Absolutely amazing cottage. The views are spectacular. Very quiet and relaxing. Well appointed and stocked home. Margaret and David are lovely and so helpful. We had trouble with our cell coverage and they were so helpful! Just a stellar stay!

We had a wonderful experience - the house was lovely, gorgeous location, very clean and great amenities. The hosts were wonderful. We were sad to leave so soon and would definitely come back on a next trip to Skye. Highly recommended!

This beautiful, spacious home with a stunning view is well situated to explore all of Skye. Close to Portree and with excellent access to the north and eastern areas, we thoroughly enjoyed the in and out ease.While at the house, the well equipped kitchen, wood stove and comfortable bedrooms made for a delightfully easy stay.

Great locale for visiting Skye

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely cottage. A short drive to Portree and good access to everything from the Fairy Pools, Talisker, Dunvegan, Old Man of Storr, and Fairy Glen.

The property is clean and well equipped with wonderful views over towards the Isle of Harris in the distance. We liked the somewhat out of the way location and it made exploring north and central Skye straightforward. The hosts were friendly and very proactive in advising and welcoming us. We’d highly recommend this property.

Amazing cottage and view

This cottage is amazing and has a spectacular view. The location provides a good amount of privacy and peace to just relax and is a good base for exploring the rest of the island.

Wonderfull place

The view is amazing ! The place is the best to visit all skye. The Hill cottage is " un petit bijou" as we say in french. We will love to come again !

Magical location

The property is 1st class everything you could hope for to get away. Isle of Skye scenery is magnificent, wether it be mountains lochs or seas your looking this place is highly recommended.

Simply wonderful

The house is charming, modern, clean and very well supplied. The view is breathtaking. The location is ideal—close enough to Portree to be convenient, but well away from the bustle. We loved our time there and highly recommend Hill Cottage.

Perfect wee cottage

Hill Cottage was exactly what we were hoping for on Skye. It is well situated for our excursions around the Trotternish peninsula. We wanted to stay longer just to appreciate the views. If we get the chance to come back to Skye, we will definitely stay here again.

This was the best accommodations of our 12 day trip. Highly recommend. Well equipped. Longer curtain on hall bath or door may help with long term maintenance. Fan over hob was loud. Loved this place.

Lovely and Quiet

This house is well taken care of and has an amazing view over the bay. We went through some incredibly windy nights and the house was quiet and toasty. Would love to spend more time in this area of Skye.

Lovely home with a beautiful view of a Loch.

Such a charming home with views of the loch from the bedrooms and living room. The owner was helpful and friendly. Spacious kitchen with everything one needs to make a meal. Lots of closet space and laundry area was perfect for our needs. Would recommend to anyone and stay there again if had the chance.

Amazing

The cottage is wonderful. Beautiful views from every window. Nice kitchen that is well stocked to prepare meals (grocery store is about 15 minutes away in Portree). Bedrooms were very comfortable and nicely appointed. Would definitely recommend to others!

Outstanding!

A newer property with excellent construction and a beautiful location our family enjoyed the Hill Cottage enormously. The pictures are accurate and everything was as expected and in some cases even better. A strong recommend for a group of four or less for a holiday on The Isle of Skye!

Nice Stay with helpful Owners

We enjoyed our stay in late May 2022 in this clean and tidy private cottage, which has nice views across the lochs. Kitchen and property in general had all that we needed. The weather did not cooperate much during our holiday, but the cottage kept us warm and dry. Owners were helpful with restaurant suggestions and happy to give other advice.
