The host went above and beyond with generous special touches that truly made us feel welcome.Communication with the host was easy and responsive from start to finish, which made everything seamless. We especially enjoyed the firepit—it was such a fun and cozy way to relax in the evenings.Overall, the environment was peaceful and relaxing, exactly what we were hoping for. Our stay was wonderful. The Quarters was exactly as promised - and then some. Jackie is a great host. We walked all over Jacksonville from our location. Enjoyed our daily visits from the local deer. We had an absolutely fantastic stay! Jackie went above and beyond to make us feel welcome—the thoughtful touches made all the difference. From the little gift basket of snacks waiting for us to the fully stocked bathroom with everything you could need (Q-tips, makeup remover, and more), every detail was so well thought out. The outdoor space was wonderful and gave us the perfect spot to relax and unwind. Overall, this was a fantastic experience, and we’d happily stay here again. Highly recommend!

Christmas in Jacksonville

Upon entering the home, we were greeted with Christmas music, heated rooms, and snack treats. Jackie was always quick to respond to our few questions and had provided lots of information about the area. We spent our days exploring Jacksonville and Ashland, and the location of the house made this so convenient. We were able to take an evening walk to enjoy the Christmas lights in town and the neighborhood. Such a wonderful stay! We will certainly stay here again.

This property is wonderful and would we highly recommend it to anyone who wants to spend some quiet time relaxing and exploring in Jacksonville. We walked to everything, so the location is close to downtown, yet far enough away... The owner is wonderful and very attentive to all your needs.
