En bas a 2 chambres (1 lit queen, 2 lits jumeaux) et 2 salles de bain complètes. A l'étage se trouve la cuisine, le salon et le maître avec une autre salle de bain complète. Juste en bas de la rue de Commons Park, et avec un quai privé dans la communauté menant à l'accès aux marais pour la pêche et le crabe, c'est l'endroit idéal pour une escapade paisible sur Bald Head Island! Une voiturette de golf pour 6 passagers est incluse dans la location, et un abonnement temporaire au Shoals Club est disponible à l'achat séparé pour profiter de l'accès à la piscine privée, des restaurants et de la magnifique plage d'East Beach! Great Place to Stay

A nice stay, but a couple of minor notes. Chicamocamaco road was very busy with contractors. We could hear the neighbors' music well into the night (not obnoxious). The floors and carpets were quite dusty. The outdoor furniture was quite aged and appeared a bit dirty (not inviting). Minor items, and we enjoyed our stay.

Charming and great location

We w joyed a new golf cart and proximity to the shoals club. Even though it was mid July , this cottage was always cool in the maritime forest. We would rent again.

Wonderful Stay!

Loved the neighborhood dock that walks out on the marsh! Beautiful marble countertops and great styling in the home. We would for sure come back again. And the golf cart is fast and super luxury comfy seats!

Wedding weekend

Overall nice stay. Suitable for 2 couples and long weekend. Floor plan is quirky in that the primary bedroom doesn’t have a bathroom connected nor a closet for hanging clothes. Nestled in the maritime forest and very quiet. Enjoyed the bikes.

Keepers Landing 3 bedroom

Overall, we had a great stay at 1 Keeper's Landing. It's a well appointed home with comfortable bedding, nicely equipped kitchen and close to all that we love about BHI (close to Shoals Club, East beach, and Turtle conservancy. Screened-in porch and decking are in need of a deep clean/power-wash. Nonetheless, this was a really comfortable and enjoyable spot to spend a week on this lovely island.

Perfect “girls weekend” house

We stayed at Keeper’s Landing for a long weekend and the house had everything we needed. We loved the decor, the kitchen was well stocked for cooking and the beds were comfy. There were some areas that had been overlooked by the cleaning crew, but very minor. Golf carts driving below the upstairs bedroom are noisy, but the gorgeous room makes up for a slight annoyance. We’d stay here again! Thank you!

Great house - love the eclectic art.

We have loved the island for over 20 years. I wish that the membership to the clubs were like they used to be. It does seem as though they do not want renters at the clubs. Not worth the huge fee per person. The house was great. Needs a little refresh of cookie sheets and non stick frying pans, steak knives and wine glasses. The new cart is awesome! Thank you!

Bald Head Island

The house was modern and up to date. We did however find a bug under the sheets on the bed and an old used coffee filter in a bowl in the cupboard and noodles in a cooking pot. (The cleaning crew needs to do better) The island has limited shopping and restaurant hours were very limited. We had two nights with only one option of a restaurant all others were closed. The island is excellent for those whom enjoy the beach, fishing and golf. No other amenities for entertainment are on the island. It would be nice to have mini golf as an option. The golf carts do tend to lose power quickly so u can’t expect to stay out all day. You’ll need to give the golf cart a charge. The ferry transportation was excellent along with the tram service.

Hey Jessica, we are sorry that you had this experience. All of our homes are on a maintenance pest control plan. We will address the cleaning issues with staff, Thank you for letting us know. As far as the mini golf and other entertainment amenities, the Island is a preserve and we cherish the fact that the island is still so in tune with nature. The carts do have to be plugged in after each use so they are ready when you need them.

Bait and Switch

If you look at the pictures available when choosing the property, you think it is a nice, upkept property. When we arrived, the first thing we see is a LOT of wood rot and mildew on the back screened in porch and on the cushions of the outdoor furniture. The amount of cobwebs and accumulated dirt leads me to believe that this has not been cleaned in months, if not longer. Inside, the lower bedroom carpets were filthy and had not been shampooed or vacuumed in awhile. In one of the lower bathrooms, there was hair all over the floor and the tile in the shower was not cleaned well. The upstairs dining room chair cushions were stained and so were the chairs in the living room area. In the pictures, you get an entirely different perspective of this property. I would not rent this place again, unless there is significant cleaning and outside upkeep done. The one good thing about this rental is that the beds were very comfortable and I did sleep ok. I cannot recommend this property to anyone in good faith. Otherwise, we loved Bald Head Island and will return, just not to this rental property.

We are disappointed to hear this review as we check in on all of our homes and nothing was mentioned during your stay. We have an emergency line and are on island 24/7 and would have been more than happy to come and help with any issues. We have steamed cleaned the carpets and this off season we will be getting all new floors in the bedrooms and renovating parts of the home along with new furniture. We do pressure wash the home once a year and have an exterior crew that wipes the furniture down along with blowing the porches. We would have loved the opportunity to help in anyway.

Relaxing getaway!

Mixed Feelings

We rented this property for our anniversary weekend in late January. It was certainly Off The Grid, located in a dark and damp area of the island with no views or sunlight (aside from the master bedroom). I am pregnant and was concerned with the mold and dust all over the fan and ceilings in the main room. There were also logistical issues with the set-up of the home, like the TV that could not be seen from the sofa. We were hoping to get “Off The Grid” and knew most of the island would be closed. The decor is a bit different and the photos regrading size are deceiving. We would’ve likely cut our stay short if getting on and off the island wasn’t such a process. We love BHI and have visited many times over the past 10 years. We were certainly disappointed with the cleanliness and deceptive size/inability to watch TV. The dark area where the house is located also makes it more ideal for dry warmer months as it was quite dark and damp. The set-up of the house is interesting but the tiny kitchen and living space would be better suited to a couple or small family of four.

Winter respite

Spent a lovely long winter weekend at Off-the-Grid with my husband and two boys. We enjoyed the location of the property and took long walks on the beach, just minutes away, and hiking through the marshes and maritime forest. The property was perfect for this weekend - cozy, beautifully decorated, with comfortable chairs and a sofa to curl up with a book on and with a dining area to eat together and play games. Thank you for a lovely stay!
