Au-dessus de la mer houleuse, la Villa Sublime, taillée dans une falaise, jouit d'une vue imprenable sur l'océan.

Elle est assez proche pour sentir le sel, et la bande sonore des vacances est celle des vagues qui martèlent les rochers.

Il est situé près d'Azenhas do Mar, un village d'aspect méditerranéen dont les petites maisons tombent sur l'Atlantique, créant un paysage pittoresque qui a inspiré les peintres et orné les cartes postales.

Loved the views and the beautiful accommodations, perfect location and central access to the town for a quick market shop was just what we needed. 03/12/25 Because we were there during a windy time, the fireplace that wasn't in working order was very loud in the house because of the wind. It would be great to remove the vent funnel to reduce the wind noise in the future for guests.

Lovely house in a beautiful location. House really well stocked and fitted out for a long stay. View was absolutely unbeatable. Definitely needed a car, only a couple of very little restaurants in walking distance. If good weather, this would be a perfect place to relax and enjoy!

I can't say enough about our stay and the professionalism and kindness shown. The Villa was absolutely perfect and in the most quaint community with stunning views at every turn. The sun sets in the front yard so prepare to be awestruck! A bit of paradise awaits ... enjoy!

A lovely place to stay for a few weeks in a very picturesque village. Pool was ideal for what we needed. Very close to Sintra, so good for sightseeing - but be sure to book a ticket before you go. Also easier to access Sintra by tram from the next village over rather than drive in peak season. 10/08/24

We loved the house and location

We loved the house and location. We spent every night out on the patio, swimming, and later sitting by the fire. We took day trips to Sintra, Cascais, Obidos, Cabo da Roca and Fatima. All trips were within 1.5 hours. We had a chef in for 2 nights and we enjoyed the Portuguese wine and food. Getting there from Lisbon was very easy and the beaches along the way were beautiful. It was a very enjoyable vacation!

We hated to leave! The villa is lovely, perfectly situated directly on the coast. It's a charming seaside village, with 2 excellent restaurants in walkable distance to the villa. Truly Sublime

We all loved our stay at the Villa Sublime. Though the weather was a little bit of everything we loved walking along the (very steep) bluffs and visiting the village. When the sun did come out we drove to the beaches for swimming in the very cold ocean. I do wish the pool was a hot tub for a post ocean warm up, but it was fine as a cool plunge. I'd be cautious with younger children near the bluff but for our crew with teenagers it was perfect!

My nieces 40th birthday

Truly Sublime

Truly Sublime. We all loved our stay at the Villa Sublime. Though the weather was a little bit of everything we loved walking along the (very steep) bluffs and visiting the village. This Villa has a beautiful view that can't be beat! The house is nicely furnished and there are nice amenities like a BBQ, outdoor furniture, and a well equipped kitchen. You'll find a gorgeous seaside restaurant nearby that you can access through the trail running behind the house and other small businesses like an Ice cream stand that are walkable. Be aware parking is on the roadan unpaved lot at the back. We didn't have an issue but this could be a concern if you have a vehicle that attracts attention. 07/04/24

Far too expensive for what it is.

Nice sea view laocated in a nice small village but... High season kicked in so the renting price ! 5.5k the week. We had too much problems that couldn't be solved during our stay. It's not worth the price when the main showers does not work properly, 2 sun beds for 7 people, could not use BBQ because it was too old/broken and then dangerous to use, some air con units not working properly.... I won't come back.

Amazing location, had the view of the ocean for ourselves, right on the cliff. It is quite secluded, no neighbours around, which added some extra magic. Id say that this place is all about the surroundings, which is worth the money. The house itself is cozy and simple. Couple of things to mention: It was written that they had a heated pool, however I guess I misread the description that it takes the whole day to heat it and costs some extra money to do so. Also the wifi would not work in our bedrooms, only in the living room. It did not ruin our stay however, something to improve on. The welcome gift was a nice touch, thank you for everything ! 28/02/24

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

The villa is situated 11.2 km from Sintra, and 20 km from the cosmopolitan Cascais, with its marina, entertainment, shopping, beaches, restaurants, coffee shops, delightful terraces by the sea, not to mention the buzz of a very active nightlife. Estoril, that has the biggest casino in Europe, is only 28 km away. Lisbon, the capital with its cosmopolitan atmosphere, monuments, restaurants and Fado, is only 40 min. away. Guincho, with its surrounding natural park, is highly recommended for beach & sports holidays. But along the coast the choice of other beaches is endless. Guincho is famous for water sports activities, white sandy family beaches, all within a 20 min drive.

For golfers, there are 6 golf courses, 30 minutes away:

1) Quinta da Marinha
Set amongst beautiful pine trees and stretching down to Guincho beach, it has some of the most majestic sceneries in Portugal. Its hole number 13, a Par 4 descending to the sea, is a picture postcard of Portuguese golf.
2) Oitavos
It's the 1st Golf Course in Europe and the 2nd in the World to become a Certified Signature Sanctuary - Gold.
3) Penha Longa
Enjoys championship characteristics, an excellent level of maintenance and beautiful panoramic views over the Sintra mountain range.
4) Estoril
One of the oldest and best-known golf courses in Portugal. Many champions - including Max Faulkner and Seve Ballesteros - have walked the fairways of this course.
5) Quinta da Beloura
Fine views over the Sintra mountain range and a course surrounded by trees provide a very pleasurable game of golf.
6) Belas
Designed by Rocky Roquemore. Its eighteen holes extend over 6,128 metres for a Par 72.
