A wonderful stay within easy distance of Cambridge

A wonderful stay within easy distance of Cambridge. We loved the cabin, the surrounding woodland and meadow were perfect for our kids to explore and play in. Great little touches like the fire pit and marshmallows for toasting!

We absolutely loved staying here, it was very wet & foggy but it added to its charm. We stayed for our daughters third birthday and she loved running around & playing with the toys provided Will 100% be coming again

A beautiful holiday let, set in extensive grounds with everything you need for a relaxing stay

A beautiful holiday let, set in extensive grounds with everything you need for a relaxing stay. I loved being able to explore the woodland area and I even spotted a deer one evening. Thank you for the thoughtful touches on arrival, such as the milk and biscuits - much appreciated after a long journey.

Perfect, apart from the sofa!

The barn was beautiful, clean and well equipped. The outdoor space is fabulous, with lots of wildlife to watch. The “divine velvet sofa” is actually an aging sofa bed, with thin seating pads that mean you can feel the bed mechanism underneath, and that sink below the wooden frame of the bed, so you have a wooden beam against your legs unless you sit on it longways. This would not be possible if you needed to seat more than one person on it. It’s horribly uncomfortable and this issue was raised in the guest book back in 2024. Such a shame it has not been addressed as it really did detract from the comfort of the day we wanted to spend relaxing, reading and playing games in the lounge area.

We had a great stay in Blackbarn Wood

We had a great stay in Blackbarn Wood. It was a short drive into Newmarket for the horse racing and the local pubs were cosy and good value. The woods onsite offered a pleasant stroll and the fire pit on the patio was a nice touch.

Wonderful stay

What a perfect place to stay. Cozy, comfortable, modern and set in lovely grounds that were a delight to walk around. Perfect for our family of three as we visited relatives close by. Great location near Linton. with its lovely cafe, pubs and a supermarket. Would recommend to anyone visiting the area.
