itself was more than we could have asked for, had everything you could need and a big welcome basket was left of various food and drink which helped us to get started. You can tell how much work Andrew/Hillary have put into this villa and it definitely has a personal touch. The hot tub, pool, gym area, multiple terraces all added to what made our stay so amazing. We honestly could not have had a better time and couldn’t be happier that we found Casa Viña. Thank you again Andrew and Hillary.

Casa Vina, La Orotava

We spent two weeks in October/November at Casa Vina which is on the hillside above the vibrant town of La Orotava. Hilary and Andrew live next door and made sure we had everything we needed, helping us with several good restaurant tips. We found the beds and living rooms comfortable but the main attraction is the beautiful outside area which has four separate seating areas alongside a heated pool and jacuzzi. The views over the town to the coast are great and we enjoyed several impressive sunsets. There are a couple of walkable restaurants but we mainly drove into town or to neighbouring Puerto de la Cruz which has a huge selection. This is an ideal place to relax.

Just perfect

From booking, through to arrival, stay and departure (as well as produce from their garden!) Hilary and Andrew were the best and most thoughtful hosts. My husband, daughter and I had a wonderful time at this villa in Oratava. The gardens created by Andrew are delightful and the swimming pool is lovely. The house is very well equipped. We ate every meal outside where there are two bbqs and a pizza oven.The location is great for walking on Mt Teide and going to the seaside. And if you don't want to cook, there are some great restaurants a short drive away. We will be back!

Orotava gem

My wife & I along with our 2 older kids (27 & 26) and a family friend stayed in this nice Orotava home for a week. The hosts Hilary& Andrew were extremely friendly and helpful with questions and recommendations throughout our planning process and stay. They even gave us a wonderful welcome basket of food and drinks which was a nice unexpected extra! The home is located within walking distance of town as well as 2 guachinches which are a "must do" food and wine experience while in Tenerife. The house was well appointed with everything we could need and the hot tub was a nice perk. The house is centrally located so hiking in Anaga or Teide National parks was less than an hour drive. We did 2 oher local hikes within 15 min of house which were great as well. The drive to Santa Cruz for the farmers market was less than an hour as well. There is a nice banana plantation tour less than 10 min from house. Trips to Southern Tenerife for a fishing charter and sunset catamaran were just over an hour. So much to do and see within an hour either North or South! Beds very comfy and kitchen well stocked. The rooftop patio was great for stargazing and having lunch or coffee. We also enjoyed building a fire in the outdoor firepit after hot tub while enjoying Tenerife wine. Nice way to relax after some long hikes. Overall, this home is hard to beat with all the amenities offered, the wonderful hosts and great location. We can't wait to return!

Petit coin de paradis

Nous avons été accueillis chaleureusement par Andrew et Hillary. Ils nous ont fait visité la maison et expliqué tout ce qu'il était important de savoir. Nous avons eu le plaisir d'avoir un pacquage d'accueil très sympa : gâteau maison, de quoi se restaurer dans le frigo, des boissons, des produits de toilettes... La maison elle même est un pur bonheur, tout est très bien agencé, la piscine et le jacuzzi sont très appréciables ainsi que les multiples espaces extérieurs. Les hôtes répondent toujours présents si l'on a besoin d'eux, ils sont très attentifs et très discrets aussi. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour et souhaitons y retourner.

Tolles Haus mit allem, was das Herz begehrt

Ein wirkliches tolles Ferienhaus mit super gepflegter großer Gartenanlage sowie traumhafter Aussicht auf Meer und Teide. Super Ausstattung inkl. tollem Swimmingpool und großem Jacuzzi. Sehr nette und hilfsbereite Vermieter - zur Begrüßung gab es einen sehr leckeren selbst gebackenen Kuchen!
