46m² holiday apartment with two rooms and terrace

Our 46 m² holiday apartment Herzogenhorn, located in the beautiful Black Forest offers everything you need for a relaxing holiday surrounded by nature.

The cozy apartment features:

a separate bedroom,

a combined living and dining area with a comfortable sitting corner and sofa bed

a fully equipped kitchen with oven,

a modern bathroom with shower and WC

and a terrace with a view of the forest.

The apartment is situated on the first floor of our house. Due to the hillside location (built into the rock), it corresponds to the third level, accessible via the staircase.

Enjoy the peace and quiet on your private terrace, right next to the forest, and spend cozy evenings by the fire bowl – perfect for barbecuing in good weather.

IFor even more relaxation, additional amenities are available in the house: Enjoy soothing warmth in our rock sauna (for a fee) or indulge yourself with a Reiki treatment (also for a fee). Additionally, you will find a lovingly designed space where drinks and specialities from the Black Forest are available for sale. Here, you will also find coffee machines, books, games, and irons available for free rental.

Whether you enjoy hiking, cycling, or simply relaxing, our apartment is the ideal starting point for your holiday in the Black Forest. Breathe in the fresh mountain air, enjoy the healing climate, and experience the tranquility of nature.

The climatic health resort Schönwald, with its location at an altitude of 1000 meters, is an ideal starting point for numerous activities in nature for people of all ages.

From here you can start your hikes or bike tours on the very well signposted trails.

In winter you can go cross-country skiing or skating on one of the many trails in the immediate vicinity of our house. Or you can explore the nature with snowshoes. Directly across from our apartment house is the Dobel ski lift with ski school and rental. Schönwald is considered in the region as one of the snow-safe places.

In addition, you can expect a wide range of leisure activities in Schönwald and the surrounding area: such as the Triberg Waterfalls, the German Clock Museum, Galaxy Slide Paradise and much more.

Two small supermarkets, butcher's store, bakery, beverage store, greengrocer's store and farms with direct marketing are within walking distance. And if you don't want to cook yourself, you can choose from a variety of restaurants.
