Had an amazing stay in OlhĂŁo with Nelson and Paula! The nicest people we have encountered on our trip in Europe! They provided us with everything that we could possibly need and gave us so many recommendations to explore their town. They made us feel so welcomed and went above and beyond to make our stay the best! Highly recommend staying at this studio as it has everything you need for a great stay in the Algarve!

Cosy clean apartment

The hosts were lovely and very communicative even before we arrived and the check in process was seamless and the apartment was as described. It’s small just cosy and just right for short stays. It’s in a good location and we walked everywhere as there’s a lot nearby.

It’s small, but there is everything what you need, even more. It’s very clean. We stayed for 8 days and after four days they cleaned the studio, we had fresh linens and towels, which I appreciate very much. The owner is very friendly and nice. House in Olhao

Fantastic stay! Exactly as described. Everything we needed was provided and our hosts were always on hand with advice and suggestions for places to visit. They were both very friendly and very careful to protect our privacy. Communication with them was very easy.

Two sisters

My sister and I stayed one night in this cute apartment. It is snug, but had everything we needed. We met Nelson and Paula, who welcomed us with information about what was close by. Easy walk into Olhao, which had restaurants, bakeries, shops, and a park along the harbour. A nice visit.

Lovely studio with amazing hosts

Our stay at this little studio was wonderful. The apartment is small but well equipped so there is everything you need. The outside area is quite big and comfy. We have had a great time in OlhĂŁo. We are still impressed by the hospitality from the hosts. They made the stay perfect by providing many and detailed suggestions for day trips around the area and by offering to help whereever they could! They even spoiled us with regional specialities. All in all we can highly recommend a stay in this wonderful apartment and a big thank you to the hosts!

Amazing

Nelson and his wife were incredible kind, generous and helpful. We were amazed by their hospitality and they were so invested on making our stay special. They even made us a program suggesting places we should visit based on the duration of our safe. The studio was confortable and fully equipped. It was definitely on of the best places we’ve stayed at if not the best. We can’t thank them enough for how they made us feel and We highly recommend their place. God bless you

Very gracious hosts

The place is exactly as described. Everything that is needed for a comfortable stay is there. Nelson and Paula are wonderful people, very helpful in making suggestions for day trips and sightseeing, Nelson sends us all information right down to google map. He took us on a tour around town on our first day. We were lucky that on our last day at Olhao, Nelson had to go to Faro, he very generously offered to give us a ride to the bus station. We would stay at Nelson's place again. If you coming to Olhao, book his place. You will love it too. ffor us to navigate.mapiquick response

Excellent Stay

Nelson and Paula are the most perfect hosts, happy to help but also show respect and privacy. Accommodation is modern, clean and everything one or two people would require. Easy 15 min Uber from Faro Airport. 15 min walk to train station and cheap tickets to Tavira (and Tavira Island with amazing beach)and Fuseta, both a must see. 20 mins brisk walk to front in Olhao. Bus service available but i like to walk. Ferry to one of the islands from Olheo also not to be missed. Olhao is a beautiful fishing town. All in all a beautiful, relaxing holiday. Thank you Nelson and Paula.

Avoiding the Scottish winter

As a solo traveller this was perfect accommodation. Communication from the outset was both reliable and informative. I met both Nelson and Paula on day 1 but most of my communication/contact was through Nelson who had a good grasp of the English language to help me. Both however were lovely and Paula’s English was impressive. Nelson was extremely generous with his time and support offering me suggestions where to visit and ride my bike on a daily basis. He was most sincere and a joy to chat to when not busy. Both were very respectful of my privacy. The accommodation was completely as described. It was super clean and I could not find fault with anything. Great location for exploring on foot or by train. They both have a genuine intent to offer the best of holidays for guests. Highly recommended. If I return to Portugal, I would not look beyond staying with the best hosts again.

Wonderful!

The most amazing hosts. Their kindness, communication, thoughtfulness, and generosity were unexpected and appreciated! It started with NĂ©lson picking me up at my bust stop and taking me on a drive around OlhĂŁo. Paula took me on a tour of the studio which was super clean and homey and had almost all you need other than your food. If you're able to travel by walking it's pretty easy to get around, but if you'd like to ride there is a bus stop on the corner. There are a few snack bars very close and Aldi/Pingo Doce are a couple kms away so you can walk or call a Bolt or Uber. The Mercado is 1.7km away and if you walk the route takes you thru an interesting old neighborhood. I will be back in a year or so and can't wait to stay here again and for a longer time! Oh, and please don't miss the ferry to Ilha do Farol, it is so beautiful and the water is cool and refreshing. Obrigada NĂ©lson and Paula!
