Neighborhood highlights include the University of Zürich and the sprawling Zürich Zoo, with hundreds of animals housed in authentic desert, rainforest, and plains habitats. You can also hike or mountain bike from Fluntern to the lower slopes of Zürichberg hill. a popular area for hiking and mountain biking. Fluntern has fast and reliable bus, train, and tram service, making it easy to get anywhere in Zürich in a reasonable amount of time.
